I loved QuickTakes , but now ever since the last update I can’t even see notes anymore after processing. Just a blank white screen, so my rating I’m sorry has to go down because QuickTakes is now useless for me at this time.

I don’t really like QuickTakes. i recorded a 30 minutes lecture..only 30 min because we were watching a video and i stopped because i didn’t want notes on it and it said error and that there wasn’t enough information. and if won’t reload it just kept saying error… QuickTakes is great in theory not well executed. Don’t waste your time on it guys…

None of my notes are populating and everything comes up blank! QuickTakes is really a waste of time. I only gave it 2 stars because the ideal of QuickTakes is great other than that QuickTakes is FRIED!

Use to give you 40 min for each recording, now you have to pay and it only give you a hour half for the week and if you want extra time after that runs out you have to pay was good before the update now it’s horrible

Overall the idea QuickTakes has is a 10/10. However, it just doesn’t deliver. It won’t record more than 40 mins. My classes are 50 mins. I’ve had random processing errors a few times, so QuickTakes didn’t save any of the transcript or generated any notes. It’s just not worth the hassle, since it works like 50% of the time.

This is probably such a convenient app to have as a student for lectures. It generates the recording into an outline, study guide, there’s even a glossary and links to videos based on the recording! 🤩
The only downfall that I recently figured out after using QuickTakes ..there isn’t an option to be able to listen to that recording if you are recording directly through QuickTakes . I know there’s a transcript but I think it’d be helpful to also listen to the recording to work with the outline/study guide. I hope they’re able to come up with that as an option!
Also forgot to mention, every week you get 90mins free to use and refreshes each week which is really cool. Overall it’s a great app and I’d recommend to my other friends/classmates and if you don’t wanna type up a whole outline study guide this helps a lot :))))

I’ve used QuickTakes to record on lectures and videos and it’s all normal, but when I open QuickTakes there was an error about the connection to tried again and still there. I’ve reinstalled QuickTakes again log in on google account and the message appeared and said to try again because of the connection. Could this be some bug to fixed QuickTakes ?

I have adhd and have a hard time taking notes and actually listening to a lecture at the same time. This is great for sitting and listening then reviewing later. Unfortunately, you need to pay for more time and sometimes summaries will be inaccurate, but there’s a transcript to look back at that’s been very useful for notes.

This is a good tool used to take notes, equations and flashcards for the test

Just wish I had more hours in a week :,) I go to an Early College highschool and QuickTakes has figuratively saved my head on so many occasions.

QuickTakes works really well and is a must have if you’re just starting college, like me. The speech recognition is great, even with classes over zoom, and it auto generates outlines and notes. Lifesaver for long lectures!

I’ve been using this app since my fall semester started, and I use it for EVERY lecture. It is a game changer. I personally find it most useful for revising previous lectures quickly before the next lecture starts. Great job to the guys behind the scenes!

this app has become a necessity when it comes to studying in college. Each of its abilities has made understanding new information so much easier and simplified. All you have to do is record your lecture and you have an organized glossary, study guide, and more. This quick process has expedited my studying. I will continue to use QuickTakes and recommend it to all college students, especially those who want to take notes in class but have trouble focusing.

I go to ucsc for computer science and use this app whenever I can! It’s super nice having a second set of notes to review lectures in case I may have missed anything in class. The outline tool especially does a great job organizing complex concepts in lecture to nicely summarized lectures notes. Highly recommend this to freshman !

I can record anything, I use it for my college classes but I also use it for my cosmetic videos and it does just as well. I can record anything and it’ll give me a summary and even in depth or it just records the words. Would 100% recommend makes taking notes a lot easier

As a freshman, this app helped me easily organize my college lectures and study better. Sometimes I just didn’t know where to start and this app gave the best way to begin with a truly awesome study guide for each lecture. QuickTakes is free so while I’m not sure how they will makes money I hope they can keep it going (at least for the next 4 years)!

When I first got QuickTakes it was extremely new, I had only seen one review and now there are 50 reviews. I wish that theee were more reviews since QuickTakes is truly AMAZING. It has chat features, glossary, videos to understand the concepts, and so much more. I am currently using this for my organic chemistry 1 class and it is helping me a lot for my final. Amazing app. Would recommend to the world if I could .

This is exactly what I was looking for AND MORE! I didn’t expect it to have so much detail! Everything that’s included is SO useful for studying, or even just taking notes so you don’t have to. It’s 100% worry free! It gets all of the information and helps to make it more easy to understand! My favorite part is being able to ask it any questions on the topic and it can tell me exactly what I’m looking for! Thanks for creating such an awesome app!!!
