Fun Frenzy Trivia: Quiz Games! Reviews

This game has to get much, much better about recognizing synonyms and alternative ways of saying the exact same thing. Way too often my answers are rejected even though the correct answer is nearly identical to what I guessed. Example, name a popular food that comes in a box. I said “pizza” and my answer was rejected, but “frozen pizza” was a correct answer. Name something you do in the morning. I said “breakfast”, but that was rejected even though “eating breakfast” was a correct answer listed. Also, I’ve been playing this game on and off for approximately two weeks and already the questions are repeatedly being repeated. Get some more content!!! I wasted $10 to remove the ads and I find the game simply boring and frustrating.

It’s fun but sometimes the answer you guess doesn’t make sense for what they show as an equivalent answer and vice versa. For example there was a question that asked about something you only take out of your closet on a special occasion . I typed ‘gown’ I got a strike but one of the choices was a ‘dress.’ Then there was one question that asked, What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? I typed ‘brush teeth’ it flipped over ‘get ready as an answer. This becomes very frustrating and some answers to questions are archaic, dog names: answers were Fido , Rover, etc who names there dogs that anymore?

This is a fun and challenging game but it has some frustrating issues. The answers don’t always match up to the questions, some of them are nowhere near the question asked. You can type something in and I’ll accept it, but it’s not what you typed. There are ads after every game and every level. After about five minutes of play it starts freezing up. It’s caused my phone to freeze up to where I’ve had to power down and restart my phone. It’s also nothing like the ads you see for it. I’m probably going to delete it due to these issues.

Some of these boards are fun but most are missing something. I would guess maybe 3 out of every 5 boards are missing something obvious, and sometimes something obscure is included instead. Or, instead of combining a category, it’s broken up but doesn’t include other likely common answers. The potential is there but this needs help.
Examples:
“Name an animal with horns”, but “deer” and “elk” are not among the answers, “rhino” is.
“Name something that can be bought in extra large”, the answers include “fries” and “pizza”, but not other food options which could be combined into “foods”

I don’t agree with most of the reviews here. This game isn’t that great. Fun questions but answering them is frustrating. You have to type in the answer. If you don’t type it in just right you lose! Also the answers aren’t totally literal. A lot of them are theoretical or metaphorical it gets confusing. I’ve had so many right answer and the game counts them as wrong. Sometimes after answering the game just stops, doesn’t let you answer anymore, and reveals the answers even if you only have one strike. Try a different game.

I bought this game because I love family feud. The issue I have is that you don’t get credit when you get something right. For example an answer could be “a bar” you get a strike, when they show the answers “a pub” could be a correct one. Or you answer “the police” and it doesn’t show, but “a police station” does. They are the same thing. This happens in almost every round so good luck getting the whole board.

I was enjoying this game, but after the first couple of rounds without very many ads, there suddenly became ads between each round and each set. That’s just too many ads for me to sit through just to play a game. I’ve also had difficulty pressing the buttons and fat fingering letters, but I don’t have that problem with my regular phone keyboard.

I saw this game (or what was supposed to be this game) show up in ads on other games and it looked fun so I clicked the link, downloaded it and started playing. It absolutely is NOTHING like what the ads were showing, which is the reason I downloaded it! It’s a fun enough trivia game, but not the same at all. Why do game designers do that? Just give me the exact game you’ve showed me, not some random game that might have one word in common on the title!! I deleted it because of the deception.

Love the game but find it very irritating that they offer no ads with purchase however every time I’ve tried to purchase one I get a message saying no internet connection I’ve even tried using my hot spot on my phone with the same result but when ads pop up to download other games it will let me download every time! SMH don’t advertise No ads if it won’t allow you to do it! I’ll give it one more day and if it still won’t work I’m uninstalling!

Game is ok but when you’re not “specific” with some of your answers it’s just not fun anymore. For example you have to name four things that come in a carton- it’s just random is how it’s phrased, yet it’s all related to food items, not simply “name four things that come in cartons”. That for me throws the game off and instead of being what could be a fun game it’s nowhere near as fun as it looked in the ads.

Love this game! Just like my favorite game show on tv and best of all they don’t insist you buy coins! You can if you want. But you’re not forced to like other games. If they decided to charge for FunFrenzyTrivia instead of buying coins I’d do it to support them!

I really enjoy this game because you don’t have to be a wiz to get the correct answers and that makes me happy.

I enjoy playing this game. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because when you miss one answer all the spaces turn over. You are allowed 3 misses and occasionally you get them. But the majority of the time you don’t. If this was fixed I would give it 5 stars.

Why all the good reviews for this horribly misleading game? As usual, I was introduced to this game on a pop-up ad, and the ad made it look like a fun, multiple choice game, BUT once you download it and begin playing, you immediately learn it is actually a fill in the blank game. Why aren’t games EVER what they are portrayed on the ads??!! Once you download, it’s not at all as advertised. I deleted this ridiculous app.

One of the worst games not only in trivia.
Questions are ridiculously easy. When you type in answers it gives you suggestions to save you time on typing but what this allows you to do is start typing and if it doesn’t suggest your answer it’s obviously not there. So you can never miss an answer in this game. My five year old aced three levels. This game is not fun! Not a frenzy! And Not Trivia!

The questions are nice, but I got at least 7 ads within the first 10 mins of me playing, and that is NOT an exaggeration. Uninstalled it. Some of the ads can’t even be skipped. Ruined the fun for me. It would be fun without the ads, though. Gives Family Feud vibes.

This is supposed to be a trivia game as advertised, but it’s more like family feud! The ad has multiple choice trivia questions about actual trivia and the game is nothing like it!! SO tired of the false advertising with games!!! Represent what your game really is, why try to trick people only to be completely disappointed! I deleted the game! Awful the way this industry is so unethical!

For one think there’s a ads every 10-20 secs which is crazy. Would be totally fine with and per game which takes less then a minute. There’s banner ads above the game throughout playing too which I’m totally fine with. Another annoyingly thing is that it’s plainlyway to simple. Definitely not worth a download.

I love this game, but would prefer to play on my laptop it makes the typing much easier and faster.

I paid for ads to be removed and still getting ads. I asked why and they said some ads cannot be removed and I requested a refund and they said they can’t do that, they advised I have to get refund through App Store. I think I would rather start a class action lawsuit because it’s not about the money it’s about false advertising no pun intended

I was enjoying this game until I repeatedly put in an answer getting an X and the very same answer came up. Ex: name a profession that requires you to save a life. I wrote life guard and got an X…after getting three X’s for perfectly legitimate answers, Life guard came up as an answer…happens way to often…and the ads! Way too many…
