Block Fortress Reviews

Ok first thing I’m going to say is the fact that you can’t unequip Items and block off your inventory, which means you can’t use the turret or equipment spawners which really bug me, and even if there is a way to use them, it never tells you how. There are no tutorials or anything. You could try whatever the hell you want and you’d never figure out. And the fact that you can’t save your companions for if you get a new phone and wanted to play with sniper bot you’d need to buy it again. There is also no info on everything important such as the fact that there are guns inside the barracks, and that you used or could be able to go inside the barracks as well. All of this is figured out by players and is never told in tutorials which is why it just makes me want to completely just make sure it never exists in my phone. Maybe if you’d fix this it would probably go up in players.

I was playing on easy survival and had a pretty good house and $2 worth of rare minerals in turrets, but I couldn't get past the night where the cloaked guys come out, it's really hard, and I've tried several methods to complete it. Every previous wave was relatively easy but this one was seemingly impossible with my layout. It was really fun but not worth my precious $2, because there's not really an objective or story other then to survive long, and money and minerals aren't easy to get when it costs to receive, and your spending money on defending yourself anyways.

Hey forsaken media it really time to get your game on you need to add npc soldiers armed with guns they will help you defend against the goblock army this would give other players the ability to build there own armies from spawners and create mass scale battles in the game and the game would have more action. This would be a great update in the future.
The update would include npc soldier spawners with guns
And tank spawners(if you can)these npc would be a great alternative to robots so players have more help with defence. It would be a really cool update.😃

One: this game is great. But only up to a point. It's that point where people need better online features like friends and squads.

Two: random blocks on my worlds floor is deleting itself randomly. I've completely covered the terrain in tech metal 2 and it's deleting itself in random spots no matter how many times I save the world before getting off. I have a massive tower with bridges touching the sides of the level with more towers under the bridges. Are the blocks deleting themselves because I'm at the block limit? If so then maybe tell me what the block limit is and when I've reached it so I'm not wasting my time. This is an important problem that must be fixed.

Three: the minerals aren't to hard to get, but need to be a tiny bit easier to get. This is just my opinion, but I'm mentioning it for consideration if this comment is read.

It’s a good game really but the game is missing a new weapon and I have an idea for a new weapon and it is the Incinerator basically a better flamethrower it has a shorter reach but does more damage than the original flamethrower and has more fuel but takes a lot longer to refuel the ammo but it could overheat and have to cool down . That’s what it would do and here’s how it would look it would have a fuel tank on your back and a hose connected to the actual part that spews flames and that part would look like a Vex or a WW1 or WW2 style flamethrower. “I don’t know if I am pronouncing this right”

I love this game. Been playing it ever since I was kid and still playing to this day.

I also play another game of yours, Block Fortress: War. With the introduction of the three new races-Blockbots, Zomblocks, and Blockoids-you should incorporate them into this game as well. There could be a menu where we can select what kind of enemies we want to defend against.

Each enemy present their own unquiet challenges:

Goblocks- Standard enemies

Zomblocks- While they don’t have any range units, they attack in massive hordes, with some units-like Radioactive-being impervious to range weapons and some units-like Brute-being near impossible to kill.

Blockbots- Advance enemies that attack in considerable numbers and are high mobile due to their zero gravity propulsion. Each Blockbot carries a deadly array of advance ranged weaponry.

Blockoids- While they attack in very few numbers, they are the toughest enemies to face. Each godlike unit carrying a massive arsenal on them. These enemies will require players to throw everything in their arsenal at them just to bring a single Blockoid warrior down.

Heck, why not even allow us to defend against fellow Block Men.

Block Men- These enemies attack in moderate numbers and are easiest to kill. However, they carry a variety of long range weapons. From devastating machine guns and sniper rifles, to destructive grenade launchers and rocket launchers. These enemies are not to be underestimated.

Love the game!! Wish i could play it tho :/ my saves only work 1/8 of the time. Whenever i exit BlockFortress it puts me back a few hours of gameplay
:( thats too big of a draw back for me to continue playing 😓 im still trying everything i can to fix it but nothing seems to work! Please look into this :)
Also this game could use some in app purchase canpaigns and marketing aswell as more frequent updates to get it wuring on the appstore again! Its deffinitly a gem!

this game is amazing but there is one big issue I have with it. I bought the attack bot for 99¢ and after I was done I put the game down. I got in the next day and it said that I never bought it even though I spent the money I even checked my purchase history for proof it went through. Please fix this bug the game is amazing otherwise.

I just came back to this game after a year and I'm once again caught up in it. My favorite things to do in it are the co-op missions. The graphics are good, there are lots of options for base customization, and you can overall do a lot in this game. For sure worth the money, and the best part is it's not pay to win even though it has in app purchases.

I highly recommend this to play with your friends.

Whenever I upload a map that I created to play on the arena mode, the map will load and then not show the other person(s) as choosing their weapons to spawn with. Then, when I try to start it, the game will crash and kick me out. Is this fixable? Please try to resolve this, I would very much like to create bases to play on, and cannot until this is working properly. Thank you.

The gameplay is excellent! Each beginning round gets you to think about what you'll need for the future. Be it upgrades to your blocks and items, your inventory, or maybe a different base strategy. I've gotten pretty good at the game, but after they removed crouching I noticed that it was a lot harder to get into your base after the enemies broke in. Despite that, it's still playable and very enjoyable. Just wish there were more people on global.

I’ve downloaded this tower defense game a few years ago before multiplayer was added and it is still making me addicted when I start playing it again. Even though I enjoy trying to survive as long as I can, I wish I was able to find others online despite the age of the game and a new game related to this coming out soon. If other players were to come back or download this game for the first time experiencing solo and online play, it won’t fail to impress.

This is a hell of a game. It does what it’s trying to do incredibly effectively and the minerals and tech slots for stuff really makes it a long-lasting experience. However, with that comes the grind. It’s fun building a good base and whatnot but generally even on the highest levels of defense, there’ll be some rocket dudes that’ll be out of range at night, forcing some interesting strategies that just feel inconvenient I guess... definitely fun and worth the time, but progression also stalls after a bit. Great game though.

This is one of my favorites games ever! I have always love the idea of turrets and this game is what I wanted. I could go on and on why but that’s not what these are for. I REALLY want a new update that’s not a bug fix! Bug fix are important but that’s the only update I’ve seen since I’ve been playing. I know y’all were making new games like Empires, and who knows what y’all are making now, but still a update would be Amazing. Imagine a guided rocket launcher turret , or more robot that you can unlock without money.
Here’s some ideas, including what I just said:

1: Robots. Just add more robots. It doesn’t matter if it cost, or doesn’t cost money (though I would rather you have unlockable ones) but I want more. Like the saw robot from Empires, or a landmine placing robot.

2: traps. Basically, just different kinds of landmines. Like one that pushes enemies back, or some that turn a enemy to your side.

3: NPCs. What if you could hire NPCs for you like the robots. I doubt you would add this but I think it cool.

4: Turrets. Last but not least, more turrets like:

1: turrets from your other games.
2: rocket or guided rocket launcher.
3: a big turret that takes up 4 blocks like an auto cannon.
4: a better version of the machine gun and 50 cal (which btw is a machine gun in real life)

Etc.... . . . . .

Ok look, some of you are probably asking:”why tho?” Well its because there is nobody playing online! I bet if the developers made ads for THIS GAME we would have more people playing online! Now i know there is a problem with ads...it drags in players who are super bad at games or just dont know what they are doing but it would be nice to play with other people! I have introduced my friends to this game but they say no to it...so just make some ads? Make the games presence known...thank you for your time...

I was scrolling down the comments when I saw a comment that said,add Ads For the Game,So that It can spread more easier,for one thing,you can’t use make a video of it And post it as an ad for free (I think) You have to pay for ads,And they people from the game to buy Stuff which costs real money so they can make ads,I don’t think they would make ads anyways,I don’t think the company Is hungry for more players and to put in cheezy ads Like idle hero’s,Litteraly,I can’t go for 2 seconds on another Game with ads from them.

This game is amazing overall, but I’d like to request one thing. I deleted the game a while ago for space and re-downloaded it only to discover that my progress was all lost (I reached level 55 and unlocked everything in the game). I checked my game center achievements and they were in tact and restored my purchases, but my in-game data was lost forever. The worlds I uploaded are still there but I no longer have anything I worked so hard to get. I was hoping that with this review, you’d add an option that saves accounts or user activity.

this game has been here for most of my childhood and it was very fun chances are your not reading this but please make a block fortress 2 or continue to work on this one I would love to see what kind of stuff you will come up with and your probably a small group of people or just 1 person making these games I’m not asking for it to be make within the next week I’m asking if you can work on this game whenever you have free time so that eventually all that small amount of time a week adds up and makes the game much better

I’ve been playing this game since an iPhone 4 and I’m on an 8 now (you do the math). I’ve played countless games from BlockFortress Store but this remains old faithful. I enjoyed that my game progression carries over through each iPhone and even to my iPad. The replay value of this game is what makes it a legend. I decided to write a new review (may be my second?) of this game as I’m still amazed at the enjoyment I receive. Updates are sporadic since the early days but I’ve never encountered any issues through each new iOS. I’m hoping Foursaken will continue to update or make an eventual sequel. I won’t hold my breath since they have so many other games they are making now. As for the content/context of this game: just download and you will see why this game is so amazing.

Amazing game, but it won’t let me save my matcha or level. Restoring doesn’t fix it.

I love the game, but it won’t let me save any games that I do. Nor will it save my level. Please fix this as this is one of my favorite games on mobile and I would really love to be able to actually play it.
