Subscription needed to play

I downloaded SplashJr for my 4 year old. She played one round and then it requires a monthly fee to continue. Had I realized this, I never would’ve downloaded it. She’s crushed, but I’m not paying 10$ a month for an app. There’s a 7 day trial, but I’m not doing that.

The game was fun for the 45 seconds it lasted, but it shouldn’t be listed as a free app if its not actually free. If you scroll down to the bottom of the description it does show membership options, but who actually reads through all of that when downloading a free kids app? I didn’t find that info till she couldn’t play anymore and I went back into the description to find it.

Charged but can’t use

So for the last two month I can’t open SplashJr. It just keeps giving error and shuts down. I have been charged for two month and never used SplashJr . Then I deleted SplashJr and installed again. After that SplashJr doesn’t let me use my paid period for which I was charged today. I mean I still have 1 month paid subscription but I can’t use it🤷🏻‍♀️

Can’t open

We tried this for couple days, my little one likes it, so we decided to try 1-month subscription. After a week, my child is no longer interested in the repeated materials. So we canceled the renewal of the subscription. Surprisingly, as soon as we canceled the renewal, we can no longer open SplashJr . We supposed to have the full access until November 13th, 2020!!

$6.00 minimum monthly subscription required to work

no info is given up front to say that on top of buying SplashJr it will not work without enrolling in a monthly or annual Autopay subscription.

They won’t even reply when I want to cancel the subscription

I was browsing AppStore for fun, educational games for my 2- year old kid and clicked on SplashMath because it said it could be canceled after the Trial period. But the cancellation option button is nowhere to be found and before even my kid woke up and started trying it we started receiving tons of emails and it is too early. Please, cancel the subscription. It shouldn’t be listed as a free app if it is not actually free. No heads up given upfront to say that SplashJr will not work without enrolling in a monthly or annual Autoplay subscription. I would buy it if my kid was 4-5 years but she is only 2 and it is too early for her. Now I cannot figure out how to cancel and the cancellation option is not in your app or iTunes. Please, someone tell me how to cancel this.

Useless App

I am in the middle of my one week free trial and cannot get the durn thing to work. It constantly freezes up so u cannot play it. I purchased for a year for $60!!!!! Now I cannot figure out how to cancel. I go to iTunes and it's not there. Please someone tell me how to cancel this before my week is up July 31st. Thanks!

Stop charging my card

I have been trying for months to cont act you and tell to stop charging my account. I have not used SplashJr in almost a year. Please feast and desist from charges. This is my 6 th attempt to contact you I left numerous replays to your email that you continuously ignore. Stop. Please Stop

Well well well

First off, it's a good app for kids 4-6. Trying it for one week then will be purchasing for 1-2 months so my child continues to develop and learn with it since she likes it. We're on day 5 now of dAily use. I would give it more stars.....but you can't use the coins earned. The zoo/aquarium continuously freezes up and glitches/bugs out. So it's a useless feature. It DOESNT work at all. Zilch, nada. We sat there for 49mins with it frozen until my iPad closed SplashJr out itself. It's that laggy and glitchy. Just useless. I would keep SplashJr for longer but I'm sure there's NON buggy apps that my child would like better with mini games. But the aquarium looks so cool so I'll continue trying it until I'm done with SplashJr .
As for the learning it's decent. The partial answers helps on difficult levels, and you can turn it off anytime. Overall: 4/5 learning 3/5 layout 0/5 for mini games with coins.

Good but very expensive for a free app

Content is OK. However asking for $9 a month after answering couple of problems is very expensive for a supposedly free and educational app. This is a very aggressive marketing. Uninstalled and unsubscribed quickly.

Math app

Just bought SplashJr so far the kids enjoy it. I think it’s a great adjunct to help them reinforce their math skills

Awesome for kids

Great for kids. We have been using SplashJr for years. I recently discovered it again. They will keep you on a question until they are confident that you know the answer. Thank you

Very good

6 year old likes it. Spent over hour on it earning coins

Perfect for your child VPK through elementary schoolLots of things to do

That’s why I read it five out of five

Awesome Purchase

My 5 year old loves using SplashJr. Very easy to understand and it guides the every step of the way.

PreK

My son did really well for a 4 year old on the kindergarden level. He learned to add and subtract. Thank you

Seriously! Subscription required for trial as well?

Why would I enter credit card information for trial???

It is not free and you need to pay monthly!

Don't advertise as free when it is not. It saves us time to download and then delete!
