I was looking for an app that would dub and translate videos with lip synchronization. I came across an ad for AICaptions on Instagram, which showed the same video being spoken in different languages. The ad pretended it had lip synchronization capabilities, but in fact, it doesn’t do that.

Also, because of language variations, the voice-over translation becomes very weird as it has to fit the timing of the original language. Do not waste your money trying it unless lip synchronization and maintaining speech timing are not important to you.

AICaptions works, but it’s translated languages is poor quality. Especially Ukrainian. App simply takes too long to convert source language, then it’s destination language translation is the worst! About 70% of my translation was incorrect. Lots and lots of bugs to work out. Definitely not worth the money.

Good idea but no luck with AICaptions. I Will wait until technology gets better. I was excited to try out but was greatly disappointed.

It’s the worst app you can use because even after you pay for subscription you have to purchase seconds to edit your videos and it’s extra expensive!

I was extremely disappointed by the invitation to purchase your app. Why should I buy the product right away without a chance to try a demo version first? This raises doubts about its quality and functionality. Paying for something without knowing how it works is unreasonable and unacceptable.

I don’t like the fact that I can not say something before I want to start reading AICaptions , I should have more control over that, I should be able to start the teleprompter when I’m ready to share the message not a good investment after playing around in it!!

I bought your application because I wanted to translate from Spanish to English. I saw in the commercial that I chose the language. Nowhere do I see how to do it, I feel that what they offer is not what I thought it was because of their promotion. I feel cheated. I would appreciate it if you would please refund the money of the $59 I paid.

Tried the application like how it worked, ran out of seconds purchased two packages of 1200 seconds each, or total of 2400 seconds, been waiting four days for to be added to my account, unable to use the application. Set requested support to correct issue, still no response from Support. Had to reach out to Apple for a full refund.

I paid for more the maximum amount of seconds and the order did not go through so I tried again and now I’ve been charge $60 for credits that are not in my account. The support has not been able to resolve my issue and it looks like I can not get my money back. This is a defective product and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

I have used a few other app with better results. The translation from Spanish to English is a huge no no. I guess it only translate from English to other languages but if your video is in Spanish it really can't translate. Also the add on FB seems like AICaptions dubbed your voice into other languages not just captioned, that's the reason why I bought it but in reality it doesn't do dubbing. Big failure.

Leaving a review for the first time because I genuinely believe AICaptions is a scam! The ads showed one thing, but AICaptions delivered something else. The English voice translation doesn't sound like me at all; it's out of sync and doesn't match my lips, like some kind of joke 🤣. I bought a subscription right away because they don't even let you test it. Now I regret downloading it at all—$60 down the drain. DON'T waste your money, they scam you!

You buy something and then you find out you have to endless purchase more time to be able to edit your videos. And it is outrageous to find out you are stuck to an app that doesn’t allow you to cancel your subscription. And if you miss one day in the renew process you have to pay again for the whole year. It is frustrating even to find out that the dubbing and subtitles are unqualified.

The English language has a strong Indian Accent. They will Ask for more money after the subscription. Because you need to buy credits to finish your video. Waste of money.

I’m a boy and I recorded a video of me whispering and the ai nailed my voice in Chinese but when I started screaming it made my voice into an anime man character

Love this AL app. It takes movie of a different language and turns it into english. I love it

I didnt pay for AICaptions but i will, definitely works really good
