Worth it for Chris Hansen

It’s worth the subscription for me because I’m an enormous Chris Hansen fan. Takedown is a fantastic reboot of To Catch a Predator. If you didn’t like the early seasons, give it another chance because in MOST of the newer seasons they changed back to the original formula where Chris talks to the predators BEFORE they are arrested. Some episodes still occur post arrest, but it depends on which police department Chris is working with. The predators still come up with hilariously dumb excuses, and Chris is still as quick witted and sassy as ever. Highly recommend this app if you’re a fan of the original TCAP series. I gave 4 stars because the price is a bit steep, and unfortunately there’s not much content worth watching beyond Chris’s Takedown episodes. But $5 a month for 10+ seasons of Takedown isn’t that bad. Die hard TCAP fans will enjoy.

Content is 10/10: As fascinating as it’s ever been, came here for the pr3d takedowns, stayed for the other crime investigations. Pleasant surprise to find there’s not only some amazing takedown stuff, but like I said all their other shows have been great
The app itself 7/10: it’s cool, works great, one weak point that could improve is the playback functionality, the scroll bar is sometimes hard to pause, or scroll back 15 seconds to rewatch something. Idk maybe I’m spoiled or used to YouTube’s, but I feel it can get clunky at times. Otherwise fine app, remembers where I left off last, and you can cast to tv no problem

I am so Happy to see Chris Hansen back doing what he does best! He has always been my favorite Predator Hunter. I’m excited to explore the rest of the content on TruBlu. I love that I can pay for my subscription through Apple so my credit card info isn’t out there any more than it needs to be.
