Lost my recording of one hour: when I was finished I simply got an error. Also does not work with voice recorder.

This is the worst investment- RecordLectures just gives api error and no recording and no transcript

It doesn’t differentiate who the speaker is, will transcribe words in languages not spoken.

I downloaded RecordLectures and used it once, but could never use it again because every time I tried to access one of its features, a window would pop up, prompting me to buy a subscription and every time I closed it, RecordLectures would not be working so I will be deleting RecordLectures because it’s not functional because of the invasive advertising

Records perfectly. Only issue, which is a huge one, is you can only use the subscription on the device you purchased it on. I ordered it on my phone and when I attempted to use it on my iPad I didn’t have access to all the functions. It constantly asked me to purchase a subscription.

RecordLectures didn’t work at all!!!!!! Awful!

No time stamps. Undisclosed time limits—spits out an error message when I upload a long voice memo. Expensive.

There have been several times now where I will start recording and midway through it completely restarts but also doesn’t save what it did record. I would give zero stars if I could.

A total scam do these people even know what a “note is? I thought I was going to dictate a patient progress note instead I got some gibberish about my voice messaging system then I think you had to purchase a different app, but there are no templates no use of artificial intelligent very disappointing if they spent a little time explaining RecordLectures instead of trying to sell it, they would be much more successful in the long run, idiot

There is no log in area on RecordLectures to manage your account. I’ve reached out thought app support and hopefully will get a response.

Too long of recording and doesn’t work. They end up translating the words in Chinese or repeating words or phrases. Canceling subscription

First few test tries worked well. Then it started failing persistently with “API error: The audio file could not be decoded or its format is not supported.” Also, no matter how many audio files I save, each is a whole copy of everything recorded thus far. Please fix. This has the potential to be a useful app.

Need more accurate captioning and many sentence arent perfection.

I have had several recordings where the transcription saves, but the recording disappears even after I give it a title. There was one recording that I did a couple of months ago that never transcribed or saved the recording. I just did another recording last night at a meeting and the screen still shows the message at the top that says “Voice recording and transcription in progress. Transcription will appear shortly. The recording has been ended as of 3 hours ago and there has been no transcript. These are important recordings that because of the nature of the meetings cannot be redone.

It has been transcribing previously recorded voice memos very accurately. I like that it is very simple and not bloated with features and graphics.

However I often have to share the recording to RecordLectures several times before it will transcribe it

And the transcription notes have no option to delete. So I can’t declutter notes I no longer need. You can delete the recordings but not the notes.

When I upload the file to Google drive the name of the file is the full text of the file, so sometimes hundreds of words long

It did not transcribe an important conference and lost the audio.

Best and most accurate I've found and free, fast and easy.

This platform has changed my life significantly and I could not be any more grateful

This is the best app I have ever use. Completely awesome! All in one recorder and text. What more can you ask for. I will recommend RecordLectures to anyone.
