The only thing you can do in this game without paying is make food and serve it. The food making is so janky that the food just falls apart when you try to move it. I made Anna eat everything in the banquet hall, before I tried to do something else and was met with a paywall. You have to subscribe and the game doesn’t even tell you how much the subscription is, pushing the subscribe button will automatically attempt to make the purchase without any confirmation prompts. My purchase failed because I don’t have a CC attached to my account and I don’t have enough iPhone funds to make the purchase, didn’t want to anyway. I just wanted to see the price, which you can’t. If the cooking segment is anything to go by, it’s not worth subscribing to try to do anything else.
Not really sure what the point of this game is, there wasn’t really any direction of what to do and nothing special happened when I gave Anna food.

All the game’s graphics and animations are excellent and amazing, but the one character the little girl in the intro hugs and everyone expects to have for free…HAS TO BE BOUGHT via SUBSCRIPTION?!? A player should be able to get Anna, Elsa, toddlers Elsa and Anna, their parents, Olaf, and Kristoff, all of them for free, without paying any money. What players could buy would be a few exclusive outfits (for example, Anna’s Queen outfit and Elsa’s hair-out dress) and accessories (for example, Bruni). For the game’s sake, give the players free characters, common outfits, and accessories. Also, please fix that head-glitch. Only serious glitch I’ve seen so far. What if a young family can’t afford having six or seven dollars being sapped out of their account each month, but they still want to like Frozen by having Elsa in this game? Will you keep her from them? Will you only care about the fans that have spending money? The cheaper it is, the more easily fans, no matter their status, will enjoy all the good this game has to offer! Don’t you want people to like Frozen more? I will change my rating if you do as I suggest. Until then, this game has been a serious disappointment. By the way, I agree with Catgirl20008’s review, and the reviews called,”Disappointed” and “Disappointed Granddaughter” ..they’re so right, and I reach out to them. This game could be incredible and so much fun. It’s a really great concept but $7 a month for a kid to use it and then likely forget about it is ridiculous. The fact that the paywall is also front and center is annoying too. I really am disappointed because I think my son and I would have fun with this but I can’t do the price for us to play it here and there and be charged. Maybe 6 month subscriptions or year? Then people can pay up front and if they don’t use it they know they need to cancel?

I love this company, but why do we have to pay? Why does it say what’s your favorite type of juice? What’s your name? What neighborhood do you live on? Do you really think I’m gonna tell him no I’m not all I wanna say is that there are three year olds out there trying to play this game and when they do, they like look at Elsa I wanna get Elsa‘s room and then they had to ask there mom “ mommy why do we have to pay to play my Elsa game?” And then you know what that gets the parents deleting the game and say, honey you can’t get it. It cost money and I know you’re trying to make money but why do it like that you’re making people pay for no reason just to get money why do that to three-year-old four year old two-year-olds one year year olds five year olds anything just trying to have a good day and you’re ruining it.

So I agree with Just Something in the World. I mean I get that you guys want money but there are so many kids that can’t afford it. And not only that you gave us 2 characters and I’m okay with that but like… WHERE’S THE MAIN CHARACTER?!? And for outfits we can only put on like four different outfits and they are just the same outfit in a different color. Also the kitchen is one of the worst places you can be because it is so cramped so the new room that is coming better not be for vips only because then I’m done. Frozen is my little cousins favorite movie and I found this game for her so she could play with Elsa and Anna and then she broke down in tears because she couldn’t play with Elsa or go and put the characters to sleep. I don’t mean to be that person but now she keeps asking me and her mom to pay the money and that’s NOT gonna happen. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change the character options and let the characters have their dress choices. I will definitely change my opinion if you can.

When I seen this I thought it was just a Barbie dream house clone but when I open the game, and found out there was only two rooms available if you don’t pay was a disappointment. I hate how in the games you have to pay to experience the whole game but this game is literally the worst of the bunch. Only two rooms available and you have to pay for the rest. I get you need to make money from this game but there a better way to do it like only make some clothes and unimportant side characters be part of the pay part, not the literal main character of the story. This whole game is a disappointment.

Absolutely crappy of the company to not allow family sharing. I purchased the offer for $4 for the first month and tried sharing with my kids tablet to no avail. Ended up finding that this company doesn’t allow that for any of the 30+ kids focused apps. This is garbage. As a parent, I should be allowed to manage my kids devices and not purchase and manage subscriptions through their tablet, that may not even be functional next week.

I like the game ,but why I gave it 1 star is because,Budge forces children’s parents to waste their money on buying everything when they payed for the game and once you pay for the game everything should be unlocked, therefore I give it a 1

Honestly, The Barbie dreamhouse was more fun than this you can’t even do anything without paying and seriously only Anna and Kristoff unlocked? I think Elsa would be a more fun character to play with plus you can’t even change the characters hairstyles like in Barbie and you go to TWO OTHER PLACES!! Without purchasing the Membership plus there should be more characters like Olaf isn’t even in the game either all you guys are, are Greedy for money! I love frozen, But I’d rather stick with your Barbie game more

This game is such a joke it is SO boring!!! Only TWO characters,Anna and the guy,are playable,and ELSA is behind a PAYWALL?!? Seriously?! Of the 2 free starter characters you can NOT change their hair AT ALL,and Anna’s BOYFRIEND only gets TWO starter outfits while she like,TEN?!? Really?!? And then there’s only TWO free rooms,kitchen and dining room,the dining room REALLY being the only interactive room for the character themselves….and even THEN youre STILL limited to what they can actually DO….the characters can sit down,eat/be fed,be given drinks,or they can read books/hold stuff or play the harp…..that’s it!! You cannot even change their clothes manually(like if to leave them in pajamas),it just happens “magically”! Unless you REALLY like cooking/baking games do yourself a favor and DELETE this game until the makers decide to actually make it more FUN….until then,hav fun in the KITCHEN!!!

I bought the subscription for DisneyFrozenRoyalCastle on 9/24. After my daughter got full access she wasn’t engaged and didn’t really like the full access play. It didn’t have what she wanted to play on it. So I decided to not renew it when it expires on 10/24. It’s 10/1 and says we’re still able to play until 10/24 on my subscriptions. Tell me why my daughter got on DisneyFrozenRoyalCastle today and doesn’t have access. That’s not acceptable.

Why do all of these games you have to pay for stuff. Also it’s really annoying how Elsa is on the front of DisneyFrozenRoyalCastle but you have to pay to get her. DisneyFrozenRoyalCastle has nice graphics but it’s really boring when you can’t play the dress up or the locked items.I thought DisneyFrozenRoyalCastle would be fun looking at it but it’s really annoying having to pay for literally nothing.😕

My daughters have waited for this game to be released , only to find out Elsa is locked for a money grab. Absolutely ridiculous and heartbreaking for the kids. You should be ashamed. I have a large parenting channel on IG. I will definitely be addressing this.

I downloaded DisneyFrozenRoyalCastle for my 4 year old granddaughter who loves Elsa. She was so excited!
I told her before I downloaded it that we weren’t going to pay any money to play the game and she agreed. I assumed there would be plenty of free things to play with. I was wrong.
As soon as she opened the game she tried to get Elsa, but we soon realized that you have to pay a monthly subscription in order to get Elsa. Anna and Olaf are the only 2 characters available for free.
She played the game for a few minutes, then with tears in her eyes she told me she doesn’t want to play the “Elsa game” any more.
I wrote this review and then I am going to delete the game.
I am very disappointed that the main character of the game is not available for play without paying the monthly subscription. It seems like a very bad joke to play on innocent children.

Will not tell you ANYWHERE how much a subscription costs, before you’ve purchased it

i only downloaded this cuz i was super bored. i thought this game w be a good way to pass a bit of time, i also think it's worth noting that i used to have a game from the same platform that was very similar to this one. (at least concept wise, because it was a barbie game.) i was very disappointed when i realized that not only did it cost money for elsa, but also for the bedroom & dressing room. literally making it so u could only make & serve food. there's also only anna & kristof, which i think is so stupid, mainly cuz kristof isn't that entertaining to me, but also cuz elsa is heavily advertised. same thing with the fact that the dressup area is covered by a paywall. it's seen to be advertised, not as an additional part of the game, but js a general part. the baking/cooking thing is pretty much the same as it was in the barbie dreamhouse adventure game i used to play as a child, but at least in barbie u were able to unlock the whole house for free. i feel like the base game is really basic, and they could've js advertised the game as a cook & serve game with additional gameplay instead of a whole castle: which obviously it's not a "frozen royal castle" if ur only option within the game is to make food. not worth rlly downloading for such a basic game imo, but if ur a parent of a child, or a js child viewing this ig it could keep u entertained for awhile until u get bored.

so first of all I think that it’s not fair I mean budge studios has so many games and it gets so much money already from its other games so I think this one should be free because if you don’t have the stuff that is not free there is like nothing to do you can’t do many role plays and you have literally TWO characters and I mean come on they get so much money from other budge games that this one should have everything unlocked so if they don’t have everything unlocked I’m going to delete it and everybody needs to as well I am really disappointed in budge so I really hope this gets fixed cuz even my sister was exited but now we are just flat out disappointed in budge and we will delete right away if this does not get fixed so budge please make everything free or it will be deleted right away and we will never buy another budge game again sincerely A to budge

Come on app-makers, really? You’ve put the main character of frozen, who is Elsa, behind bars (subscription)?! Normally you put in the main characters and then you put side characters up for buying. I agree with other reviewers, that this game and everything in and about it ought to be made free, no money or subscription required to play all it’s features. And as an improvement, just like the players can design dresses in this game, you can add a feature to the designing and let the players personalize the natural colors of the in-game characters’ hair, eyes, lips, and skin (the players being able to save their different designs, and being able to switch between them and the characters’ original colors at anytime).

It’s a terrible game sorry to say but it is you can only cook an outfit and we have you’re doing it as if it was a business and I don’t feel like you care if people are having fun I really don’t like it. I swear to God this is the worst game I’ve ever seen. I’m sorry though. Just please understand me. This game is terrible so sorry for saying this 1 million times but it is why can you just make it all free? If you make it all free all of the people who are sending reviews in five star even me out of all my friends about it if you do it, why do we only have the palace? Why can’t we just like have a lot of places to go like shopping spree or the mall or something is the most boring thing in the world so yeah so this game is terrible but thank you first time.

So there is three reason why you should not get this game first you have to pay for a trial for about three dollars a month and about $20 for a year and also you cannot play a lot of stuff and because you have to pay and you can’t really dress up any of the characters in the characters you have to pay for

I wish apps would just offer a one time purchase for the unlocked app. A lot of folks like us have special needs kids who don’t understand something not unlocked and why they don’t have it right now. Trying to managed subscriptions to different games is to much with an already hectic life. I understand subscription for a learning service, but a kids game is to much imo….

Look it’s good but it’s like worthless its good if like baking but all th other floors are locked and u have to Pay its. Like a waste of Money.I don’t suggest this game after all its pretty much terrible. This is my Opinion so don’t judge people are different.

I feel that the concept of this game is cool for lots of Disney/frozen lovers (like me) the game has good and bad qualities like any other game, first of all I got into the game and it told me that I could have special features with paying which I feel every game has, but it’s a full HALF of the game!!! 😱 The good qualitys are the fact that you can cook and bake with Anna and Kristoff! But there are at most 2 characters I can play with the rest are 💵💰🤑! Over all the game is really cute I just think that it would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fun if there was less stuff to buy,

So on the first day, I was cooking in the kitchen and I brought it to the dining room, and I went back to the kitchen, started cooking more things and went back to the dining room and serve it, and I went back to the kitchen and almost everything was gone, and I didn’t see the counter. I didn’t see the oven and it made me angry so I went back to my home screen and well I went back on the game and it did the same thing but then I went to play the next day and it didn’t do that anymore so I told my mom if I could get this unlocked and I think that it is too expensive for these people and places so she said no and I got really mad so I played the next day and I was playing with my trays and stuff my cart tray and it. I put it in the kitchen and it’s gone now I don’t know where it is so OK that’s it, and I can’t find it!

You need to not make a subscription to get the bedroom or Elsa without Elsa there is no frozen she is the main character of this movie I want to be nice 😊 but please 🙏🥹🥹🥹 Answer me please I know you need money but REALLY PEOPLE like FOR REAL or make up subscription cheaper maybe $.20 per year or month. Your game is really fun, but you really just have to change that and then a whole bunch more people would play your game and it would be so much better for you guys but I know you’re not making like a bunch of money but you’re at least getting something but and then other people will like play your game so you’ll be able to see people playing your game and having fun, so that’s a good thing please please please change this

I’m disappointed in this game. It’s free, and you can view the Banquet Hall place, and it’s very interactive. BUT almost everything isn’t free. And the paying thing is not a one time thing. Kinda sad. I was ready to pay once, but I guess it’s not like that.

Cons:
1. Elsa is behind a monthly/yearly subscription paywall

2. Access to all outfits is also behind a monthly/yearly subscription paywall

3. And finally, accessing all rooms is yet again behind a monthly/yearly subscription paywall.

Can’t it just be a one-time payment for a reasonable price?

I wish you could access more rooms and do more stuff. The game is great and it is amazing for little kids who like frozen I am 9 and I don’t like the movie frozen but I really like this game so I suggest you get this game

Sorry to say but why does budge do almost EVERY game for money. The only free game in the budge apps is one game, EverRun. Why don’t you make at least 3 games free? The only things I can do in this game is accses to the kitchen and cooking area. And I can only play with Anna and Olaf. Please can you change this. I will delete the game if you won’t. I don’t want to waste money for just a game.

So far it's good but l'm not a fan of the subscription in these types of games I want everything in these types of games to be free and it's hard to use your imagination when there's barely any free characters or anything to do other than going into the two rooms that are unlocked but other than that it's a pretty good game

Hey budge studios you guys are my favorite game developer especially when you make those type of games you can interact with for example Barbie dream house adventure and I also love when you made the frozen game but I am disappointed that I had to pay for everything and I understand that you make money off that but at least unlock some rooms in the game especially in the barbie dream house adventure or you can at least make it free I know that’s too much to ask for but it will be really nice especially for little kids that play the game so I hope that you read this review and at least considerate it.

I love it but I really wish we were able to have more stuff that we are allowed to go on during the castle like we can go to different other places in the castle and not have to pay for it

I think it is awsome but I think it can be better if they added a few more characters for people who don’t have vip. But it is a good game to play. Let’s hope they give us a little more people!

It literally wont let you go upstairs unless you have like vip or something all you get to do is cook stuff and you don’t get Elsa! I love her but I can’t even play her that’s so stupid but cooking is fun so I give it four stars

There are some reason that I love it and some reason I don’t the good reasons are that you can change her outfit. You can bake stuff you can make cake in a pie and you can make soup. You can make a lot of stuff you can make bread, but here are the things that I don’t like, you have to pay and I don’t want to pay for more
