This is a total money grabbing scam! You spend 199 coins for every chapter! And 1000 coins is $10, so for a 12 chapter book you need to spend $20 bucks to read? There are half a dozen other apps that are of much better quality spend $20 for a weeks worth of reading as many books as you want but not here ohhhh no! Don’t gat InkTale!

The stories are ok, most of them are just the same story with different characters. Unlike the other similar apps though, this one is a serious rip off. If I buy 1100 coins and a chapter cost 199 coins EACH then why can I only read two chapters before being forced to purchase more? After spending 398 coins I should have 702 coins left right? When going to unlock a third chapter my coins are spent but the chapter is still locked! Still having more than enough coins to unlock I’m being forced to buy more! To top it off InkTale doesn’t even have the complete stories.

I’m not gonna lie went to this because I saw it on TicTok but my main problem with this WHOLE STUPID APP is that the chapters are ridiculous expensive at these other apps you can watch ads to get enough to read one chapter but Noooooo not on this one I wouldn’t even mind buying the book if were paperback because the ones I started reading were really good
Feel like app is hold great stories and author back from actually getting their work out there it’s really sad because people really wanna read it

I have more than enough bonus coins but InkTale will not let me read on. It only brings up the top up menu where I have to pay money. InkTale is a scam. Don’t download it at all.

It’s not that you people have out of the world stories, you are not the only one in this business. The way you ask for money that’s just outrageous. I can give 0 star to InkTale.

The stories are good, but I bought 2 book and went back to the book i had already payed for and is asking for more coins.

Great books way too expensive. It claims the chapters are 199 coins to unlock so I spent I spent 9.99 (plus tax) for 1,000 coins and 100 bonus and my coins were didn’t even last 4 chapters. I’ll stick to Joyread, wehear, radish, and dreame

This is the worse novel reader on here!!! As soon as you try to use continue reading a story, it jumps to a totally different story and you can never get back to the original story!!! Why???

InkTale is really bad, you can’t go back or to the main menu is awful , u have to closed InkTale so you can be back at the beginning and open the book it won’t let you open

They charge 199 coins for 1 chapter and it’s 5 bucks for 500 coins and the writing is mediocre at best not to mention the books are like 200 chapters long so ur paying hundreds of dollars to read one book like I said not even great writing it feels like a scam they are probably stolen books

This is a PPC (pay per chapter) app. I’ve read about three stories on it. All of them were incredibly short (less than 15 chapters), but incredibly expensive. I don’t mind paying authors to read their stories, but InkTale is insanely pricey. Worst PPC app I’ve ever downloaded.

Just topped up. Still have over 5000 coins but cannot read any locked chapter. It asks me to top up in Chinese. I thought I will give InkTale a chance since the books are shorter than the other apps. But this now is turning into a scam if not fixed.

I have tried numerous times to add the stories to my library but will not work no matter how hard I try. I also have trouble with scrolling etc. the chapters that I have unlock with coins don’t show that they are unlock. There are many bugs and glitches causing me to have to reopen InkTale

I just downloaded InkTale on Facebook because of the story but even after I downloaded it it didn’t show right up. I guess this is one app I won’t be keeping, and this is why I only gave you one star is so I could comment otherwise it would be -zero stars

I bought the 30 day VIP reading for 20 dollars. It closed as soon as it turned midnight and the date changed. I can not get anyone to respond I tried to report it. The sight said I didn’t make a purchase I have my Apple receipt to prove that I bought it. I want to read or have my money back. I would not make a purchase here ever again. Plus the chapters are too expensive. 199 coins for one chapter that is why I did the reading pass. I feel like InkTale is nothing more than a scam and a waste of money.

The majority of the “books” are just a few chapters but when you display the list of chapters, it shows there should be dozens, or even hundreds MORE. Incredibly expensive as to “unlock” a single chapter is 199 coins!!! It would literally cost $100+ to read a story (if the entire story was available, of course). This is a trash app for sure.

I’ve had InkTale for a very short time. The first book I read yes expensive but I went ahead and paid since it was only 12 chapters. Now I have downloaded the book “divorcing cheating husband,” problem is once I get to chapter 6 so that I can read it. It requires me to purchase more coins. upon purchasing 10 more dollars worth I still cannot continue on. I have tried rebooting InkTale . I have tried going into it from different ways. Still no results, at this point I’d rather just have my money back even though the story I started sounds to be a very good book.

Does not even qualify as a short story. 199 coins per chapter.. super large font to hide just how short it was. And story was a rip off of several tropes. Pass this one by folks. Not worthy of your time or money. Note if I had paid for all 12 chapters this “book” would have cost $20.00..which is 4 or 5 online e books from Apple, Amazon or kindle.. pass

The book is good to read so i paid for a sake of good book only to be rip off.got 1k coins and payed 199 for a 1 chapter,when i try to go next chapter is said i have to pay more.what happen to my 800 coins that left? The book I wanted to read was only 12 chapters but at 199 coins per chapter for a story that was probably AI or a template story that is similar to others I have read it’s not worth it.

Be careful! Bought 500 coins, read one chapter, then app told me I was out of coins and needed to purchase more! Rip off!

Have tried on numerous occasions to open the book “Honey Let’s Get Married” and I can’t. Every time I try to open the book it causes InkTale to close. I am able to open other books but not the one I initially downloaded InkTale for. So not happy about that.

Been trying to locate this title where can I find it?

Major loading issues!! My internet is fine, but having loading issues. If I leave the sight to answer a call or check something else, I get the “spiral of death”!! It won’t load unless I close out InkTale and restart it. Sometimes it takes multiple times exiting and reloading to get it to work again! Major pain in the butt! If the issue continues I will delete InkTale after finishing my current story and “coins”.

I really got into a story, but I can’t keep reading it because I have to top up. Isn’t there a way to just read the novel..
At least give me the option to watch an ad rather than having to spend money🙄🙄

I read lots of werewolf novels in InkTale. They are all great. Enjoy it.

I’ve noticed that the shorter books InkTale charges 199 coins per chapter but when you do the bulk unlock, they take more coins even though they say you get a 5-10% discount.

I’ve spent nearly $100 just to read 6 books that are less than 20 chapters. Plus your “bonus coins (rewards) are not even enough to unlock one chapter.

InkTale is a wide variety of books that have many potential, the services are in a very good work to help, they do intend to work their best to accommodate to everyones needs, and as time keeps moving forward I see the work from many amount to a much productive assistance to those who solicitate to InkTale . Haven't had a horrible experience as a reader, and curios to learn what more they have in store.

I like reading since I was in childhood. But sometimes the novels are too long for me. Now I found there are so many genres of novels and I can read a novel without too much time. Novelshort is really kind for me to get fun in reading!
