I have experienced where I take a series of pictures and when I get to the office one or more of the pics say "Error!!!". It's a black picture with just the words on it. I have caught this while on the job site, but then I have to remember which shade was sin which room.
I purchased My Measures Proba couple of years ago for Aussie 17.99. I tried to use it the other day and was told it needed to update. When I allowed it to update it couldn’t do it. I then went to last edit apps and saw My Measures +AR Measure. This was free—or so it told me. I downloaded it and used it once. Today I got charged $54.99 Aussie for a 1 year subscription. I do NOT want this. I want my other MMPro app to work. Can you pls refund me the $54.99 and enable me to use MMPro that I paid for a couple of years ago. Thank you. Lisa
One Star Because its a Subscription Service

I’m giving one star to this app because the developers are charging a monthly fee. It’s a fantastic app, to be sure. And the team of five people deserve their pay. However, charging $36 a year for a measuring app is beyond reasonable. A measuring app with loads of features is still just a measuring app. Paying the monthly fee for “extra features” beyond measuring is just not worth it when using a free app is an option. I would rather buy the app for the price of a tape measure and skip the monthly fee. What is that? $25-$30? In that case, I would be happy to give a higher rating. This new subscription model makes sense for some apps; like Evernote for instance. But it is absolutely ridiculous when applied to many other apps; like this one.
Crude and incapable

I realize I’m just messing with the free version, but it’s laughably stripped down to the point of hardly being a good gauge of the app’s potential. For one thing, I saw NO evidence of any AR capability. Distances are not measured by the app at all and must be entered MANUALLY. Angles, on the other hand, are automatic, but they don’t factor in perspective. So a rectangle viewed from a side angle will not read as 90°. Finally, the AR measuring shown in the video must only be in the paid version. But if I can’t test it, I don’t buy it. This app is really just the same as drawing on a not-to-scale photograph and marking it with measurements you’ve taken yourself with an actual tape measure.
Don’t waste your time on free version—can’t do anything in it

You can take the photo and draw arrows. That’s it. Wish I had that 20 minutes of my life back—downloading the app, watching intro video, taking photo, figuring out the arrow drawing, then pointlessly searching around the app for how to get 3 simple measurements. You severely wasted my time, WAY overpromised with your ad copy on the App Store and then think I will still pay you $5.99? Never gonna happen!! And App Store how about you start monitoring the ad copy these companies provide, because it’s sure starting to feel like bait and switch on a regular basis.
