I have been receiving repeat creepy spam from a number that belongs to FathomTel, which (under the name “Unlisted”) provides fake numbers that cannot be traced. This service is used by spammers to mask the number they are calling from. (FathomTel even has an Unlisted app on SpamTextBlocker Store.)

So when I looked for a spam blocker, my jaw dropped when I saw it was created by FathomTel. Working both sides of the deal.

No way I would give $3.99 a month to this company.

A year and still bombarded with these political adds an begging for money. I guess there is no way to ever stop them. Thought this was the answer but apparently not. They are still coming through with SpamTextBlocker. Went directly to the source and they washed there hands. So next how do you start a class action lawsuit. And canceling SpamTextBlocker.

It doesn't work at all, it doesn't matter doing exact keywords, same texts still make it through

Alerted developers that app wasn’t working probably due to latest iOS update. They sent me a same day response saying they were looking into issue. Next day they sent me note saying issue was fixed! And now spam texts are being blocked again! No more politicians asking me for money. Thank you!

Very effective at blocking spam. A very well done product that has greatly improved my interaction with my phone. I used to get tons of unnecessary alerts on my phone and now no longer.

It seems to catch all the spam they’ve thrown at it so far, plus all my codes now go into a special folder so my messages app isn’t so cluttered. Great app!

I hate spam in any form and Textshield protects me from unsolicited and unwanted messages. Now I hope they make an unwanted call app!

Works as advertised, really helpful especially of late!

I only wanted the non stop political texts to not be seen anymore. Its working great now and Im happy!!
