PlanetCam is pretty cool. You can check out local or other city/state cams, rescue cams that aren’t privacy protected, and personal cams that aren’t privacy protected. Thankfully mine are privacy protected. But you can watch the traffic, ocean, pets or whatever camera isn’t privacy protected. Bad news is stalkers can check this out too. As far as other reviews about the FPS, PlanetCam doesn't have control over that. They are just showing cams that anyone can pull up. Whether it’s city, state, business or personal. The FPS is what they have for connectivity. I still think it’s pretty cool. I can watch all the ones I normally do, just here they are all in one spot. Keeping up with the traffic so I don’t get stuck sitting somewhere. And the oceans. Love to watch all the oceans.

100s to choose from but 99% of them are 0fps I seen one or two within 5 mins that are 2fps are these like $1 cameras? Edit: I see I was very rude sorry tried with wifi and not cellular worked like 15fps I’m very sorry once again and keep improving!

There are hundreds of webcams here to choose from—some 0 FPS and static, some not working, some junk (people’s backyards) and some awesome scenery from around our beautiful globe. With patience, you can find some interesting and beautiful views on PlanetCam. Developer, please note: Settings means “Settings”, not “Contact the Developer”. 5 Stars if the 0 FPS and other clutter could be cleared out. Otherwise, let us sort by FPS speed.

This is an awesome app and I love the different cams from around the world. My only problem is that some of the cams seem to not work or be in the wrong place, such as the Van Nuys cam, which is clearly in a different time zone than where the Van Nuys (in So Cal area) really is on. Looks to be an hour ahead.

Honestly it’s kinda scary to think that we could be being watched when we go out in public. I found a webcam of someone's kitchen and it looked like someone hid it there. Idk just think it’s freaky...

I think it’s fine guys. I saw a review where a guy said cameras need upgrading. The frick? Sorry whoever said that but PlanetCam didn’t plant those cameras they just have access. And there are some things they CANNOT fix. Like the fps or how long they are able to keep permission of some cameras. So seriously, it’s fine.

I like PlanetCam but I don’t love it. Here’s why. Sometimes they freeze (which I don’t really worry about) but on one of the Tijuana cameras all you can see is black and white with nothing. It is the one farther then the other cam closer to the wall. Could you fix it(or at least take it out?). :(

There is a problem with the downtown Tokyo camera. I’ve been unable to view it for the past week, since I’ve became a VIP member. The camera is featured and it was on of the main reasons I decided to buy this service. Please fix it or explain what’s going on. If you can’t get the video, take the picture down advertising it.

I like PlanetCam, as it’s really cool to be able to see different places all over the world. My issue with PlanetCam though are all the advertisements and how many cameras don’t actually load.

Still fun to use, just could use some cleaning up.

After i update PlanetCam is not workin and turn off completely, and i delate it and upload it again and still not workin and i restore the purchase and still not working, please fix the error and make another update with fixing the errors

Well considering that at least the camera for Riverside, Ca is definitely not a camera in Riverside, Ca and PlanetCam gives no way to correct such an error, nor is there a way to notify the developer in any way (that’s noticeable...tweeting really shouldn’t be a way to get app support, IMO) I’d have to say pass.

I love PlanetCam but since the update to 5.0, PlanetCam doesn’t load on my iPad so I delete PlanetCam , reload it and restore my purchase to retrieve my bookmarks. I do this every time I try to open PlanetCam . I’d like to load the previous version which had no issues.

I opened PlanetCam after downloading PlanetCam , and I found out after scrolling down pass four cams i seen cameras of other people in their own backyard. Your app is creepy

When I first found this site it had over 2000 cameras but since then it has dropped into the 1800s I wish some more would come back on.

I just down loaded this and went and chose what country then I opened the menu again and my screen is now black and if I touch it it goes to a Tahoe website so I either have a black screen to look at or the Tahoe ad

I am sorry to say PlanetCam it a waste of space on my phone. I clicked on my country and clicked on my city (Philadelphia) and it showed only one camera! It was a parking lot in south philly! All the cameras in the city of Philadelphia , PlanetCam only is showing 1. I understand I didn’t pay for the subscription I was the free one but really? Only one ?

I like PlanetCam, but it lags to much. I went to go look at something across the world and it crashed. this bug needs improvement.

At first this sounded really cool. Turned out the cameras can be viewed for about 5 to 10 seconds and then the application crashes. Fun to see the different places in the world for 10 seconds at a time though.

So, did the people being filmed consent to be on camera?? I would say not, yet they are being displayed on PlanetCam for the world to see. In many cases, I am concerned the persons being filmed are not aware of the nearby camera recording their image. PlanetCam and these cameras infringe upon decency and privacy IMO.

2 sec into looking for a camera, opening it for the first time and I get a pop up asking for my views on Trump, are you kidding? With NO X button to close the window without answering, yah I’ll pass on your app.
