Love the controller feel and functionality, but for petes sake let us add any app so that we don’t have to work around this. War Robots, Brawl Stars, Mech Arena all work with your controller, but cant add them to SCUFNomadCompanionApp list for some reason. Also, as others have stated there is a very slight input lag, that Im sure could be updated. Ive used regular gaming controllers via bluetooth that don’t lag this much. Overall a 4/5 but a few updates could knock BackBone off their high horse.

I would avoid this controller at all cost. It's at times laggy. Which pretty much defeats the whole point of having it.

Save your money

I get this is a new app but it is the only way to map buttons for the hardware. If they had a mapping button on it like most Scuff controllers then this would be a non issue.

Changing the default mapping for when SCUFNomadCompanionApp is off is vital as the application does not recognize veterans in the ARPG space like Honkai Impact 3rd but it does the turn based spinoff Honkai Rail Star? Which do you think needs a controller more? Or the same company’s new ARPG ZZZ … also a clutch controller game.

Everytime I set default mapping it reverses the paddle mapping. Even reversing the paddle mapping on purpose doesn’t work!

The main advantage this controller had over Razer Kishi 2 or Backbone One was the paddles and I cant map them correctly. Updates, please.

Talk are missing so many games with controller support I got this to play bloodstrike and star wars hunter but both of the games aren’t in your store you should be able to add any controller support game how y’all have warzone and no bloodstrike n there the same game genuinely confused on why yall did it like this is a restriction on what we can and can’t play with it and that’s not how yall showed it off either fix this asap plz its the resin im not useing it rn

SCUFNomadCompanionApp is fine for changing settings but it focuses on being a game launcher. That would be fine if the list of selectable games wasn’t so limited. Star Wars: Hunters has been out for two months and ZZZ is the top grossing game in it’s class. The controller also has so much input lag that I end up having to use touch controls anyway.

I’m not trying to make anything of it, backbone lets me play the new cod bo6 on my Xbox cloud gaming. scuf does not even show it on Xbox gaming pass and when I search for it, it won’t come up…. Why is that?

I like SCUFNomadCompanionApp but it needs more. The list of curated games is very incomplete. Allow us to add any game. Also you have to have GeForce now! Where is it? If it at least had that I’d probably give it five stars. The controller itself has a great feel and heft, unlike my Backbone. But right now the Backbone does more of what I want, which is to be able to play my Steam library on the go on GeForce Now.

There’s no reason why I’m not able to add any App Store app. I understand that you should be able to add games that support controllers but still if I could use SCUFNomadCompanionApp as a launcher for all my App Store games it would only make sense. The only notable games I can launch are COD mobile and Minecraft, all my App Store emulators don’t show up, dead cells doesn’t show up it doesn’t make any sense

It works okay, but the occurrence of input lag is very often and terrible. It makes my game unplayable and I end up just having to connect an actual controller to my phone.

App itself works well for remapping controls and whatnot but the game overview needs work. A lot of the games I play don’t show up. Doesn’t even show Resident Evil Village as an option in SCUFNomadCompanionApp Store and that’s been there a while. Controller still works with the game though so that’s fine.

Controller itself is a 5/5 though. Quality is impressive and very comfortable to hold. Control scheme is a bit different but not bad after you get used to it. Love the back paddles too. Wish apex mobile was still a thing with this controller.

Would like to be able to explore SCUFNomadCompanionApp before purchase. I would like to check if I can use this to play star wars hunters from the AppStore. It is not compatible; please update that is the only reason I bought this controller

SCUFNomadCompanionApp is gorgeous and does pretty much all the things a companion app like this should EXCEPT some features that would just elevate SCUFNomadCompanionApp!

- ability to add any game on your device to the in-app library
- ability to add more game launchers into SCUFNomadCompanionApp (steam link, Xbox cloud, etc.)

SCUFNomadCompanionApp is fine. Although adding games to SCUFNomadCompanionApp should be easier. Corsair take note of how backbone allows you to add games to their app. The feel of this controller is solid. The thumb sticks feel great compared to the backbone.

We need to have it add games that are already installed to the SCUF library.
