Bubble Level Plus Reviews

I downloaded BubbleLevelPlus based on the number of reviews when compared to other similar apps. Does it measure an angle? Yes, but you get an annoying pop-up every few seconds telling you that your measure time has run out and you either need to wait 5 seconds to clear the pop-up, only for it to return a few seconds later, or upgrade and pay for a version without it. I suppose if you need a single measurement that can be done quickly before the pop-up occurs, then BubbleLevelPlus may work for you and be less annoying. But if you need to take precise measurements and multiple measurements, there are several other apps that can accomplish this and did not have the annoying pop-ups. Perhaps at some point, BubbleLevelPlus didn’t have the annoying pop-up. As it gained popularity, I imagine the developer probably added in hopes to earn extra money.

Just downloaded BubbleLevelPlus and tried to use it for a simple level. It took me 5 minutes because a pop up kept telling me that I had to upgrade (for a price) a d after 10 sec, it would let me continue. Then after another 10 seconds the pop up would reappear freezing the screen. No thanks! Wouldn’t buy it now after this nonsense!

You cannot make any sort of measurement with BubbleLevelPlus until it quits and states “to continue measuring you need to upgrade”. I used it one time and then deleted. I would give zero stars if possible. Found another app that works much better and still free (with “In App” purchases). These were unobtrusive and easy to deal with.

Today (6/4/20) I opened BubbleLevelPlus , said no to the upgrade, and a pop up says I’ve used it too long (time wise) and I have to upgrade or wait. I decided to wait, you literally have 5 SECONDS to use the tool before the upgrade pop up comes back and the process starts all over. Complete waist of time!!! I had been using BubbleLevelPlus for a couple of years prior with NO issues.

You can use the bubble level for maybe four seconds before it stops and locks you out for four seconds. And the centering level is locked. So it’s fairly useless without upgrading.
The description doesn’t say in app purchases, but you need a 99 cent upgrade to unlock. Now I have to delete and add more clutter to my App Store list.
I should remember to read all the reviews.

Don’t bother. Free app is completely worthless. There is a time limit on the bubble tool that forces you to constantly hit reconnect or upgrade while using. It’s hard to hang a picture while doing that. They might get more upgrades if the tool was functional without begging for upgrades while in use. Terrible app and terrible developers.

This used to be a great level app with a ton of functionality but the developer decided it would be better if they take most of the features included in the free version and put them behind a paywall.

It's one thing to charge for BubbleLevelPlus , but to strip functionality and make it so you have to pay to get the functionality back is super lame. Never using this bogus app again.

You have literally 5 seconds to level and then you get a pop up timer that makes you wait another 5 seconds because you didn’t pay to upgrade. Then you get another 5 seconds to use. Back and forth with this annoying pop up until you get your measurement wastes a lot of time for such a simple task. Avoid BubbleLevelPlus!!!

My first use of BubbleLevelPlus was to level my telescope mount. Used the bubble and after working for 15-20 minutes, I was able to successfully center the bubble. Something looked funny so I dug out my old shop level to double check the mounting plate. The bubble in my spirit level was all the way to the end! What a waste of money for BubbleLevelPlus.

I’ve had BubbleLevelPlus on my phone for a long time. It is occasionally useful but not the sort of app you use all the time. At some point along the way a time limit was added to the free version so you get approximately 4 seconds to measure and then have to wait 4 seconds before it will continue measuring. This makes it completely unusable so I’ve removed it from my phone.

You can do NOTHING with free portion of BubbleLevelPlus. It gives 2 secs and then a banner comes up disabling all telling you to upgrade or wait two more seconds to continue. Waiting 2 secs, same banner same thing. Rinse, Repeat.... Wouldn’t buy for amy amount because I can’t even see what options I’d be purchasing. It may be awesome and I was planning to purchase, but I’ll choose another and I’d advise you to as well. I never leave reviews, but this is ridiculous.

I’ve paid for ALL OF YOUR APP UPGRADES and have used the toolbox daily and have several tools (currency converter) no longer working. Developer website is for some 3rd party web hosting company and no other options for support are listed! I’ve paid upwards of $25 to use ALL FUNCTIONS IN THE MAJORITY OF YOUR APPS and to now have non-working tools that I paid for WITH ABSOLUTELY ZERO SUPPORT is UNACCEPTABLE and I request a formal response from the developer to either assist on the matter OR REFUND EVERY PENNY I’ve spent to use all the functions of iMetalBox, Ruler, Converter, Binoculars, ETC!!

The free version only lets you use it for a few seconds before a huge ad block the entire screen rendering BubbleLevelPlus completely useless. It does this over and over every few seconds. Don’t waste your time downloading it! I have no idea how BubbleLevelPlus can have such high ratings when it’s utterly useless without having to pay for it and there are actually other options out there that are pretty decent for free! The “Measure” app that came standard on all iPhones is better than this!!

It wasn’t as helpful as I hoped. Every 4 seconds it forces you to click on “upgrade” or “continue” when you click continue you have 4 seconds to before it ask you again and then you have to wait 4 seconds just before it allows you to click. Either purchase it or find another one

You get 10 seconds with the leveler before it freezes the screen and makes it so you either need to upgrade your subscription, or wait 10 seconds before you can utilize the tool again. What the heck?? For someone trying to hang things on their own, this renders BubbleLevelPlus almost useless. You have to be fast and hope you aren’t hanging something heavy, because then you’re stuck.

BubbleLevelPlus was carefully crafted to annoy every bone in your body until you upgrade to the paid version. Every couple of seconds, it disables the level and sets a 4 second countdown... then requires you to click continue to resume level use. Adds are stung all over the screen pretty much all of the time.

But... for the few seconds of use between these annoyances, it seems to be a pretty good level, and has a clean user interface.

Needed quick app to level, and this is definitely not the one to use. Free version basically gives you like 5 seconds of measuring and then STOPS MEASURING and gives you a MODAL pop up reminding you it’s free. If you need to measure for more than 5 seconds, you must free up a thumb or hand to remove the pop up and continue. This was extremely frustrating and basically prevented me from doing my project.

Skip this one, get the other bubble apps. At least they are functional.

It’s a very nice app for leveling with one glitch— it always moves from vertical to horizontal to even when you don’t want it to. Sometimes I’m trying to measure an angle where there’s not enough room to place the phone lengthwise, so I set to measure vertically but it quickly resets itself and takes away my measurement. Other than that BubbleLevelPlus is very nice.

Great app for leveling light switches. Works well but could use a button to lock out all buttons while leveling. If you hit any button on your phone or on the screen all kinds of unwanted things happen.

At first I said too easy but very accurate and since it is always with me convenient. Must have app.
