Videos and podcasts have stored working.

I have made RamDass part of my morning routine for a couple of years. Then about about two weeks ago I could not see the daily quotes or video/audio clips. I deleted RamDass and re-downloaded it. Now the same issue except also none of the extra archival items either. I just get a white empty screen for anything I try to view. I’ve sent two messages through RamDass Store but have gotten no response. Rather disappointed and hope it will be fixed soon.

RamDass is no longer loading content. Don't know what happened but it's a bummer. Good material when it works!

This new app is not as good as the previous one. It doesn’t have the feel and vibe of Ram Dass- including colors and space. I tried it and then ended up deleting it. Very confusing as to how to search for anything.

The last Be Here Now app was a model of functional simplicity. Elegant… easy on the eyes… navigable.

It had distinct sections, it had a useful search function, and it had lists of items small enough to scroll through quickly.

RamDass on the other hand…
I LOVE you all at BHN and LSR for your efforts, but I’ve used RamDass once since you discontinued the old app. Why? Because this one is frankly, well… it’s a loving mess. I’m going to leave some seriously critical feedback here.

The content of course speaks for itself, but RamDass itself… it’s so terribly difficult to navigate after being spoiled by the elegant old App…

As for the new one:

• Every conceivable topic is mashed together in each category with no differentiation. You want to absorb yourself in a category, you better be prepared to scroll and dig… you can’t search for anything.

• The icons are HUGE, and so you must scroll forever to find your way back to an old article, video, or blurb. There’s no numbering/filing/collation system, no easy way to return to an older article or video, since you have to scroll, scroll, scroll. A bookmarking system would be a saving grace, but it doesn’t exist. And we need to be able scroll vertically through smaller icons to find something in a long list.

• It’s visually crowded… there’s no space. The icons swell against once another… no visual negative space or breathing room. It’s extremely bright, and uniformly colorful and frankly, abrasively so. This is where I miss the cool colors scheme of the old app. I could stare at it for hours… this new app is hard on this user’s eyes.

• I downloaded RamDass a second time a few months after itaunched hoping for improvements. It’s unusable. And it’s a shame, because it makes accessing Ram Dass’ treasury and associated content almost impossible. It’s like rummaging through a giant bin of random toys… you can’t set out with any real intention or methodically discover the content. It’s a total mish-mash.

Appreciate the content.

Would love for it to be searchable and easier to navigate.

Is there only short content? Haven’t seen anything over 6 minutes so I am constantly looking back at my phone to start a new one.

Gradient is hard on the eyes going from strong color to bright white. Makes the text harder to read.

I love RamDass and use it all the time. The past 4 days I can open RamDass but I cannot access any content. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, closed it out, and restarted my phone. Please fix this. Super annoying.

I loved the Ram Dass app because I could share the content. RamDass doesn’t seem to have that option. Maybe in the near future? Ram ram 🙏

I enjoy the microdoses. Would be 5 stars if the Daily Words of Wisdom were incorporated 😊

I like RamDass very much! I and I really appreciate that it is FREE. My suggestion for future updates is that RamDass would have a ability to connect to Apple Health app’s Mindfulness Minute section. Similarly, the Plum Village App allows for this connection to Apple Health app.

Love the new app! Super easy to use and intuitive. The new microdoses (short video and audio clips) make it easy to re-center any time of day.

Thank you for the new app!! It is so colorful and fun.
The themes are I love how the words of wisdom have evolved into the micro doses. They even have fun pictures now!!

If I may request— aside from the option to mute the starting audio if the phone is in silent mode, I would love a proper search function. The previous app’s never worked for me and it would be very useful. Often I’ll be caught on a phrase or concept and would like to dig in more, that or I’m searching for a specific line and can’t quite remember what talk it’s from! (If anyone remembers the bit “I’m down to earth… I’m here for fun!” Please throw it back into the aether I’ll find it eventually haha.)

Thank you again for keeping Ram Dass’s legacy alive and loved even though he’s no longer in body.

Hello! App is great. Please remove the audio that plays at startup. It plays even if your phone is on silent. Thanks!

The microdoses have been working for a few days, but today is the first day where it looks like everything is functioning as it should. Glad to have my daily fix back

Love Ram Dass and seems like a great app. The beginning audio is very jarring. Hope they decide to fix it with the next update.

The new app is beautiful, but please add an option to silence Ram Dass saying “Just be here now” every time RamDass starts up. In “quiet startup mode,” the same words could instead come up as text on the screen. Often I’m in surroundings that call for silence.

For a free app, it definitely under-promises and over-delivers!

Only “con” is I do wish for a silent start up option for RamDass .

More content would always be appreciated, but better to have the current quality over just “quantity”.

It’s so nice to have the voice of Ram Das to meditate to. Recently, over the past 4 days, I’ve been unable to listen to any of the material on RamDass .

I believe RamDass isn’t working. Like another reviewer, I’ve deleted RamDass and reinstalled. Closed my phone down and restarted, and my software is up to date. Maybe it’s a test? To see now mindful I am. Can I let go of RamDass :)

Anyway, I saw this as a chance to be grateful for the foundation and donate in the time I’d usually be using RamDass . I guess I just have to Be here now, because there’s nothing to do. Great lesson :)
