This is dumb, but the reviews seemed too funny- I couldn't help it, so I downloaded. It's confusing. I get it's an inverted image of an inverted image, but why do people think they are so ugly when there's no difference..... ohhh right that's cause millennial's always use filters and Snapchat fanciful effect- you fools forgot what you looked like?! Lol. It's literally no different, but then again the "dress" was always blue and black to me, maybe this is one of those times. Or maybe it's cause I'm a chef and dietitian and don't eat all that processed junk..... also I never particularly liked my looks enough to delude myself hahahaha. If you really want sad, all these reviewers are likely going to age into even worse looks👀 bah-hahahaha. Anyway it's nothing worth downloading or getting weirdly suicidal over... it's a nonsense app that is as useless as it seems, here I was waiting for the punchline that never came. I look the same, swarthy and skeptical😏

TrueMirror doesn’t show how you look like from other peoples perspective. It just flips your camera horizontally.. if you actually want to know what you look like to others look in the actual mirror or grab a friend to ask them their opinion

The problem with this is its such a close up so all of your features are right out in the open anyways. With selfies, we are used to a certain image and my seeing the reverse it’s going to look terrible to anybody. No, this is not what you really look like. What i suggest is taking a video of yourself using the forward facing camera on your phone. Then nothing is reversed and you will come to see that you look almost identical to how you look in a real mirror. So save yourself the time and the stress and trust your mirror.

So I got TrueMirror , TrueMirror itself is good... but it still doesn’t help me figure out what I actually look like. Compared to the mirror TrueMirror shows me looking significantly different. So then I tested my regular camera and I looked even more different, so at this point I’m getting three different views and I just want to find out the truth. I think TrueMirror is fine but it definitely doesn’t display what you actually look like.

This is a very good app that allows you to face reality the only problem was when I first downloaded it the camera wouldn’t adjust to the lighting others than that 5 stars👍🏼

I’m honestly not sure what the low star reviewers were expecting. It’s a mirrored mirror app, not a psychic. TrueMirror can’t tell you how you look to other people, no one can, because everyone’s opinion is different. So anyways, yeah, good app. Only giving it 4 stars though, because there’s always room for improvement. Always.

I'm really glad TrueMirror exists since it helped me become confident in taking photos/selfies of myself. I've always been really insecure about taking pictures of myself, since my face in pictures looked really different from the one I see in the mirror.

For anyone who felt insecure after using TrueMirror: I realized that my face in the mirror is actually the same as the one on camera, and that it's really just an optical illusion that my brain failed to initially recognize. The more I used TrueMirror, the more I've realized that my flipped face is actually almost the exact same as the one I see in the mirror. I think if others look at this more regularly and compare it alongside their mirror reflection, they'll probably see something similar.

Great app. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and works as expected. All of the low reviews are either haters or insecure people who exposed themselves and are now angry for no reason. Thank you devs!

I as a person am super insecure with myself. I am obsessive to the point where I need to make sure both eyebrows are filled in the exact same, my hair is parted correctly, etc. TrueMirror is super misleading. For one the camera is zoomed in a lot which is un attractive for anyone. You're beautiful and you don't need a flaky camera app to tell you that. It morphs your face a ton and you obviously aren't going to look the best being that you are unsure of what to do with your face since you're not used to the camera moving that way. Do not download it is a waste of your time and not a boost to the confidence either.

I bought the in app purchase to remove ads and went to restore it, but there was no way to do so that I could find after spending the most frustrating amount of time I could listening to ad after ad pop up. All while simply looking for a restore purchase button!

No camera will ever be as high tech or advanced as the human eye. You’re going to already think you may look bad in TrueMirror anyways because you’re so used to seeing yourself in reverse whenever you look in a mirror. Reverse looks no different to you than what you actually look like to others. If you go in the mirror and think you look good today, than so will others. It’s a matter of what you’re used to, it doesn’t make any sense to look like Jesus in a mirror but absolute trash irl.

I did this because I wanted to stop running from the truth of what I actually look like, and while at first it made me feel really bad like everyone else for the most part, I learned it’s kind of deceiving. Don’t hold the camera all the way up to your face like a selfie, hold it away and it’s a much better look. Also take a screenshot, and go to edit the photo, click on the crop and it will straighten the photo, eliminating the crooked look TrueMirror gives you. TrueMirror work but the filters need to be tweaked slightly

I was curious to how I looked to others and found TrueMirror. I knew it was going to look a little weird, but when I first used the camera , I looked pretty decent. Then I stared for a little longer, and everything changed. Is this seriously what I look like? I went from average to below average! 3 stars since TrueMirror does what it says it would do, but I wish there were warnings on this thing beforehand. I feel like actual trash. -💩🗑

They say a mirror flips your face right? Why doesn’t it flip the letters on your shirt than too? The letters on my shirt look backwards, but if you look at your shirt and then up at the mirror reflects exactly what it sees. I asked my family members and they said they saw me how I look in the mirror I don’t know for sure, but I think the mirror actually shows an accurate depiction of you

It is kind of slow and too sensitive if the screen is touched. After pic is taken, and one tries to go back to the live image, it takes like 5 seconds to go back. Overall, TrueMirror fulfills its purpose, it is a True Mirror and not an inverted image like most mirror app falsely advertise. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the slowless.

Mirrors have been lying to me my whole life. TrueMirror is awesome. Got the full version and omg can't wait for more things xD

SUGGESTIONS:
After using TrueMirror awhile the only things that I would like is a way to undo a recent change to the photo (undo button), and a way to import photos from your photo album to apply the silly effects to old photos.
Still a five star app

Update:
I have unfortunately encountered some problems with TrueMirror . One of the stickers doesn't work at all and one of them gets squished when you click on them. Also it's very challenging having to tap on stickers because they are often unresponsive to touch. I've decided to make this 4 stars because of this.

Before trying this I was scared that I was going to face a horrible reality -- and that I might be hideous and just not even know it lol! But I actually look pretty much the same. I discovered that my teeth aren't quite as straight as I thought they were so that's a bummer. Nothing I'll lose any sleep over . Cool app! 👍

so for a couple of weeks I was wondering what I looked like to other people,then I found TrueMirror and at first I thought I looked ugly cause I wasn’t used to seeing my actual self but a couple of weeks later I think I look better in real life than in the mirror..it’s far more accurate than a mirror because you can see how other people see you.

TrueMirror has boosted up my self-esteem. The camera on my phone and/or other applications make me feel like I look really bad. I’m glad I found TrueMirror because it helped me boost my confidence up by a lot. I feel like I now see what others see or it might be just my brain tricking me into thinking this is 100% accurate but either way I’m happy I found it for my self-esteem! Thank you.

I downloaded a bunch of mirror apps and tried them all. Tis one has the best set of features and nothing else. Great job! The one request I have is this: would it be possible to allow me to shift the center point that I zoom in on? Web you zoom in you still have to shift your face. It would be great if you could either pick a point to zoom in on or zoom and then slide the image around your face.

After watching the Vsauce video that described mirrors and their tricks, I had to download TrueMirror! It's pretty cool because it actually shows your flipped image in real time instead of having to take a picture every time you want to see how you look with the camera app. Awesome!
