🏷️ About:
Can't remember the rules? Need a quick refresher? Don't know what games you can play with 5 people? Bicycle® Brand is proud to present How to Play.
It's exactly what it sounds like: the complete rules to over 75 card games, new and old, written step-by-step.
I was very excited to find Bicycle, I think it is a great idea....however, it is very poorly written. Several games have sections of instructions that belong to a different game entirely. Others have missing parts, and still others are just confusing and misleading. I would expect more from this app.
Annoying shuffling sound can't be silenced

Loud annoying card shuffling sound each time you do anything. I can find no way to turn it down or turn it off. I am unable to use Bicycle unless this is fixed. I will keep Bicycle on my phone in hopes they will be an update to fix this within the next couple of weeks. If not it's bye-bye.
Needs more

Ive been wanting to learn and play some more card games with my kids now that they’re old enough. I downloaded this game after seeing a blog post explaining the game “golf” and purchasing some packs of this app cards, which advertised Bicycle . I looked up golf and there were instructions for six-card golf, but they were lacking in detail, even compared to the blog I read, which had much more in-depth explanation of the rules, along with variations. I then looked up Solataire, which I haven’t played in YEARS. I couldn’t remember some of the finer points. The instructions left a lot to be desired. In the case of both games, if I hadn’t already played or seen better instructions, I would’ve been totally lost. I think they could improve Bicycle by including a few pictures, especially of the setup of the initial playing area, etc. including rule variations would be great, too, since most games have them (ie. Growing up, I remember playing Solataire with the rule that you could only play a red on a black and vice versa and in the “Golf” version I initially saw, it was a nine-card version). Really, Bicycle had nothing I couldn’t find easier and with better detail online.
Needs Work

I love playing cards, and I'm always learning new games from books or other sources, so I was excited when I found Bicycle. I found, however, that while some instructions must be read once or twice to learn, others are poorly written, and no amount of re-reading them makes them understandable. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to learn something from an unreliable or inadequate source. Bicycle needs serious work in its explanatory section; it is currently unsatisfactory.
I like that there are a ton of options for games to play with other people when you have a deck of cards, but I think if these games were playable on devices through Bicycle would be exponentially better. I would like to be able to play some cribbage or hearts while I’m on the go but all on one app. I guess I’m looking for convenience which I think would also help the company.
Obvious rule sets are missing

Can’t find rules for Gin Rummy, and others. Love that Gin Rummy is called out in the developers description of Bicycle , yet Bicycle has no rules for it. Seems limited. What is there is good though. Just needs more rules before I keep this on my phone. Let me know when you get those in there
Gah! The noise!

Please add a setting to allow silencing the much too loud card shuffling noises, for each button press in Bicycle , without requiring us to silence our phone volume. I want to use Bicycle but quite frankly I am unlikely to use it if I have to remember to mute and then later un-mute my phone each time.
Free app with some issues.

Great idea, but there are tons of spelling mistakes. It doesn't seem like anyone did any editing or proof reading and just copied the game explanations from somewhere else. You would expect an app from this type of company to be much more polished than it is.
Really useful

It's great if you need to quickly look up rules, or if you need an idea for a card game.
The only improvement I'd like to see are more categories besides "Who's playing?" and "How many players?" Categories could include difficulty, type of game (trick based, gambling, matching, etc.) and country of origin.
I love Bicycle itself. The only issue that I have is that I would love them to have more game options. There’s not a lot of card games on there. Enough to satisfy me. But it could use a bit more. Most of the games that I know and love aren’t in Bicycle . If not all. But great app itself! You should get it!
Great app but one thing.

The only thing actually two things, i wish Bicycle would teach different shuffles, and it tells u the value of the cards but doesn’t tell which ones to deal.
Good App

I liked it. The games are fun but the shop icons didn’t seem to work. Overall a good app. Wouldn’t suggest it if you just want it to buy stuff quick, but really good way to learn new card games.
Like the new update.

I like the sleek new look of Bicycle . I also like the revamp of the game selection. Not sure if this is a mechanic, but a suggested game may also be good

I can't believe Bicycle isn't more popular, only a small amount of instructions are hard to read and I enjoy learning new games. Try it!

Agram is my new favorite game. I typically play a lot of cards with my siblings, and we love Bicycle. Who would have thought that Bicycle would teach us games from Niger.
There are so many games on here for all ages. If your looking for a new game or arguing about the rules this is the place to go. I wish more people would download it. It’s so useful.
