These game fails to mention that it 100% PVP and pay to play. They do not mention this in any of there game introductions you think your playing a zombie survival game. The rewards given for free are cheap and worthless 90% of the time. The game openly breaks its own terms of service agreement for players that spend money if your VIP2 or higher this is the equivalent of spending $10,000+. You can request to have an alliance in duel or dimensions, that are not normally with your servers strongest alliance tournament. they turn the other cheek for account sharing at this level of VIP status. Even though there terms of service states that it is prohibited. There is no balance in the game, only spend more money is the only thing that will balance your game play.

Short version of you have money the developers love you if your a free to play player your nothing to them. This game is broken half of the time your trucks get stuck in open world and disappear, rewards for completing task go missing, one time the developers messed up so bad and allowed the players to double click rewards, the developers lock the players accounts until the players paid money for the extra rewards received or they wouldn't get there accounts back try to say they used a hack. purchase packs and never get them, wait hack. purchase packs and never get them, wait 6 days for a refund only to get Outland coins that can only be used in game. Just ridiculous non-sense. Run from this game.

Downloaded this game to play with my wife. For some reason it put us both in different “zones” and if you are in a different zone as someone you can’t relocate to that zone, you can’t join their clan, you can’t do anything together. When I contacted customer service to ask for a zone change to her area I continued playing the game. Well it took customer service 4 days to get back to me and they claimed that because I continued playing the game they no longer were going to be able to change my zone. They literally told me if I want to go to a new area I need to go to my account settings and start a new game wiping everything I did. Extremely angry, wasting my life, I decided to wipe my account and start again hoping to just play with my wife. Guess what happened… I had to go through the entire tutorial again and when that was over found out I’m still not in the same zone as her! Awful!! Trash customer support and the game is filled with bugs. Why they didn’t just move zones for me who knows. They caused tons of stress over something so trivial and convinced me to wipe all of my progress in the HOPES that I would get a chance to play with my wife.

The game is easy to play but it is NOT a zombie survival game. Rather, it is a pvp game with player vs player, and alliance vs alliance. Daily events repeat every week so it is easy to plan for them. Some events repeat once per month. The only place this is a zombie survival game is the weekly event where the game npc zombies kill all your troops. You cannot stop them and they keep auto attacking your base until all your troops are dead. At level 24 that means 6 days of healing and missing the next two day’s events unless you are willing to pay to heal troops. The major problem is that every month the game resets and wipes out all your progress and then you must start over. For this reason alone the game is not worth your time or money to play. The second problem is that two in game currencies (Z coins and Momento coins) are required in huge quantity which makes the game pay-to-play. You can play free but cannot advance fast enough before the monthly game reset wipes out your progress. Also, there are some things that are not available unless you spend cash to get them (special buildings and heroes). With every reset, the game becomes more pvp war all the time. There is no effective way to protect your troops. Unless you can spend lots of money and be on 24/7, and love to nothing but pvp, then the game is not for you.

This game is far from anything that is even advertised. The developers allow and encourage hate speech and bullying from pay to play members. When support was contacted multiple times and given many screenshots as proof they immediately did nothing saying “it’s the game”. So unless you plan to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund hate speech and bullying then I advise you do not play this game. These pay to play members stick together and use vulgar hate speech at anyone who is not throwing thousands of dollars at the game everyday. They will take everything away from you so you can’t even play the game. It’s a form of cyber “jumping” hundreds of players against 90 people or less. There is no diplomacy in the game except between pay to play members. If they are allied to each other and you are not a pay to play member then they refuse to communicate with you or allow you to play the game leaving many abandoned accounts behind. The developers support and encourage this behavior because they refuse to permanently ban the accounts of those who are breaking game rules. Those players who break the rules are the ones funding the game and lining the pockets of the developers. The game developers already received all the money they can from these players as they have hit the ceiling and can’t level up any further so why not ban them????

I went to them with a problem, and they basically called me a liar. Something I literally saw with my own two eyes, yet they come back and say it couldn’t have happened. So don’t contact them with issues, they don’t resolve them. They just give you some generic response. The game started fun. I developed quickly, I am in the strongest alliance in my server, and I am a top 10 player in that alliance only because I spent quite a bit of money. No matter what they may tell you, you have absolutely no fighting chance if you do not spend money and join a strong alliance. This is from the perspective of someone who spends money, and is a very strong player in the stage of the game I am in. I feel bad having to hit the same players over and over because you have to “farm” to be competitive and build up resources. It can be very toxic, with a ton of bullying and perverted comments as well. I’m not really a “gamer”, so this world is relatively new to me, but I really enjoyed it at first. If I could I would just get all my money back and delete my account. On top of the glitches and lagging I’ve experienced, the terrible customer service I experienced today was it for me. I lost items that I purchased for a lot of money. I will be contacting my credit card company tomorrow to at least recover some of the money I wasted on this game.

I’m in a 4.6billion alliance that has been around since the beginning. Myself I’m a mid level spender. I’ve been playing for well over a year now . I sit around 60million cp with a maxed line 1 (full level 30red gear ) Dino’s are level 14 and 11 . The game as always encourage spending to be a decent level always are going to be whales though and that was fine . Unfortunately though I recommend to everyone considering stop playing after season 7 or when you gain access to buri and chu . From that point forward the game will only honor the ones who are spending $3000 to $4000 a month on the game . We just finished having the second round of the “boys event “ where the prices nearly doubled for those heros . Several weeks later here we are they are about to release new heros , a new Dino that can really only be bought , new gear specific to certain heros , much like casino, Dylan and the boys heros . This game is a fun game in the beginning even reasonable on prices but that all goes away . I’m actually surprised the big spenders have not started to leave . The developers have been getting these messages and yet continue to raise prices and only release pay to play items .it sad actually . So again RUN from this game do not download or you may be wondering where all your money went . I won’t even comment on how unbalanced the season become .

I thought this game would be different from other micro transaction games, but was slightly wrong. It’s way worse. Not only will you have to pay money to progress, but you will have to pay large sums to do so. They only players that have success on this platform are spending $100’s of dollars each day. This sounds like a lot, but they cost of items are ridiculous. Example, to attack a city requires fuel. After 24 hours your fuel should be full, 15/15. If you run out, it cost $20 to get 5 fuel. If you lose your supporting troops, it takes 8 hours to get 45 returned. 45 out of 2,000. You can speed it up by paying $100 for a diamond pack that allows the 45 to be done instantly. Once again, 45 out of 2,000. If you are not willing to spend this money, you get steamrolled by other players who are willing to replenish their entire 2,000 support troops, for however much it costs. In short, the costs are too high to really participate, unless you spend a couple hundred dollars every week. I’d rather play Clash of Clans. I hate Clash of Clans.

It was cringey enough that so many of the character fighters have remarkably racist troupes, but then you get to the part where you join alliances with other players and well… an entire group named after a right wing conspiracy theory had taken over half the map by destroying smaller factions. I tried to point out it was ruining the game and that the name had problematic origins and everybody turned. It’s been a nightmare to deal with and totally sapped my energy. People are using slurs and hate speech in the chat, there are zero ways to combat bullying. Oh and btw, they seemingly stopped properly translating half way through game development, so it gets really confusing. Literally all of them tried to make fun of my dog? (Was just an ai images but it’s still weird to bully a dog!) this game has potential but 1) it really really doesn’t need to be so interactive/social, war games and social grouping gets racy fast and 2) maybe hire actual people who belong to the groups you try to represent so you don’t wind up with a white woman dressed as an Indian chief doing a voodoo dance…. And 3) for the love of god, get some quality control

So I’ve been playing for about 2 years. Although I did enjoy the game what kills it is the overpowered player that is always in you block. The one that seems to have everything soon as anything is released. Well that is because it is a developer account. They are planted in every server block to create conflict. Target spenders in battles to force spenders to keep investing more and more money thinking that they might one day beat the other guy. This is flat out bullying from the devs forcing people to spend recovering for targeted attacks. Not to mention the dev playing turns a blind eye to all the toxic cyber bullying that happens within the alliance they are playing. It is also benefiting all those members in that alliance from all the rewards etc gained from the fact this dev gets anything at a click of a button. I have a developer targeting my alliance. He has everything in game always instantly and on top of that hero that are not released in our block and last night admitted he is indeed a developer.

Do not play this game. You will come head to head with a developer that will destroy everything and everyone in you block because they can unless you are lucky enough to be in their alliance all for the purpose to force people to keep spending to try to survive. Devs are greedy, lying cheaters exploiting players. It is unfair and unbalanced game play and in any other game is simply called admin abuse.

After playing this game and coming from an underdog to #4 in my current server. I can finally give an honest review. This game is very much PAY to win and truly is unfair. Once you get to the part where you must join alliances and work with people.. you realize how much bigger this game is. I have made so many friends across the world and I love the community of the game. However, you have the biggest bullies who are the top dogs and high levels who run the show. Why? Because they paid to get there- hundreds spent to level up quick. In Season 0 there should be no reason a fortress is at level 21 while most of your players who don’t pay are at average level 14-16 max. Understand that it takes days to level up and tons of gathered resources just to level up each time. So it should take you weeks and weeks to be at level 21. That shouldn’t even be possible to be at level 21 in season 0. Also, please be very aware that this game is full of adults and the bullies sexually harass women and ask for nudes 24/7. They will even burn down your alliance for saying no. I was enjoying the game so much and have worked so hard to get my team as far as we could go but the server is becoming dead due to extreme uneven power balance and bullying. You just can’t advance anymore after a certain point unless you spend money. I am contemplating leaving the game and that says a lot since I have made many new friends and am #4 in the server.

It’s very much like Fallout Shelter in many MANY ways so much that you have to wonder how Bethesda isn’t looking.. decided to give it a go, lots of glitches, to include one where the speed up screen showed the speed ups bought with diamonds were taking time off, but when I exited the speed up screen the timer had not moved much at all. Contacted customer service and they looked into it and essentially told me it didn’t happen. Definitely a scam, needs removed from App Store. Edit for dev reply: If you read my review you would know I have already contacted y’all for help and was told it didn’t happen.. don’t tell people to go through proper channels when their complaint IS your customer service through PROPER CHANNELS. I uninstalled the game, reinstalled, eventually had to remove permission from using my Apple ID in order to delete the account. Your game is not brand new, it’s pieces of other games put together and the servers are pretty empty in comparison to other games, I tried several without linking an account to see if it’s the game or that server. It’s the game. Money sucking scam, not much of a game.

You’ll love this game. It will let you play for free, making near zero progress, while big spenders will keep destroying you. If you spend literally hundreds of dollars you “might” be able just to keep up. I sometimes wonder if devs have people playing with unlimited resources just to get players to spend.
You will have your own shelter that requires daily log in and updates to maintain. Real money will buy you robots that help some. Soon though other players will attack you, and your only survival is to join an alliance. They require daily and dues check in or be booted from alliance. That alliance will need to join a larger group of alliances (No Attack Policy NAP) for survival. Then, smaller players get booted, usually F2P (Free to Play) players first. Later, should you make it this far, expeditions, missions, etc that are “required attendance at certain hours) will be forced on you, or be booted.
Then try deleting your account. Not happening. You must go through a charade of required “processes” that make you check back repeatedly, as much as 30 days!
Run away, don’t even try this game. Unless you Rea rich and want to be quickly separated from your money.

Ive been playing the game for a while now and I had loved it… until the last update. Now the game crashes at random, when i logon my account goes back to before the update. I have to repeatedly hit repair while the game crashes over and over. It will say that my account is unlinked when it is actually linked. It wont let me get into the events tab. It wont let me upgrade my facilities or heros (the ones that dont need to be ascended or breakthroughed) I tried writing to support and they are no help whatsoever even though I have provided screenshots of what it does as well as a video. Ive tried reinstalling, ive tried different wifi networks, ive tried unlinking and linking again, ive cleared the cache. This glitch is horrible. Before the update, the game was great. Yes there were some people that paid to play and that sucked but as long as you were in a strong alliance, they stayed away.

UPDATE: looks like another boxed response from the developers. I am an R4 with a level 6 alliance. My cp is 4.8 mil. The last game update has made me lose precious time and resources, yet i get a boxed response from the devs. If you have any issues with the game its better if you figure it out yourself.

At first this game was great and wonderful. Fast forward 60 days later and it turned into a toxic nightmare. The Korean alliances on this game are racist and spend like there is no tomorrow. No amount of negotiation with them was possible until they wiped everyone off the map. Their constant toxicity and racism was bad enough but even worse is there is no spending cap so even though we were the best alliance they literally had one player not a single person could touch. He was invincible and he destroyed everyone. This game is trash because of the toxicity and Koreans making it unplayable. The pay to win is awful - I spent $2,000 and still could not compete with many pay to win players. I recommend no one play this game and request a refund just like I did. This game is unplayable and every server is dominated by a racist, nationalist Korean alliance. Save your time and money and do something else.

Update: developer responded to my review and basically told me to be better and join an alliance. Since the inception of the server I was a top 10 player in the rankings and my alliance was the #1 alliance the whole time. They need to put a cap on spending to slow the progression of insane spenders. The fact 1 player can destroy an entire server alone is ridiculous.

This is an amazing game. I have only played for about 3 months but, for the most part, it is great. With that being said, the other players/alliances make it unbearable. There are bullies who gang up on all smaller farms and continually take what they want. You pay money to buy certain things, then a bigger alliance comes along and takes it all. There is no way for an individual player to play the game in peace because they are always spending money or time to recover from what others have taken. I am tired of wasting money on something not even playable. I am hoping Apple will refund what I’ve lost as it is nothing but thievery. ___________________________________________ I appreciate your response but these players are attacking strictly because someone in my alliance said something that was translated incorrectly after they attacked us the first time. They are not doing this in fair play, we are being attacked because they can. And it is never ceasing. It is ridiculous. I was relocated 5 different times yesterday from being attacked while not even online. They do it because they can and I have invested too much real money into buying resources for them to come and steal it. Please do something about the annihilation of smaller alliances trying to make their way in the game.

The end game is a matter of who can pay the most and not any actual strategy to even out the playing field. One very strong alliance will dominate the map and there is nothing you or your alliance can do about it because the players are too strong to fight back.
Your fortress will get constantly farmed by these alliances, setting you back days at a time just to recover your lost troops. Of course the devs canned response will be to just join a stronger alliance. So your only choice will be to join the same alliance that’s been bullying everyone on the server in the end. Once you do that the game becomes incredibly boring. There is no challenge, no strategy, no diplomacy. Only strong players who will zero out everyone with no possible way of them fighting back. There is no fun or challenge to it and the game becomes repetitive, uneventful, and dull.
Most players are nice and I have made some good friends but there are also extremely toxic players. Several of my alliance members quit due to this. Reports go unanswered because they will of course turn a blind eye to those who spend more money than you do on the game.
Save your time and money. There are plenty of other games with premium options that are more balanced and enjoyable. Do not reward games like this that make everything you do in game completely pointless if you’re not willing to compete with whales.

Be prepared to pay a lot for upgrades and resources. The developer has everyone in their pockets. Brand new players somehow pop up with top tier teams that annihilate everyone and dominate servers. This forces other players to buy stuff to recoup their losses. The game provides no way to avoid harassment, targeting or bullying by ultra powerful alliances. The weaker alliances will eat their own to appease the power alliance, so there is no way to achieve anything by just game play alone. The world chat on many servers is full of perverted discussions where the girl gamers tease the boys at every chance. I played for 2 months and it was a waste. I definitely would never recommend this game to anyone. This developer is greed driven and I will no longer support their unethical business practices. As for their canned copy and paste responses saying that you can do task and join alliances. They daily to mention that you’ll be attacked repeated for those resources and have no way to defend them. Power players take it all and then only way to progress is to buy stuff. How convenient. Worst part is that the purchased stuff can also be taken, which is borderline theft. No other game I play has me pay for resources and then allows other players to take them all. There is no limit. Makes harassing others when you’re a power player way too easy.

Game has a lot of activities to keep you busy but in the end, it’s another P2W clone that encourages PvP. Any game that asks you to join an alliance then has weekly “alliance duels” is encouraging you to spend lots of money to keep up. This seems to be a trend now. Come up with cool looking ads that has nothing to do with actual gameplay, and set up game environment and competition to encourage players to spend money to kill one another. This game also allows players on much older servers and higher levels to come once a week to farm you. Players have their entire armies and resources, which takes weeks to build, wiped out in a few minutes. Sure, you can get a shield, but it is incredibly expensive compared to other P2W games. Each 8 hour bubble is 1000 diamonds or $20 to buy. It may be fun for a few weeks, but if you’re not willing to spend a lot of money, you’re going to stagnate and be cannon fodder to attract whales that spend $hundreds a day. I’m watching this happen right now in real time. So disappointing.

Edit: We we’re matched with an alliance from another server with 2x the combat power. Of course everyone is being zeroed out by a few higher level players. This is repetitive and tiresome. Again, the game is set up so a few whales that spend lots of money can kill slightly lower players easily. From the dev’s replies, keeping big spenders interested is the only thing that matters, fair gameplay be damned.

This game is run by whales (large spenders to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars in spending) who organize their own group then create ‘ally’ groups that collude to control the game and shutout/starve any other groups. If you join one of them then you can follow along like a good sheep otherwise you will be food non-stop every hour every day every week etc. This is a pay-to-win game and if you are not prepared to spend hundreds of dollars every month then you will fall far behind. This is important because the whales keep track of every sheep’s scores to tier the reward levels. So if you are not spending big you will have low weekly scores and get the lowest rewards. The whales also “recommend” packs to buy every day typically via Discord. There are also several ‘creative’ ways that are taught to manipulate the points earned and resources also via Discord. Sheep who do not comply with the requests of the whales are kicked out made focused targets of for non-stop around the clock attacks. Sheep who attempt to rename and/or change servers are researched and their new information published. And to to it off the in game translation is horrible. Don’t waste your money.

Update: Developer sent me what looks like a canned reply that did not address anything I have mentioned. Nothing that has happened since my initial review has changed to make me change my review.

THIS GAME WOULD BE AWESOME EXCEPT it really isn’t because it actually requires not hundreds but , for real, thousands of dollars to play.

If you do not have at least 10 thousand dollars to drop on this game then don’t play this game. You can’t get anywhere in it past season 2. There are 10 seasons. By season 5 you will have invested at least 4 thousand dollars. Just to keep up in the game. For example, I’m in season 6 and want a character named Chu. I have spent 6 hundred dollars so far to try to get her. You have to use “chance tickets” to get her. The game developers allow you to buy a 50 dollar costume for her ahead of time. I wrote the developers saying I think I might be having a problem with getting her because a single character shouldn’t cost over 5 hundred dollars. They wrote me back saying sorry it’s my “fault” and please enjoy the game. So the bad balancing system of percentages of chance draw of the characters with the ticket system in the game “they” designed is “my fault” by their definition. If you want to be told that their bad game design abilities are YOUR FAULT then download it. That’s a HongKong studio for you. They even hide behind European sales studio fronts. Look it up, I did. Is this a game you wish to play. If so enjoy. In addition, they segregated all players with what they call “language chat”. Prejudiced. Enjoy.

I’ve been playing this game for five months, and I really enjoy many elements of the game, especially the heroes. My only issue is that game balance in pvp is incredibly unfair as there are “whales” who spend tens of thousands of dollars who are untouchable on early servers. My issue is that it just feels incredibly unfair and several of our alliance members have quit in the last month because they felt like all their hard work was useless.

I do think it’s fair that these whales should be strong, after all they’ve spent so much money on the game. But I do not believe it’s a good gaming environment if the developers throw game balance out the window as these top players can destroy entire servers by themselves. For example at the battle for Eden last season, one player from the opposing alliance was able to eliminate 50 players in one battle. Many of those 50 players have even spent thousands of dollars to be strong, yet nothing mattered against this individual as he had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on upgrades which were implemented as a literal win button.

Overall, stay away from this game. You will only have fun if you drop thousands of dollars, and eventually your server will be solely comprised of high spenders as everyone who doesn’t spend quits. If you do play, be careful of falling into the trap of perpetual spending.

Same old, same old. Spend money (BIG MONEY) to get ahead in the game. Devs tell you you can play without paying, and that is true, what they dont tell you is that while you are busy NOT paying you (and your alliance) is on fire everyday from being raided by those who DO spend money. So if you dont have the game, be warned that not spending money will put you so far behind the paying players, you will never catch up, you will get disenfranchised with the game, and you’ll probably trash it. If you are lucky enough to be an Asian player (reading, writing, speaking) you can join one of the top alliances since they tend to be the ones spending those BIG dollars. And some of them only take you IF you are their ethnicity.

How does a NON paying player compete with a big spender?
When a big spender has a BRAND NEW, JUST RELEASED HERO, at a 3star rainbow, level 100 with full BRAND NEW, JUST RELEASED GEAR, at level 20 on the SECOND DAY they are released…… Explain to me just how a non paying player competes with that??
Make this game a one time $99 dollar purchase, then require players to RESOURCE, BUILD, TRADE, UPGRADE everything. NO PURCHASING combat points! Until then, it will always be a game for the big money players.

In a nutshell: spend all day watering the crops, killing things, collecting coal, collecting iron, collecting food. Build up defenses. Then watch as others with much higher levels kick the crap out of your fortress. Many times while you are not on line playing. Spend all your meds to repair your troops, only to have another playiner kick the crap out of you while you are trying to recover. Game pretty much ends at level 17, because you will never stay healthy enough to move up unless you pay real money to buy the needed items. I take it back, the fidget toy is more fun. Update: still stuck at level 17! App says I need 26K rocks, but no room left in storage to save enough rocks to upgrade. Plus I have gathered a LOT of useless crap that I can’t get rid of. Last update: Ending level was level 17 Wanted to level up, BUT NO WAY TO DO IT! Level 18 requires more iron and rock than the storage will hold! Can’t level up the storage until the control center is upped. Can’t store enough supplies to level up the storage center.

I quit! I am stuck at level 17 for over 6 months. Need to upgrade Storage, but can’t until I upgrade control center. Can’t upgrade Control Center until I can store 26K stone. Can’t store that many until I upgrade Storage? This game is the definition of stupidity: doing the same thing over and over and over….

After much review of this game there are some small issues and large issues that should be fixed to improve overall game play. Let’s start with the small issues the game interface slightly buggy and lags even with the best equipment. This can be fixed. Pay to win plays strong in this game and the rates for upgrades are far above what similar games of this caliber are charging. This can also be fixed by dialing it back or increasing game play value. At the current value and game play you will have difficulty retaining players. Also, listen to the other reviews, resources that are purchased should not be available to another player if they choose to raid the customer paying for that upgrade. Those practices will break a customers trust in a product. The last major issue to look at is alliances. If you investigate as I did you find that there is a central alliance across all levels of this game. This alliance uses slightly different names but part of a larger group. This group only accepts people of a certain demographic and preys on others that are not in that demographic. In a time where inclusiveness is a major issue this will cause a product to hemorrhage potential customers at an alarming rate. This is also a simple fix that many other more popular games have addressed by regional grouping. I do this for a living for many other companies and normally charge for this type of advice, but this is a freebie. Take it or leave it that’s up to you.

This game is free, and you don’t have to spend any money to play it, but if you don’t want to spend the entire time getting your base and territories destroyed, spending money to get ahead is the only way. It’s really sad. I enjoyed the game at first when it had a story and it was actually about fixing up your fortress. Now that that’s over, it’s just a PVP game. I’m not in a big alliance(which is how I like, I don’t like being in a large alliance where they have ridiculous extra stipulations or you get kicked out) and we got pitted again one of the biggest ones in the “toughest alliance duel” and within 5 minutes they captured our measly 3 territories and destroyed all our bases. All the other “enemy” alliance players bases were level 23+ while we only have 1 player with a base of level 20. Of course if I was willing to spend HUNDREDS of dollars to upgrade not only my base, all the research you have to do, all the resources you have to get(which takes days the higher you get, oh but don’t worry, you can spend money to get items to make it go faster!) upgrading all your characters to the highest level(75?), getting all the top tier gear for them, THEN upgrading said gear, leveling the characters skills up, etc, I wouldn’t have to worry about getting attacked and my base destroyed and could actually enjoy the other aspects of the game. So unless you like spending A LOT of money and PVP, I wouldn’t waste my time with this game.

It’s a cool game but the campaigns against players are so one sided it’s stop being fun. The higher player constantly farm your base. There honestly should be a limit to higher level players constantly attacking lower level players. Players are 8-10 levels higher than the people they’re attacking. All the higher level alliances rarely fight each other but they continue pillaging your base and then vanish. Another problem is that it takes entirely waaay to long to heal and train troops. I’m getting hit so many times by higher level players that I don’t even finish training troops..my troop numbers are so low that I fight players with only 20 or so troops plus my heroes because the other guys keep sending my troops to the hospital…I currently have over 2400 troops in the hospital and it will take over 3 days to heal them…so I have to wait 2 or 3 days to play, meanwhile players are steady attacking my base what a joke!! Spend money to heal them and in 24 hours they’ll all be back in the hospital because there’s no way to stop a player 10 levels higher than you. Even if you spend money for a peace treaty when it expires they come and farm your base again and again and again so why spend money if I’m gonna get farmed anyway. This should be addressed because it makes the game experience boring, and not pleasant..and soon I’ll be departing with this experience if this continues.

It can be a fun game although I’ve been having issues since the update. The game will “refresh” and unlink my account, wont let me relink the account, says that those accounts are already linked. It wont let me get into events, stopped leveling the facilities and I’lll lose the resources. If I go into alliance, it says the alliance doesnt exist but the chat window says otherwise. I tried using the repair feature - nothing. Tried restarting my phone, tried a different wifi or turning it off altogether, tried clearing the cache and tried deleting and reinstalling the game. I spent some money on LastFortress as well and having these issues stops any construction or further development in the game. Reaching customer support is terrible, literally send them videos and screenshots of all my information with the problems occurring and after a long waiting period they asked me for my information and what’s going on like they didn’t see anything I sent. I send them the information and still wait with nothing being fixed.

So I will have to start off by saying, it’s a pretty good game. There are some bugs with it that needs to be fixed, as it can be game breaking. So I will start with the negatives.

Negatives: One big thing, is that when you are trying to clear certain areas or do certain tasks, it will not let you as it says no route available. Now the issue with this is, you cannot move your character around in any way you want, so you have to rely on there being a route for them to pass through. Main issue is that there is plenty of routes, and it still says no route. So I cannot do anything to upgrade/clear rooms. Both my characters that do construction can’t go anywhere. So I am just stuck there. No progression. Secondly, this game is a little off when it comes to certain people doing things. Some of them can’t even search one box because it won’t let them, and then after that box is done, a different box will come into play and they can search that one. Doesn’t make any sense.

Positives: I do enjoy this game already, it’s got some story, it’s really not bad in that aspect at all. I enjoy the cutscenes and watching them drive off and such, really adds to the immersion.

Other than that the Negatives outweigh the positives, I will continue playing this game of course. But since there are game breaking bugs I will only be giving 3 stars. Once it’s fixed, I will give it the 5 stars it deserves.

This is my favorite, let me repeat my favorite game to play. I’ll reach for this game before I even turn on my Xbox or PlayStation. Here’s the biggest problem, some will say the amount of money one needs to spend in order to not get farmed by bigger clans. Here’s the kicker, it’s the bigger clans that’s the problem. Most of them spend thousands of dollars to be stronger just to farm and become server bullies and don’t do anything outside of what they want because if you do, they’ll sell your clan off to the highest bidder for farming to save their own skin. There has to be a way to play and not be farmed all the time. I was part of a big alliance but they are up when I’m normally sleep plus it’s boring because you’re not allowed to do anything. If you’re in a small alliance it gets boring because you’re being hit all day every day. One of my mates was hit 78 times because they hit someone on their level for points then the most powerful comes hinting for days of not longer. All I’m saying is, we need to find a way to make this game fun for those that spend less than a certain threshold. Or put all the high powered clans on one server. Just a little help is needed because we lose players everyday, they are just quitting the game. I’m a glutton for punishment and this game even though stressful at times is fun fun fun.

This game is unabashedly pay to win. On nearly every screen, there are “give us money to get more rewards or premium characters!”options. There is no way to effectively compete with the other players without spending a ton of cash. The devs will tell you that you can get a lot of resources for free, which is true. But you get only a fraction of that of paying players, which doesn’t solve the pay-to-win problem. If you didn’t have to interact with other players, this wouldn’t be a problem. But no, if you can’t get your base strong enough, you get raided and destroyed by the wealthy players. That leads to my second big complaint about this game. It is deceptive in its marketing materials, and doesn’t explain anywhere that the main feature of the game once you get past the introduction is player-vs-player combat, and alliance warfare. This is yet another game where you have a city in an overworld with a bunch of other players, manage troops, and send armies to attack zombies and other players/alliances. But they hide that. No screenshots. Nothing in any ads I’ve seen. They hook you with the interesting gameplay of exploring and building out your bunker. Then they throw you into the overworld where you have to shell out real cash or constantly get raided by other players.

The early gameplay with exploring and building your bunker is fantastic. If the game was just that, I’d love it. But, unfortunately, that is not what this game is.

So why didn’t I? Because I wanted a game to play as I wanted by myself if I wanted. This game for all it’s cool gameplay eventually forces you into an alliance to survive. It’s not really an option not to. That instantly destroyed any enjoyment I had from the game. I had advanced as far as I could without losing my city shield. And once down I have to fight off both zombie hordes and other players. I don’t want forced social interaction. I don’t want strangers raiding my base and wasting whatever time and resources it took to build it up. So when I could advance no further without having to ally myself or be raided I deleted the game. It is obvious that despite all the hard work in developing the game, its creators have no interest in solo players like me. Too bad.

Update. The developer responded in part by telling me it was a dangerous world and alliances were popular. Apparently I was not clear when I said that being forced into an alliance was a “feature” that I did not want or enjoy and since I prefer solo play. Hence I deleted the game. Don’t tell me that I am wrong for not wanting social interaction dependency in a game…it is fine to have if I want it…but not as a must have to play option. Nor do I want any being raided by other players. Perhaps I wasn’t clear on that either. No pvp for me. So if the developers want to develop solo friendly options I will be back. If not then bye bye Last Fortress.

I’ve reached out to customer service about this, waited two days for an answer of “we clearly state our rules before every dimension yada yada yada” and copy and pasting a BOT RESPONSE you just close my ticket with no resolution. Now I am here once again stating that no where it says that you need to be the First Capture on a Key City for a zombie invasion to start. Maybe if you actually read what my ticket was ABOUT and looked at the screenshots PROVIDED you would see that there IS NO TIMER. We have had a key city for 3 days now “the timer for a zombie invasion starts immediately to start within 23 hours of capturing” THERE IS NO TIMER. I don’t know why I waste my time on this game when for the most basic assistance needed you give 0 effort. Once again my alliance is screwed because of something YOU DIDN'T STATE for the entire season on our first play through. It says “when an alliance first occupies the core city, the zombie countdown” MAYBE you should change it to When an alliance gets a *First Capture*. No one knew about this, even people who have played through Doomed Land. Don’t try to say I’m the stupid one for not paying attention to “the rules” or “the announcements” when I’m in EVERY SINGLE social media page, every single discord chat, even Instagram. I follow everything and took WEEKS looking for information on doomed land. If I could lower my rating more I could. I’m livid at this response.

I absolutely love this game and have been playing it everyday for a month straight ever since I first downloaded it. But as I play more and more it only gets harder and harder to compete with people who have spent any amount of money on this game. The robot that collects all your resources from your base would be insanely helpful in the progression of a base, but the fact you have to pay ten dollars for that is a little ridiculous to me. You can also get a 4th work station, which is insanely helpful in the development and quick progression of a base. But you have to pay five dollars for that as well. These are just a couple of instances where you have to pay in order to come anywhere close to keeping up with your competitors, like I said this is a great game, but I feel adding these features just to be told you have to pay to win is a huge smack in the face for anyone who actually wants to be able to have fun without spending money on a mobile app. Even at least making these things a little more affordable for everybody would help the problem, 99 cents is a more than reasonable price for any add on In this game. If you ask me 5$ and even 10$ for add ons that are Almost essential to developing your base and keeping up with your opponents who have that kind of money to spend, is flat out ridiculous. Thank you and I hope change comes soon, for the future of this games sake.

This game is very fun and addicting. And I’m enjoying it very much. Although I do notice a few things wrong with this game. 1- people tend to bully others and attack the same person over and over and you can’t do anything about it. This game is a money based game and I think it hurts the game. It’s hard to progress when people with huge cp gaps can just attack and can’t defend yourself. I have this problem currently. I have specific people that like to bully smaller groups to gain an edge.
2- big and powerful groups should be put with big powerful groups. I’m on a server that has a group that shouldn’t be on our server because of how powerful they are and we can’t progress very good since our S4 merger. So I do hope the devs find a solution to this.
All in all the game is very enjoyable. I know my big lettter doesn’t seem that way, but it has some great qualities about it. I don’t and won’t spend lots of money on a game to be able to compete. So I do think a report button for bullying should be available. Because I have seen bigger groups target people they don’t like or something like that.
Anyway I do hope people still play the game because it is enjoyable for sure

The game is entertaining however if you are not willing to put quite a bit of money into the game (couple $100 or more) be ready to be farmed by those that do. You will find it difficult to build and upgrade down the road (around level 9+ HQ). If you are willing to pump a good amount of money into the game make sure you are in a strong alliance as you will still be farmed by stronger alliances (filled with players that have put quite a bit of money into the game). Outside of that the characters are interesting and the story is entertaining. Good luck out there for those that chose to stay! And enjoy.

Update/responding to devs: None of your response changes my review. It is still a pay to win to game. The reference to needing to be in a strong guild was more directed to those who are thinking of putting a lot of money into the game. If you pay, make sure you are in a strong guild as well or you will still be left in the dust and farmed. Good luck all and have fun!

I’ve been playing for several months now. As expected the pay-to-play/win players will ALWAYS dominate! HOWEVER, my biggest complaint is the game-related POP-UPS!!! You touch a tile, POP-UP (to tell you about the tile). Win an award, POP-UP (tell what the award/prizes WERE), upgrade a building (POP-UP) to tell you what the upgrade improved. A LOT of the POP-UPs say “click anywhere to close”, but you REALLY CAN’T UNTIL THAT POPUP FINISHES FLOURISHING EVERYTHING YOU WON!!!! THEN, YOU CAN’T JUST CLICK ANYWHERE, YOU MUST CLICK SOMEWHERE!!!

When players are waiting days for an upgrade, we don’t have time for the MUNDANE POPUPS THAT HAVE BEEN SEEN SINCE DAY ONE!!! Instead of popups, send us silent emails - if we’re interested we’ll read them!!! OTHERWISE, THE PRIZES/REWARDS BECOME MUNDANE/REPETITIVE THAT SITTING THROUGH THEM IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!

I’m not talking ads, I’m talking about normal game-activity popups that should have end back at level 6 (or sooner)!!! If people loved popups, people wouldn’t be complaining about popup ads on websites!!! These aren’t random ads popping up in game, they’re “YOU CLICKED TO SEE WHAT YOUR INGAME REWARD WAS” popups!!! SEND EMAILS!!! GET RID OF THE COMMON/DAILY-repetitive popups! I CAN FINISH COLLECTING CHESTS AND SEE HOW MANY acquired AFTERWARD BY LOOKING IN INVENTORY!!!! After level 4 ENOUGH WITH THE CONSTANT POPUPS (unless it’s something new/never seen before)!!!

This game is actually good, but like most mobile game ads the game is COMPLETELY different from the ads. However, I was surprised to see this game was actually good. It reminded me of the mobile game “Fallout Shelter.” So, if you like Sims and zombies this is the game for you. The reason I won’t give it 5-stars is because there are a LOT OF BUGS. I usually find myself having to restart my game because things aren’t working the way they are supposed to. As an example, you have to use gopher traps in your bunker to get meat. You can upgrade these traps to get more than one gopher rather than just one at a time. Eventually when the trap gets full. You have to get one of your heroes to get the gophers out of the trap. Whenever I try to get the gophers out the trap, my heroes don’t ever go to the traps. I am constantly trying to click the buttons to bring my heroes to the trap, but it just doesn’t work. I have tried restarting my game (and even my phone). Sadly, it didn’t work. I hope this bug gets fixed so that I don’t run out of food so easily and find one of my residents gone after only 40 minutes out of the game.

This is my honest review on Last Fortress. I usually never write reviews unless LastFortress makes me upset. I first downloaded it when I continued to see it advertising on TikTok. The advertisements are pretty cringey, but to be honest the game you actually end up playing is better than the game you see in the advertisements. Now onto the game. I’ve played this game a crap ton, like my screen time is mostly invested into Last Fortress. Only one thing that gets on my nerves is the pay to progress or pay to win or however you want to say it. During the paint a Easter egg event, the silver card was rigged to where you could basically only get it by purchase, I got 2 silver paint cards and the rest where donated to me and keep in mind I got all the Easter eggs. I’m not disclosing my age but let’s just say I can’t have a job yet but almost can. So it screws me over when it is rigged to where you have to pay. Overall I really like this game

I have been playing for around a year now and I can 100% say you will not get very far if you aren’t spending money or join a top 3 alliance (which means you need to spend money to be able to join). Being in an alliance does mean you will get more daily rewards but it’s definitely not enough to keep you strong in this game. Expect to be attacked by high spending players and you can’t do anything about it. I have spent a considerable amount of money to get to the strength I am but I am still not as strong as I could be and still deal with bullying from stronger alliances. Everything in this game is a money grab. And in this economy I think the pricing of things in this game is absolutely ridiculous and egregious. $100 for 10 car parts? High spending players spend at least 10k minimum on the game just to give an idea. You can get more accurate numbers on the subreddit for this game. It’s enjoyable but as you progress it doesn’t get very fun unless you are spending money. The developers responses have all been the same that is how I know they don’t really care about the free to play or low spending players. We are in one of the worst recessions and a game that is supposed to be a stress reliever in these times is causing people to go bankrupt! I think it’s very predatory of the developers. They are well aware that this game is not easy for people not willing to spend money but they don’t care! So play with caution.

So the game is actually really fun and way more in-depth then you might think but it does come with a few issues. First of all developers if your going to advertise this game do not lie to people. Your ads for this game do not show ANY of the actual gameplay that’s in this game. It’s a very bad thing for new players to be shown an ad about a game and then they play it and the game is COMPLETELY different then the advertisements. There is a few times where I’ve noticed the game slows down and just straight crashes. But not very often usually only happens when a lot of stuff is happening on screen. The game is a fortress builder/multiplayer base attacking game and it does do a pretty good job at it. My other issue is that it’s insanely hard to pull good heroes. Most of the time I’m getting straight garbage. Edit: It is nice to introduce more things but I would personally fix older things, bugs and glitches before releasing new events. At this point your just adding even more bugs and glitches. Also fix your preview section on LastFortress Store. Only 2 pictures and none of the videos show the actual game. 2 pictures….that’s sad. Now sure what game the other pictures and the videos are of but it’s not this game. Take pride in your game. Show actual pictures and videos of your actual game and gameplay. That will draw more people in.

The game is really great. It is literally exactly what the trailer shows, which is becoming a rare trait in games. I love the upgrading and the storage system. My only issue with the game is the combat style. You have a team, which gets more members as you level, and they fight against a team of zombie like most combat games. The issue with the combat is that you can’t lock on to a certain enemy. I keep fighting the same fight and failing. My team is stronger than the other but I can’t have my team lock on to a certain target so instead they just attack everyone at once. Normally that would be okay but there is several times when one of the enemies are in the red and my team refuses to go for them and seem to have a strange obsession with lowering everyone else to equal levels of health rather than take out the low health enemy. This causes my team to be killed because instead of there being four enemies there is five doing the damage. I really hope they fix this issue because it’s really frustrating and makes winning fights, no matter how strong your team is, impossible. Please dev allow for players to have more control in the fight. Allow for players to chose to lock onto a certain enemy.

This game is addictive and fun but expensive it’s a lot of fun when you find a good alliance but there are still some small problems like the lack of games at the bar that cost 50 dollars or certain events like the 1 with the pick axe forgot the name but it tells you after the event all of your completed pieces of the highest level you can save but all other pieces will disappear I spent my money saved pieces trying to wait for the next time the event rolls around to have more pieces to make better purchases but they have all disappeared after the event ends like 3 times now that’s false advertisement also getting fortress skins are impossible even through purchase and when they finally come around they cost probably 500-1k usd in purchases to obtain absolutely to expensive for a skin that gives you no ability also there are no timed team attacks so smaller players can’t take down stronger players even in a rally because they attack solo 1x1 with timed attacks as long as your attack arrives to the enemy while your alliance member is attacking both your armies with attack together up to like 5 members at a time meaning if my cp is 10 million and a 5 mill 3 mill and 4 mill send attacks that arrive at the same time there army will be 12 million vs my 10 million that will eliminate the bullying from stronger players and give smaller players more hope and give them an overall better more fun experience

I went into this game late expecting and wanting to hate it because it resembles a game I like. My experience: The gameplay, and storyline is genuinely fun and ‘interactive’. Within a ‘minutes’ time of saying something on the chatroom I was flooded with over 40 Chinese language speaking alliance requests (bots). There are few alliances that are not bots or that speak English. Not sure how today’s update concerns the overwhelming bot issue, but it would improve my score to a 5 if the issue was resolved. The game is a big p2w, but you can still hustle and you always have stuff to do. As much as I want to hate this game, I can’t, it’s a good game, well made, new strides in certain areas, with a bot issue. Edit: Gave the game a full 5/5 for how interactive it is, and for the developers response.

But looking a like a promising good game with great deal to purchase. Your game inflation is remade and run different the most game. That is a plus makes for a challenge to figure out the inflation base on how a person plays with limited resources which makes them resourceful. What it appear the game does is you build your base first to develop resources to combat where most other games builds units first. That is an interesting plot twist. And makes you think how advance and build the proper resources to advance. This game really makes you think before entering pvp area how to prepare best outcomes. Now this is early in the game so, it appears rather then doing daily quest it is based on weather the game is day or night to set for the new day alleviating dailies all together and develop a new system of quest instead based on different criteria. So, so far this is second day in and right now the new concept seems re-engineered. I will have to check the shops and see how well the shops are involving real money. So I so far give this the highest star rating based on re-engineering the game different to most if not all other games. I call this a unique setting

Im giving this game five stars for keeping it exciting and interesting. I am a person how get bored easily, this game is definitely that. The only issue is my phone heating up when I use the game, hopefully they can fix that. I’m easy to please. The game has good graphics and the illustrations of the characters are beautiful. I almost passed over this game because when I looked through the comment I was a little upset that it’s a pay to win type game when it never said that. You either pay to get extra benefits or you go through the game for free. If you decide to go the free route that’s ok, because the game gives you advice on how to get stronger and which hero’s go good together, which is the strongest, and etc. It’s also important to join an active alliance in order to build your cp up. You will also ally yourself with other players with more experience to give great advice on how to get stronger and to motivate you to participate to gain points for more resources. My advice try the game fora month and see for yourself. I have been addicted since October and I’m practically on it everyday.

First off I’d like to state how awesome and welcoming the community of this game is. I’ve been playing similar games for years and I haven’t ever been involved in chat and interactions on the level that I have with this game. This game is sadly much easier to play if you’re willing to bankrupt yourself. I really wish the creator of the game would open a website where they can sell game packs directly to the player to bypass Apples outrageous App Store fees. Also I wish there was a way to add a clock that matches the time zone you’re in, maybe put it in the same place as the game clock but have it switch between displaying the different times every few seconds. Lastly, a lot of players use Discord with this game because some players will gang report other players that they don’t like, making it incapable of communicating to other allies. My friend was ban from chat for over 38,000 hours. That just ridiculous considering she was one of the top players and invested heavily into this game and now she’s struck out because of this crap. We’ve been trying to contact the mod team for weeks but we haven’t seen any progress.

I do love the game.. I’m still getting used to it and trying to figure things out.. it’s a really fun game.. I just wish that leveling up and getting resources would be easier. since it is a war game and u get attacked quite a bit. And maybe in the next update or when y’all bring the tile crush back( after the one we have now ends) u can have it where each time u start it or restart it u get 1 each of the things u have to buy at the bottom right of the board(free). That way for people who can’t afford to buy the package and get a chance to make it farther and maybe finish a round without having to use up all of the chances to restart cuz they keep messing up( me in particular) and if maybe u can bring back the mine game( that was there for the anniversary event) that be awesome it was my favorite and I loved playing it. And if u can make it where getting the peace treaty for ur fortress is easier to get as well that be really really really great! Thx.. hope this helps and it’s not too needy!! Really do love the game otherwise ♥️

Hackers all over!!!! I accidentally didn’t hit the hide who purchased what button. Next day my hero’s were stripped to basic. My total cp count changed even when I didn’t change anything. I have battles that I have no record of. I get visitors but they are all same alliance members. The developers don’t care! I purchased a 9.99 premium pack and slaved away for a few hours. When I found everything changed.. I mean everything.. city was rearranged.. building lower, research was like I never did anything. I upgraded my barracks to level 10 and for two day straight every time I logged in they we level 8. So I screen shot and recorded my play and progress. I contacted developers..showed them reciepts.. I’d number for purchases and they said they had no record of my purchase. Up I gave them records. I was banned so I asked for all my money back and they can keep that layout. They haven’t responded. Apple and google must know about this. Im sure I’m not the only one. I like the game but hackers and cheaters all over!!! Beware also in the Apple Store I tried to contact developer and it said the website is not secure. Also for god sake dont bind to im30!!!!!

I have been playing from the start, I have a lot of money invested in my account but no where near the huge alliances. You can’t grow, or expand this game caters to to the big players which isn’t very smart because smaller players spend money too. We have been bullied, stuck in one server where they just moved alliances in the billions, where they want $3000 to move. I keep playing because I have a great team, good people..I see this game going down unless they change

There is alot and I mean alot of people that conplain about the higher troops or level that come in and wipe out a lower level player. YES THERE IS SUCH A THING. I have screen shots that show a level 26 player taking out a level 11. What is fair about that? Nothing. That one player, hopefully is still playing and trying to get on with their game play has to start from zero supplies such as coins, stones and iron. Several larger alliances such as then NEX, NEA and now No1 are all large power paid players. There is even one person on youtube that spent 40K in the game. That's not going to happen for me, I am not paying 40K, if I did, I expecect a certificate of stock for that. Never the less, the game developers need to start listening before all of us that know on how capitalism works start pushing back and make the game dead.
