At my small business family owned restaurant our Toast system double charged our customers for their meals on Valentine’s day. This was over a week ago now and Toast has not refunded any of the missing money. Our customers are hurt and furious because of this theft. The Toast helpline worker hung up on us when we called for help. We are left dealing with robbed customers and Toast will not refund the missing money. This company has criminally bad customer service as all they can tell us is they are trying to work on the issue and they have no idea when it will be done.
We need help! Our customers have been robbed by Toast! They need to refund the money out of their own pockets if need be until they sort this egregious error out. We are a small business and are suffering greatly for it. Toast needs to address this issue immediately.

This app is lacking a lot compared to Square’s app. You are not able to see cash vs credit card sales, amount of credit card tips, make any adjustments to your menu or credit card fees associated with the sales. It is so basic which is very surprising given the in depth capabilities of the register and back end itself. The app needs updating to give restaurant owners more real time information. So much of life is on the go and more information should be obtainable from your cell phone on this app.
