I have been searching for a sports widget for a while and I decided to give this one a try. A lot of things about Pennant are great, such as how the widgets look and how you can see your teams record. What Pennant is missing to really be a great sports app is live scoring or at least a feature that lets you see upcoming games for your favorite teams or league. Seeing a couple of the upcoming games on a widget is something that would be really useful. It would be a great way to capitalize on the situation due to there being nothing out there right now that has live scoring on a widget. If a feature like this is added it will make my payment well worth it. Until then, solid 4 stars.

Pennant is beautifully designed! I appreciate the quick reference on standings and stats for the different sports. Even if I don’t closely follow one of the sports, I can easily reference Pennant during conversations and be caught up on what’s going on without reading through tons of material.
The developer has been quick to respond to questions and feedback, which, to me, shows they really care about the quality of Pennant . I highly recommend!

I stumbled across this app on complete accident during the 2017 season out of frustration from MLB’s official app. In the two years since, I’ve used this app on a daily basis during the season. Its design is easy to use, and it displays handy stats you would probably only find elsewhere than Baseball Reference. The new update for iOS 13 takes it a step farther and solidified my love for Pennant . Well done!

I am loving Pennant and use it almost daily. It’s updated frequently which I appreciate.

Please add so when I’m in the my this app view, I can click on one of my “widgets” and get into that info. So I click on my fav team and it takes me to the team screen. I click on NFL standing and it takes me to the nfl screen so I can dive in more. Should all be linked together.

If possible, would love to be able to also see my teams upcoming schedule. Who they are playing, dates, and times.

Also needs playoff data/standings/games.

Simple/clean design - gives me the information I care about (standings,record, last few game scores) without bogging me down with stats that I can lookup when I have more time. Thanks team - keep up the good work - love the option to turn off quick stats.

Wow! I am so bummed that I didn’t find Pennant until the end of September. What a brilliant concept! This is a great example of how excellent design can make tons of data fun to consume. Really beautiful and efficient way to track your team’s playoff chances.

I’ve been a fan and user of Pennant for a long time. It’s so simple and intuitive to use. I’ve loved the improvements and watching how it’s been expanded over the years. Well worth the money to keep up to date on sports.

This is a great app and I love the new features. The only thing I’d like to see are the return of the MLB wildcard indicators —they were very helpful. I would also love to see the FBS college football conferences added.

Other than that, a must-have app for any sports fan!

You won't be disappointed. You can see all the standings in an easy to view comparison across all teams, along with more detailed W/L stats for each team. What a great app.

Love Pennant ! Not everyone’s NFL team is competing for a division title, but we still hold out hope for the wild card :’). If you could add an option to show conference standings in the widget that would be awesome!

Simple app looks really good and does everything you’d want (for the most part. Some small bugs but I’m sure they’ll be fixed). Widgets look fantastic

I absolutely love Pennant! When ESPN can’t do widgets, this app does and does it well. Who needs another sports app?

This WAS my go-to app for baseball stats for the last 4-5 years !!! ... AND I recommended to several family and friends. Could keep track of who was leading, by how much, get previous games’ scores, etc.
Now I’m expected to pay an annual fee for basic stats ... for what WAS free !!!
Sorry, not interested ... there are other ways to get the same info for free.

Good UI but it seems the teams games don't get updated automatically. Takes hours or days sometimes to show relevant information. As of this posting the Panthers have the right record but only show the first five or so games on their info page. Canceled subscription. Not paying money for a bugged app

It's got the best visual representation of the MLB race to the this app. Keep up the good work!

Love the addition of NHL, NFL and NBA.

Pennant is great, but I wish there were one time fees to unlock features... instead of subscription model.

While the view is simple and straightforward (win!), the data is usually slightly wrong. So as an overview it works great. But if you want the actually stats of a team you’re most likely better off looking elsewhere.

There’s a bug in Pennant if you use it in Apple system-wise dark mode. Pennant displays no information if you open up division details. The dev does not reply when I’ve tried to reach out and show him what’s wrong. Until this gets fixed, this is a flat out rip-off. Also, the scores update very slowly after the games end.

Records of teams and leagues are not up to date and it’s been a few days now. Slow on updating info. Just not worth it. Beautiful idea and concept though.

For the scores and basics that I am looking for. So clean, simple, nicely laid out and easy to use!

It is a good app but they should make the widgets for and so you can select a favorite team free because some kids can’t pay for that stuff

Gives you a good picture of how your favorite team stacks up against the rest of MLB in a single glance without all the inane statistics dreamed up over the last few years. Are we in first, and if so, by how much? Author responds to problem reports promptly. Buy it!
