Got an old Dakota I’m fixing up, decided to see how off the speedometer was, so I downloaded this. When I downloaded it, inside, standing still, I was going 3.6 MPH.

Decided to let it calibrate a bit, let it run for about 5 minutes. Started reading accurately. Set it up on my dash so I could do a side by side comparison. I take off from a parking lot. My truck reading 7 MPH, SpeedTracker 15. I turn onto the road with a 25 MPH speed limit. I match it with my truck, SpeedTracker? 40 MPH. I took a detour for one stop sign, and it seemed to adjust to normal when I started slowing down. Instead I took off at about 2K rpm, enough to make it move with a jolt. Same 25 speed limit, but this time when I took off hard, SpeedTracker said 60. And continued to read that.

Turning onto a 55 Highway, I slowed down to about 30 turning onto it. I get up to 55, like a normal driver. Take a guess what SpeedTracker said? 90.

Last thing is I go up a steep hill, push 4K, going 60 on my tach.
SpeedTracker reads 105.

How come this does not do track up, where the map orients in the direction you are going. It looks stupid North up all the time, and no way of having it go the direction you are going. I would have been happy to have done a full purchase, but not now….

update. they just made an update saying this new version it is suppose to work…. it doesn’t. maybe they should test their app before releasing it..

I’m on a high speed train and I thought it would be neat to see the speed. My location accuracy wasn’t great but was wildly small compared to the pile of data and distance I travelled across 15 minutes. It would have been more than needed to create an estimate of speed.

Beyond oddball use case, I have no idea how SpeedTracker might perform, because I’ll never download it again and I’ve only been going >200kph during the time I had it installed.

When I first download SpeedTracker I can use the speedometer but after I close SpeedTracker and reopen it nothing pops up but the blue lines and I can’t press any of the buttons but whenever I uninstall SpeedTracker and reinstall it it will work just fine but like I said before I close SpeedTracker and reopen it and it doesn’t work so please fix this

When I first downloaded SpeedTracker a long time ago, I had access to all its features. Specifically, the map. Went to check SpeedTracker today because I was wanting to track some things with my bike after getting a custom tune and find out that they want money for features I previously had for free. I understand if they wanted to start charging for new downloads of SpeedTracker but don’t expect me to pay for something that I used to have for free.

I downloaded SpeedTracker to try to see if my speedometer is off...I always question whether or not it’s accurate as I feel I’m going way faster than other cars and I never drive more than 5mph over the speed limit. SpeedTracker seems to reflect the speed on my car, however, it’s consistently fluctuating. I set my cruise control to 75mph on the interstate (no hills, no curves, even terrain 100% straight road) and SpeedTracker fluctuates between 72mph and 75mph whilst the speedometer on my vehicle stays the same. I know it’s only a couple mph but to me, that’s significant as I’m trying to get an accurate measure of my speed.

SpeedTracker is great, but there are sometimes it won’t work or will stop working for a minute. But like all apps I understand that there will be problems, and I accept that. I’m glad to have SpeedTracker though because it still does amazing work for me whenever I’m going somewhere in my car. Keep up the great work guys XD :) :D

I’m a “classic car afficianado”, which is fancy talk for I drive a lot of old junk. Older gauge clusters are often faulty or just don’t work. With SpeedTracker, I no longer have to shuffle back and forth between my GPS and a speedometer app when I’m driving. The HUD is handy as well. Excellent product. I hope they continue supporting it.

It performs well and has tons of features. The lite version has all necessary features and the trip navigator screen is just fantastic. The altimeter and compass are not necessary but fantastic add ons for a free app.

I use SpeedTracker almost daily! I enjoy the details it provides. However, I recently switched phones, and I lost my trip history. Yikes!

Very cool app the only thing it needs is when you turn the phone horizontal, you don't have digital speeds.. but other than that exceptional, I must say.

It is easy to use use easy to read. Tracks my rides, has a good map. Nice design. I love it. As with any always on GPS device, it will drain your battery. I have a portable charger with me if I am on a long ride so no problem there.

My hole life is about longboarding so I'm always looking for what I get to make my ride better and this is the number one thing I'm happy about getting. It has all the things I want to have in order to catch my highest speed and how far I went.

After a quick glance at the options SpeedTracker offers, I put to use even traveling with no cellular signal; it was right on cue. And after returning to my starting city, I bought the whole upgrade..

I use it on my motorcycles, very simple to use, has real-time details of your trip (Speed, Distance Traveled, Time Traveled, Map etc…) plus you can save your trip details for review at a later time. Thanks for keeping SpeedTracker going for so many years!

I have tried a few other speedometer apps but I have to say SpeedTracker is the best. What I like best about SpeedTracker is the trip log and it’s features such as the map views and being able to pause then resume your trip. Also it is very easy to use and I recommend SpeedTracker if you ride motorcycles often.

Thanks to SpeedTracker It has saved me from getting a ticket since I got bigger tires on my truck I didn't know I was sound almost 10 miles over what it was reading until I ran SpeedTracker , now I know how to keep it safe!

It's ok, would like have a digital speedo instead of the classic look or maybe just several options. GPS is misleading as it's just a map of your current position. I have to get out of SpeedTracker to see my actual gps.

I love SpeedTracker. I needed something to keep track of the top speed. So I strapped my phone down to my E-Revo and went as fast as I could and then just checked my phone after! Easy to use too!

Easy and intuitive to use. Useful for walking, driving, and flying. The maps are exportable and can be shared or imported into other map applications such as google earth.

I use SpeedTracker on my roads trips on my motorcycle. The speedo on my bike is way off as is the mileage. SpeedTracker gives me accurate information.

SpeedTracker does what it says it will do.

I just read a review complaining that some features have been removed from the free version. “Don’t expect me to pay for something I used to have for free...” Really? Do you seriously think that SpeedTracker did not cost time and money to create and to support? What does it cost? I believe it is four dollars. If you like it, buy it.

If you are not willing to pay less the cost of a modest lunch, you are a freeloader and you don’t deserve access to any of the features SpeedTracker is still offering in the “free” version. Just be grateful that they did not add a popup nag demanding that you buy SpeedTracker .
