I live near the puget sound and have been using TideCast to check the tides for when is best to go clamming. Super easy to see predictions where I didn’t even know existed, and also to see live data to see how it compares to the forecast!
I have been loving using TideCast. So much data and all real-time. The predictions also seem really accurate, I’m just starting to pay attention to those.

if you are out on the water or affected by weather, this is TideCast for you. Data accuracy matters when trying to plan your day, especially when getting it wrong means you’re missing your set or run aground. very few apps can reach this level of sophistication, because very few apps own the hardware that is measuring the data.
As a waterman, many of my daily choices around activities rely on an accurate tidal readings. It’s great to be able to use an app that I can actually trust uses hyper accurate location specific data to inform its tide forecasts. I’ve been often underwhelmed by the many tide apps that pull from the limited geographical readings compiled by NOAA.
It was so cool to be able to look off the pier in town and know that there’s a sensor providing real time data about what’s happening on our own coast.

Easy to use and helpful when looking at future tide predictions. I like how I can also see sunrise/sunset prediction times, so I don't have to go to another app to find it.
I typically just use google to check the tides because other tide apps aren’t worth space on my phone. But this one has great data I can’t find on other apps. It also looks nice and modern.

Interface is easy to use and looks good
Very helpful app for me to check the tides in Santa Monica or El Segundo both places I frequent from my home in Playa del Rey! Hope there can be a sensor in Marina Del Rey soon
TideCast makes it so visually easy to consume data and it’s super cool to be able to compare the observed data to predicted. I’m so proud of my son Owen for being part of the production of this!!
