Sea War: Raid Reviews

This game can (and mostly is) very interesting. It can easily pull you and captivate you. You are able to develop some wonderful contacts and new friends from around the world. However, if you happen to begin on a dead or “test” server, then your experience will turn from fun to frustration. I began on a server (296), developed a stronger player / base. Unfortunately, I was assigned to the server as a “newbie” after nearly everyone on the server had weeks, if not months, of playing time ahead of me. That being said, I never was accepted and developed connections within the server. I thought that the Transfer Order option perfectly fit my situation. But… and here is the HUGE CATCH… I am NOT ALLOWED to transfer. The developers have decided that this server (296) and a handful of others are deemed test servers. Non of us may leave the server / zone. We are trapped and our game is become boring beyond words. I have invested money in this game and was very optimistic, but when the official word came down that we can never leave, it destroyed any hope for fun. If you chose to play this game, then be aware you may become trapped in a dead game.

I was sucked in to this game called “Sea War.” However, it is actually a cool game called Kiss of War with a steam-punkish, mid-20th century “pin-up” vibe. Don’t get me wrong - it’s fun and engaging. You can advance (albeit VERY slowly) without purchasing anything.
Pros: great strategy, fun resource management, base development game, simple but entertaining combat system, really fun mini-games.
Cons: the naval combat that got me to download is a very, very small part of the game and becomes less available as the game goes on. You only get to play the submarine “shooter” game for a handful of times after each base upgrade. And those become a real grind after a couple days - it can take weeks. So if you got reeled in by an FPS or naval combat game, just realize it is only a rare mini game within a resource management sim. Which is a serious bummer. It would take very little to make this a more significant part of the game and should be considered by the developers as the advertising for the game is quite misleading. I am very deep into the game and manage a large guild on an active server at this point.

Bottom line:
Fun, but not as advertised at all. Can be a money pit if you are not careful.

To creator I kind of like the game the combat is mostly the best part. But I agree with some of the comments take out the inappropriate stuff and I can’t get in anymore. If you can try to take out the inappropriate stuff and let me get in I would be happy.

Combat:

This game is very fun to play combat wise. The strategy is very convenient, and overall, I really just love the combat!

Sexual content:

Unfortunately, this game is really sexual. Of course, there’s no sexual content in this game, but in one scene, and Italian girl picks up her breasts. Throughout the game, the main objective is to save women with big chests. It was really fun until there was the sexism, and that was in the beginning of the game. Now, I want you to know that fighting was extremely fun, I just really hated all the sexual mentions in this odd game. I know some people say “boys will be boys“, but I am a boy, and I think that the sexual content makes this game so awful.

Hello there! I think that this game has way too much sexual content, and there are no other games that I know of on SeaWar Store that have sexual Contant involved with combat. If you have some time, please remove all the sexual things in this game. Thank you!

I really like the game. But. I wish there was a walk through or something to help understand what each officer does, going in blind just gets you killed a lot and a lot of time and resources to get your troops back, no since in playing if all you do is die..each officer helps another but how can you know, being a beginner going against people that have played for years, can’t enjoy the game when all you do is spend your time fixing things, it’s almost about time for a new game..

It’s your typical pay to play. I had written a review before but it seemed that all the nicknames had been taken. So I’m giving a 4 star review and then maybe you’ll see it. Your game time split 98%~2%. Guess which is which I’ll give you a hint. You have taken over a city and now you have to build a Army base including infantry,drill fields, artillery, tanks, tank destroyers, farms oil fields steel mills railway storage facilities that’s so you can go out and take over other bases and forage for supplies. Hope this helps you decide

The game would be so much better if newer players were given a chance to develop instead what happens is higher level players let newer players develop to a level where they have resources but are still outmatched then they swoop in and destroy everything because SeaWar allows a level 20 player to attack a level 10 player and multiple times without any chance to defend or recover this seems like an easy fix Let level 20 players raid level 20 players

Just to get this up to the top, this game isn’t what it’s advertised just like every other game that’s advertised here. If it was just straight sinking ships and not other maybe I would’ve kept the game but nope it’s not uninstalled not a happy camper since I’m a huge fan of the PC game world of warships.

When an ad traps you in a game demo you MUST complete to get to the next mission, that’s all you need to know. DELETED!!!!!!

I did 2 missions. 2. After the 2nd mission the game showed an ad for a game. There was no way to exit the demo. I even stopped this game, but when I restarted it I was still in the demo. I let it sit for a few minutes - 4 or 5 - while I did some other stuff and it was still in the demo for another game. So it REQUIRED you to play their demo. Wait, no it didn’t. It TRIED to require me to play so I deleted it.

Don’t go by the photos of the supposed game play, the submarines and battle photos from the information is a small part of the game and doesn’t quite look like it.
This is a strategy game like other similar ones. They do have a twist in this with an all female command team that looks like your out at a Halloween party.
It is kind of fun to play but don’t be deceived by their photos if you want to play as a submarine or battle ship the whole game.

It is like I said starts off slow but quickly turns into a good game with starters and players who can be as quick and effective as possible to win

If the ad is nothing like the game - it’s basically bait and switch. Nothing in the ad shows a need to build silly farms. Again your ads sucked

The ad is nothing like actual game play but what gets me - why is there a need for half dressed women I get women can be in combat but this is a joke Send us on missions to blow up ships Make the sub have to maneuver make it a challenge And what does sea warfare have to building a farm or city Such potential but just a waste

While it may start as a submarine battleship kind of thing the game has very little to do with that. I think the names and pic does it a bit of injustice tbh. The actual war strategy game is far better than what the pics and ads show. It really is a war game and hardly any of it is at sea lol.

The developers hide the fact the servers are undersized. So because of this you can’t take advantage of the game play advancements at your pace. They put narcissists in charge of each region to control game play. If you don’t comply you get attacked daily until you do. So you have to spend a good amount of money if you don’t want to follow their silly rules. Just limit player/region and this will help gameplay. Very disappointed in the people of this game.

The sub battle missions are fun. One is permitted to engage 5 of these, they take about 1-2 minutes each. Then you have to upgrade your base to the next level before you can take on other sub missions. This get exponentially harder: Lvl7 HQ requires a Lvl recruitment center which requires a Lvl7 Unit training center which requires a Lvl7 oil rig. Each upgrade takes 45m of waiting.

Too much clicking and waiting, but enough fun.

That part.

I’m just bouncing around destroying things. No clue what I’m doing.
There is no instructions or directions.
I’ve been in several different guilds but have no clue what for because I’ve never seen anything develop from them.
I thought joining a guild would be like joining a task force in boom beach where everyone takes a chunk of the attack
If I don’t figure it out soon I’m leaving for something different

If this game was entirely based in the submarine and shooting things, it would be awesome. Unfortunately, it is one of those games where the fun part of the game is forward facing and the boring grind the “build, upgrade, grind, level-up, repeat”. Totally a bummer, because the mechanics of the submarine part are brilliant, easy to learn… It’s just all that other unnecessary garbage that makes this game only a one star. Pass.

Some of the most toxic and sadistic forms of betrayal in gameplay can be found In This place. Beware, stalkers that play virtual games to become part of your real life. For slander, defamation to personal real life in some form that can be made. Creators of horrible pain on your emotional and perhaps physical take. Some people cannot thoroughly realize, no matter the money they throw into a game, it is just a game. DO NOT let at 12 year old play.

It was a great game for a few plays, but then it would only load a completely different, ground war game. I thought it was an add that I could close and get back to the submarine game, but I can’t leave the ground war game. Even tried deleting and reinstalling the Sea War game, but still the ground war game is the only thing that comes up after the Sea war game appears to load.

The game is amazing the detail the upgrades the money I mean absolutely everything about this game is awesome just like it was advertised highly amusing I can’t get enough of it I highly recommend anybody that’s actually reading this hang in there take your time and it only gets better and better and better
