It would be much appreciated by us in the world if we were able to listen to the liturgiae horarum liturgy of the hours that is broadcast thrice a day on Vatican Radio in Latin. I already use feedly app to receive the rss feed of these but it would be nice to receive them with alerts in the Vatican radio app.
To listen to the liturgy of hours chanted in latin everyday brings me peace in the world where the news tends to be negative or filled with angry opinions. I hope you can spread these to a wider audience and save more souls!

After forty years away, This little app brought me back to the Catholic Church. Each morning, I arose early and the first thing I did was open TheVaticanNews and read what the His Holiness had been doing with joy. I used this as my devotional.

Now there is a blank screen. I do not know why, but I only hope that the lack of updates is not caused by the twisted use of social media by a few misguided others.

Great, but when seeing the twitter add on window, if you view the popes tweets, and go to retweet it with your own account it always exceeds the character limit.... maybe due to the picture that is automatically added by your app? I cannot manage to fix it. Please correct this.

I can’t find any source to go easily to read the Pope’s actually homilies and addresses. The old Pope App had the tab “Words of the Pope”, which was the only thing I used it for. There are a million sources if I wanted to read Pope Francis reported on or summarized. (Which he really doesn’t need anyways.) What doesn’t exist is one where I can go directly to what he said, and if it’s not the Vatican app, then where?

TheVaticanNews Was much better.
The text has disappeared and the only thing that can really be enjoyed is the videos nothing else that matters is available.
I get better service from other sources then from TheVaticanNews. In my opinion it’s becoming useless.
I tried to delete it and download it again thinking that I might be a problem with an update. But nothing happened much to my disappointment.

Not working. Fix it, please.

I loved reading the Pope’s words filtered only through a translator. His words were unfailingly loving, relevant, and challengingly. Now there is only a blank screen. Does it need funding?

It's been a month without TheVaticanNews offering anything but a blank page. I ave greatly enjoyed its content and now miss it. I'll tried all I know to restore content. I hope you will do likewise. As it is , it is useless.

I used TheVaticanNews for years to read the daily tweet from the Pope. And now, nothing.
I’m not in social media because I despise it. Buy this was a good way to listen to God’s voice and find daily comfort.
I hope this can be fixed!

The home screen no longer fills in with the Vatican news. It’s just blank. I’m using the website now.

So very disappointed in TheVaticanNews . Over 2 weeks since it has any news of the pope. Always looked forward to his sermons. Please update it daily. Why is this happening??

The Home Button has not been displaying information for weeks.

Can’t get any sound from the videos. Will wait to see if you do a bug fix before I delete.

You’re better off with a daily google search than this. It’s a novel idea, but its not realized in any meaningful way.

I used TheVaticanNews to watch live feed of Pope Francis' election. And I look forward to how TheVaticanNews will unfold. May I just make the developers aware that on some pages the text cuts off at the bottom. What I mean is that scrolling down, the text box is too small for the number of words or lines it was meant to hold. Please correct this minor bug. Thank you.

TheVaticanNews RARELY works. Maybe once a month or so. That’s it. It’s bad. No updates. Seriously pass on this.

While I relish the connection and content, I am dismayed when perhaps once every four months or so, the ap hangs up, and goes to black screen. I then delete it with all the data saved, re download it from the ap store and usually it works again. This time it didn't. Bummer . I really liked and relished the ap!
An update:The latest version 8/7/14 or so is rather nice, but very slow to load, both on my iPhone and on my iPad mini. In fact there have been times when I give up because it has taken so long.
Please fix this. As I said at the top, I do relish the content, but the bugs are disenheartening.

Not the best name for TheVaticanNews since it what TheVaticanNews offers is really a great news and update feed about what the Holy Father is doing, including links to events, live broadcasts, text from homilies and speeches, images and links to other Vatican sites. Very good look and feel to TheVaticanNews and everything works well, have not noticed any issues at this point. I would suggest finding a better name for TheVaticanNews though, The Pope App does not convey the right tone. What about Vicar of Christ? That seems to more accurately imagine who the Holy Father is and the mission of the Church. Looking forward to using this daily. Thanks and God Bless the Holy Father and God Bless His Holy Church!

TheVaticanNews stopped loading the home page just before Christmas. It appears the Vatican redesigned the web site to be mobile friendly and I'm guessing they no longer need TheVaticanNews . The support link on TheVaticanNews Store takes you to the new site. It looks great
