Unacceptable performance by driver Corey on the 7 pm service from LAX terminal 2 to Van Nuys. The bus arrived at 7 pm and there were less than 10 people, including me. Once at terminal 3, it took Corey almost 30 min to to load the bus. It was full but he did not count the passengers and one had no seat and had to stand for the whole trip, which is illegal. Few minutes after leaving tge terminal 3 stop, Corey announced that he had to stop. He apologized and said he would be away for 10 min. He left the bus unattended, i couldnt see if the door was open or locked, without giving instructions on what to do in an emergency. He returned at 7:55 pm. So we are now one hour late and as we leave he notices that one passenger is standing and announces that everyone should take a seat. We told him he should have checked the passenger number before letting them on. This is unacceptable under every point of view. Shame on this service.

The bus itself is great. But this app, and the company that handle billing, are bad news. I tried to buy one ticket, but the app showed that the ticket sale did not go through. So I tried again and suddenly it shows I’ve bought 2 tickets. The app does not offer a way to cancel the 2nd ticket. I emailed the address provided and got no answer. A follow up phone call was an exercise in frustration and futility. Clearly they do everything they can to make it tough or impossible to get a refund. Too bad they are willing to burn bridges with customers over such small spoils (keeping money for a ticket that I did not want and that will never be used because it expires too soon!)

I downloaded the app hoping to catch the bus and get information about where it was. The app sent me to a web page to access the live tracker, which made me wonder why I needed to download the app. The live tracker updated the “real time” location of the bus only for the bus to show up 18 mins early, a time not reflected on the live tracker. This worked out for me since I was waiting already but what was the point of the app? Then I was informed that I could just tap my debit card on the bus for a ticket. So what was the point of downloading this poorly designed barely functioning app?

Bought ticket off app but for an hour and a half, multiple buses passed by without stopping. Ended up taking an uber which cost more money. When I asked for a refund through their support line, which inherently was difficult, they said all sales are final, and “it's important to acknowledge that FlyAway service operates within the broader context of public transportation. Consequently, estimating precise wait durations can be challenging due to the inherently variable nature of traffic conditions in the Los Angeles area.” Absolutely disgusting, please avoid at all costs
