99% of people on HMU post their nudes and other things just because they think since HMU is called “Freak” that everyone on it is freaky. It’s really annoying I can’t have a single normal conversation with anyone, sure i get hella people texting me but they all want 1 thing. Please CHANGE THE NAME!!! 🙏

Hello..I heard this is a great app but I don’t know why you guys wouldn’t respond to me..I try to create an account and I got banned for inappropriate content while I haven’t even done anything or finished creating the account..I try to reach out to anyone that can help from your place but everyone has been ignoring my messages…kindly please fix this problem I’m having because I would like to experience how good they’ve talked about it..Thanks!

Yo, HMU is dangerous. People are sending inappropriate pictures of themselves and they’re minors. You claim to ban them but they just keep coming back. I’m on here arguing with people about why HMU is dangerous and they claim it’s a “dating app” when you’re clearly promoting friendship.

They argue, “it’s called ‘Freak’ for a reason.” That’s not what you developers intended correct? Well there’s loads of child pornography on HMU. And it spreads to other forms of social media. Please either do something about it or shut down and try again with an app with better utilization.

This is a HUGE problem.

I used HMU for only an hour before someone started saying sexual things to me and I said no. Then the person said they were going to hack me so I reported them which is also supposed to block him and he still kept texting me and harassing me. So then I tried to just block him and he was still somehow texting me and threatening me. I ended up deleting my account and HMU .

There’s full of nasty people asking for nudes and plenty of people not even wanting to be friends. This should be technically a dating app at this point and these are minors of been here. I saw a front year-old girl half naked, and I seen some crazy crap like a whole penis so HMU is not recommended‼️

Guys proceed to to try to and tell me I should send even though I put of several of my pictures that I don’t and then when I added this dude we were talking and yes THAT was my fault but he added me on snap we talked until get got photos of my and threaten to send them to everyone I knew on my Instagram (THAT HE FOUND) and blackmail me so I got my mom involved and she called the cops

I don’t usually write reviews but HMU is so awful that I have to warn people. They say that they’re very careful about blocking what people post, but two seconds on HMU and I already saw someone’s ding dong. Not only a complete waste of a few minutes of my life, but a few minutes I can never have back. Under any circumstances do not let your kid on here. Be careful out there folks.

I got HMU bc i wanted more friends, mind you this is 12 and UP so tell me why i received inappropriate messages and pictures from people way older then me? honestly, idk what i expected when its called ”freak” yall need to change the name of HMU ASAP. Otherwise it would be a very good app to use for FRIENDS. I wouldve liked it, but im not tryna get caught up, when i all i rlly wanted was friends☠️

Normally I don’t write reviews but this one is much needed, so first let’s start off with sending I don’t know how many times I put I do NOT SEND NUDES and they attempt to get me to send and so on and so fourth and also even if u out ur age (for example I’m 13) guys my “age” will say he and stuff then say I’m actually 16 or older! Like this is not okay and then get you to send guys are very horny all the time and it’s definitely not okay for safety and you get girls there are can some pedos and this is not okay they should definitely change the name and put in more restrictions just overall DO NOT GET HMU

Bro I didn’t think HMU was going to be that bad but it is there are some good people the rest are horny 16-17 boys who want nude photos. Like it’s actually terrifying don’t get app if your not into that . HMU isn’t filtered to keep the nasty away ,and literal pedos on HMU there is a lot of older boys that talk or try to have conversations when my age is in my bio. Literally got threatened and their are scammers

so I’ve been trying to use HMU since forever, it worked before but I think I glitched it and now it won’t let me change my profile because it’s blank, it won’t let me post anything or even message anyone nor will it let me see my old messages, and it won’t let me log off too, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling it over and over again but it will not let me, it’s been like this since last year and I simply can’t figure out how to fix it, literally nothing works, the profile and shop sections don’t show up like they’re blank so I can’t log off or even report HMU since everything is blank ☹️

i was having a great time talking to a couple people who actually liked me, i submitted verification of me and simply because i have a beard im being told i’m not the age i claim. i have a drivers permit to CONFIRM im the correct age and y’all won’t even give me a chance to prove it. it makes no sense when i’ve reached out multiple times. i’ve done nothing wrong, and i have proof to prove my age is correct so atleast give me a chance to prove that.

I’ve gotten banned on HMU since it was called “Freak” and i have not been unbanned since. Also it is important to note that i did not break any rules in HMU . I really enjoyed HMU and i don’t appreciate how i’ve been unjustly banned and do not have a way to appeal. I’ve tried emailing but it seems like that does not work and i genuinely don’t know what to do now

Not been able to use HMU for at least 12 hours now. I’m not banned. Is this the end of HMU ? You had a good run Freak. But an app like this never lasts. For god sake, you let 13-17 year old children post nudes for the public to see.

I’m the first 5 minutes of me having HMU I saw 3 images of lewd content. 1 being a girl going crazy with the part being blurred. 1 with another girl selling pornography with some of her chest out. And a FaceTime call screenshot of a penis that’s highlighted with light green to somehow get past your security or whatever.

HMU is good but i tried deleting my account bc i had alot of posts and wanted a fresh start but the account just wasn’t deleting so i tried deleting it 3 times and i was gonna delete HMU and get it again so i can make a new acc but it just keeps logging me in my old one without even asking like to Sign in with Apple ID or email. I pressed on my profile and nothing would even load. I’m very confused

HMU is fine and stuff I just got told a lot of inappropriate stuff on here and we aren’t allowed to take vids.I will say I do like the screenshot prevenation they have in place for albums bc a lot of people sneak 🍆 pics in there.I did meet one person I did like on here and a few others not bad

I like HMU I have met some amazing people and really cool friends while using HMU but I have been banned for about 2 months now and I was trying to reach out to developers if they can look into my appeal I know it might take time but I just want some type of communication from the developers. I hope that this message reaches out to them and I hope I will finally get to use this amazing app again Thanks you

Pretty good app but i am unable to log out of my deleted account. I accidentally deleted it and tried to close app but when I opened it again there was no option to log out so im stuck with a non working account that i cannot do anything on

So for me, HMU stopped working when I wanted to redo my account I kept installing it, and I detele but it was still blank when I tried to go to settings and make another account then everything went blank but overall I love HMU and could y'all please reach out to me and tell me how to fix it and I also love how you can talk to many different people around the world.

It a really good app and i enjoyed it but it wont let me delete my account and i kept trying over and over again and it says “deleting account…” but it never loads and i just want to delete my account because i dont want to use HMU anymore

I really like HMU it’s really great and I see their making changes and I would love to get unbanned as I’ve been waiting for about 2 months know and I’k the developers are probably trying their hardest to get to everybody and make HMU better but I would really appreciate if I could appealed to the developers thank you

I like that app and I have found some good friends though it but I deleted my account and HMU and when I got HMU again it is broken I am not banned or anything it lets me see peoples account but not let me make a account of my own or add them

Honesty hate the fact that i can’t make it so that only girls can view my acc and i can only see girls without a subscription. The dudes on here are super strange and there’s so many more dude then girls so it’s literally mostly men…but yeah it’s an alright app other than that

Its a great app, but ive been stuck on the verification for over a day, i wanna meet new people but i cant bc the verification can’t verify me, even tho my face is clearly in the pic, and its not nearly as bad as some of these others on HMU

Hello! I’ve used this app/Freak in the past and have uninstalled it in the past but the last time I uninstalled HMU and decided to come back to it it acts as if I still have an account when I deleted the account prior and I don’t know what to do

When I go into HMU nothing loads and it’s just glitches tried deleting and everything please help. Also I really enjoy HMU and don’t want this bug to prevent me from using it

i like HMU i do! BUT!! i tried to delete my account just to start new you know? but my app now wont!! nothings loading and im 99% sure my acc didnt even delete, please help!!

I love it but I don’t like how they added limited posts per day I like it when you could just wait 30 minutes and you could just post again without having to worry abt the little subscription for unlimited posts

HMU is a great way to meet more people, it the moderation needs some serious help. i can tell you guys have the best intentions at heart but the execution needs work. every single message i get (unless i specify im only looking for friends) is about nudes or trading or flirting in some way. i believe HMU has a lot of potential, but the moderation just needs to up it up a notch.

I recently deleted my account so that I could change my whole acc and make a new one well now HMU going blank every time I try to press like my profile and when I try to press the plus sign to create a new photo it doesn’t work pls help

Hi I once had your app and it was super fun I would talk to people we would play video games like warzone Minecraft and Fortnite.i had a family dinner and during the dinner I got bored and decided to redownload HMU when I did I wanted to let my cousin know about HMU because he is on Wizz and the two apps are similar so when I was showing him HMU my mom called me and I left me phone with him he proceeded to delete my account that I had just made 36 minutes ago and I got permanently banned please unban me there isn’t another app like this I tried different apps like Wizz,renz, and two other ones if you would be able to unban me I would be very very very happy thanks for reading my review-Bryan

I recently decided i want delete my profile and changed my mind the next day downloaded it and my profile was blank and so was the store i couldnt add a post or text anyone other than that app is good

Dude.. HMU is amazing my account was dry so I was trying to find apps that would let you find people to add and when I tell you my phone went from 0 friends request to 28 in only a few minutes I just found that crazy HMU is so fun and really good if you want to make new friends and find people that share the same interests

I got banned while I was sleeping. And all I was doing was talking to my friends before. I don’t even know why I got banned.? Other then that I like HMU , I got to meet a lot of cool people and some near where I live and even at the new school I’m goin to.

HMU is so good if your bored and don’t have friends or ppl to talk to i joined like 20 minutes ago and got about 15-20 chats. It’s literally so much fun if you find the right people. I would def recommend especially if your at sleep overs and need something to do

I used to own HMU a while back but my account was hacked and I’ve been banned for almost a year and I wasn’t even able to login into my account before the ban because I forgot my password I love HMU and I would be happy if you would please unban me, thank you for your time -Cayden
