Very upset with FoodPrint change today. I have relied upon and recommended FoodPrint for years. I utilize it multiple times a day to keep track of my daily caloric intake for weight loss and weight maintenance. This morning’s update eliminated those features. I can still input the foods I eat (although the new format makes it difficult) but it’s not giving me an accurate calorie count and it’s not comparing it to my daily maximum goal at all anymore. Messed up my whole day... looks like I’m going to have to find a different app to track my meals. What a shame. 3 years of eating and logging and 50lbs down partially thank you to yesterday’s version of FoodPrint. Now lost. It’s been a day of mourning for me. Now I’m hungry and I don’t know if I can have 50 more calories of 300 more calories for the day.

The only foods displaying vitamins, minerals etc, are the ones already in their system. If you wanted to add your bcaas (for example) to see what your overall l-leucine levels are, you wouldn’t be able to. In fact, when inputting new food items, you’re only able to log in calories, fat, protein, and carbs. Forget about fiber, sugar, sat/poly/mono fats, cholesterol, sodium, potassium….
FoodPrint is extremely limited which kind of defeats its purpose as an app. There are way better food tracker apps out there, like My Macros. These developers should either get the full vitamins/minerals nutrients going, or move on from FoodPrint altogether.

I used FoodPrint for 3 weeks, then suddenly I open FoodPrint to a white screen and it is clocking. I thought it would come back, so after two days I deleted and reloaded it. Now it doesn’t recognize my login-I’d and password. I tried resetting my password. It says it has sent an email with a temp password. The email never showed up in my inbox, and yes I checked junk mail too. My advice, don’t waste your time putting all of your information in an app that is not stable or won’t be around for long.

I’m exploring different apps to use with my Apple Watch so I can have everything synced and in one place. I recently started working with a fitness trainer and serious about weight loss and getting in shape. I really want to like FoodPrint but I haven’t used it one full day and I’m ready to uninstall it. I’ve only entered one meal and it has continuously froze up on me with every single entry. Very frustrating

It’s easy for tracking items, but it doesn’t allow you to change oz to ml for fluid intake, and the buttons at the top and bottom seem to overlap with other boundaries because they are unresponsive most of the time unless you press it like a dozen times while moving your finger in a small circle. Garbage! It’s 90% annoyance and 10% utility.

App when started takes lot of time to sync and be ready. Sometimes, it shuts down by itself or hangs. FoodPrint consumes a lot of battery power as well. I am using the latest iOS version on iPhone 6s plus

I use FoodPrint daily to help show my doctors exactly what I eat in the times between seeing them but I could much better benefit from a category that is for INGREDIENTS that DID NOT work out. I found out I was allergic to the brand VQ, all dairy, and even so delicious cashew Icecream made me throw up. This would be great to mark the things already consumed as red if it didn’t work out instead of deleting it.

I honestly like FoodPrint but I have been looking for the perfect app, and I thought this would be it, but the fact that you have to pay for so so so much, is very upsetting, because I can’t find the right app to archive my goal 😔

I like the idea of taking a picture of the barcodes but not accurate enough. App seemed easy to use but still frustrated me so definitely a no-go for me. Not sure if I just didn’t find it or it didn’t offer it, but an overall glance at previous caloric intake on like a calendar would be a great addition.

I made the mistake of ordering a one month subscription to see if it adds value to a clunky, basic app. It doesn't. There are no prompts, reminders, notifications for motivation. The menus are meh. There's no clear path to the goals I set. Apparently these have been complaints for a long time and the developers have other priorities.

I rate this only a 3-star, the only reason is because for 2yrs now I have been using FoodPrint and I’ve requested for one thing which is Dark Mode and it still does not have that feature which makes no sense. Other then that I enjoy FoodPrint and the on

I’m really liking FoodPrint, however I’m not sure why it takes a long time for things to load and it randomly shutting down.
It’s a bummer but I’m still going to use it and see if a bug fix or enhancement can be made.

Says it connects to my Health app, but never does. Really frustrating. My steps are always wrong because it doesn’t interact properly.

So this really doesn’t talk to an insulin pump if you use Medtronic. Possibly using Dexcom and Animas, but I can’t speak to that. Without that functionality, FoodPrint is somewhat limited. It appears to be a good log, but the LoseIt app appears to have a far superior food database. However, FoodPrint does have huge promise and seems to work well. It can track insulin, interface with Carelink, track food, is compatible with Apple Health Kit, etc.

Suggestion: add more items to the “frequent items” list. My app only lists 7 items. Seems limiting 🙃
Opted for the premium version and so far totally worth it. An enhancement might be to add decimals to the weight tracking. Even small incremental weight loss is encouraging. 😉

I usually don’t write reviews for apps, but FoodPrint is good enough that it deserves one! It can track how much calories, carbs, and fat you take in. For example, I recently typed in ‘Subway’ to log in my lunch. They had over 59 items just from subway each with the exact amount of carbs, calories, fat, etc! Not to mention you can also connect to app like Apple Health and FitBit! If you are looking for an AWESOME app that helps you be healthier, then this is the way to go!

Been using FoodPrint for the last 6 month. I've lost 11 pounds and gained a lot of insights about my eating habits.💪👍👌

I've been using FoodPrint, which talks to my insulin pump and helps me analyze the how the foods I eat affect my blood glucose. I've given it a solid workout over the last three months with excellent results. My A1C is normal and I've even lost weight. It takes a bit of practice to retrieve some meals and I hope they continue to add to the database.

I have been in a wheelchair for years now and I now feel like I have got to the point where I need to start tracking what I eat and when I eat it and also it helps that I can track my medication as well and show when I take my medicine also put it in after the fact if I don’t have my phone right there when I’m taking it

I accidentally bought the 1 year subscription plan instead of reading more about it. I tried cancelling it but it still went through and all I want is my money back
by Mom2Ashleigh
This has great potential but there are not enough foods. I’m a picky eater and even after selecting my foods I don’t like, the meal plan still included them. Also, there are no restaurants available in my area even though some are chains.
by Diazsp
Will FoodPrint track added sugar separately from total sugar if I upgrade?
Can I add supplements under medication tracking that aren’t already in your database?
by Jjnikkijj
Please help! I accidentally subscribed to FoodPrint and had no intention of doing so. I’m still getting used to my new phone! Please tell me I can receive my money back!
by Bassettdude
I like the program though some name brand foods are missing. But the worst is I can’t sync my LibreLink with FoodPrint.
