iHandy Level Reviews

I use my Handy Level function often and find it to be accurate and easy to use. I've recommended it to several family members and friends, all of those who have downloaded the ap have also been pleased with its ease of use and functionality.
I read about the ap in an architecture magazine and think that more people should be made aware of it as it comes in handy in everyday use. Thank you for this Handy ap!

I downloaded this because it worked with my iOS. Apparently Stanley hadn’t updated for the nee OS yet.

Literally kept thinking, there’s no way this is level, but it said it was 0.3 degrees and it didn’t seem to get any better with adjustments. Finished the work and went to releaser it and it now says 1.4 degrees. I went and grabbed a real hardware bubble level a while later and set it up to the thing to find that the bubble was nowhere near center, completely off to the left.

Don’t trust these measurements. Find a better app or wait for this one to get patched before trying it again.

Like a good amount of recent reviewers have already mentioned, iHandyLevel used to work fantastically but now it crashes as soon it begins to load. I'm thinking this has to do with iOS 14 or one of the iOS 14 updates because I've had and used iHandyLevel for around five years with no problem, yet when I tried to use it yesterday, after not using it for about seven months and after upgrading my iPhone Xs Max to iOS 14, is when the crashing started.
Please look into this and fix your app because I love using it when it works.

Love this gadget! Carpenter for 45 years I've bought plenty of tools. This one goes in my top ten. Even tho I'm retired my eyes always focus on plumb n level so when I want to check something this tool comes in really handy. Glad I've lived long enough to see it happen. Thanks!

I initially downloaded this to my phone for a specific reason, but it wasn’t until it migrated to my tablet did I notice my device was spooling all the time. I tried turning off every superfluous notification and setting I could, but it wasn’t until I deleted the iHandy app did it stop. I don’t know what a uni-tasking app such as this could possibly be doing to cause such a thing. However, I find it rather suspicious.

I am concerned about my iHandy’s respect for consumer privacy and how the interface bugs you to get their other apps. I have both the level app and the now defunct, paid version of translator app which is no longer available in the apple store. Besides losing $, I became suspicious when iHandyLevel won’t work when I connect to my VPN and turn on settings which block malware and tracking. Too fishy for me. Deleted both.

I’ve had my Field Biology class use iHandyLevel for years for estimating tree heights. This year, several students had iPhone 11’s of one version or another, and we could not get it to work on any of them. Hopefully, this is a temporary problem, as this is/was easily the best clinometer app out there for accurate student use.

There are many uses for a level or a plumb, but a good straight back will help you more than you know, these tools help make this happen plus 10^7 other uses, limited by one's imagination:)

There are occasions I don't want to run out and grab my 4 foot level to level or plum the project. iHandyLevel provides that quick confirmation for the job. Very handy tool to have with you at all times.

I use this more than I thought I would. I renovate homes and there's always something that needs a quick check and often the regular level isn't around. Thumbs up!

A must-have app! This is one of my most-used apps. Both fast and easy to use on my iPhone, iPad 2 and iPad Pro. It's an incredibly handy tool to have around. Just calibrate it periodically against a full sized level to insure accuracy.

The basic level works but the other features are things you have to buy. On top of that the level and other features are all ready in iOS, Open the Compass App and slide sideways on the screen. If you do that get a level and surface level all for free.

I've been pleased with this apps utility and ease of use. The tools are intuitive and accurate. I use iHandyLevel for simple projects like hanging a photo to more complex like building a wall yourself.

Good application. It works. No substitute for a purpose built level, but for those times you have your phone and need to know the pitch on a deck or a roof it works. Add a straight 2x4 and you can set the pitch on a blade and grade a driveway.

This is a simple, effective app. I’ve had it for over 3 years and we still use it to level pictures, cork boards, sheds and other surfaces.

I needed a level since we just moved and i will say this was easy to use, but it was very unreliable and made a different measurement every time I picked up my phone. I could tell something was wrong when I had my phone upright and it said it wasn’t level but that level was with my phone croocked

When you need it, you need it. This one works wonderfully. Well I don’t use it often, when I need it I do use it. Has so many wonderful features.

It's really wonderful when you can get a free app that actually does what you got it for.
Don't tell anyone that I would have paid for it.

Handy when you need a quick level

Was just turned on to this today. Once installed into my phone, instantly started using it.
Now I have it everywhere I go. Great new tool
