I despise the maconomy app for ESS. It needs numerous login attempts before it actually opens DeltekTouch . It’s slow. It’s complicated and requires a number of steps for you to submit an expense.
It’s asking for a URL to connect. I was not informed about what it should be so I can’t connect. Shouldn’t it just be automatic?
I wrote a review one year ago that I couldn’t even connect. Since then there have been some updates and I can now connect. Unfortunately that is one step forward and two steps back.
DeltekTouch is very unintuitive, the controls don’t work like standard ios apps do and neither does the navigation. For example if you are viewing your timesheet summary for the week and go to the detail of a row there is no breadcrumb to take you back where you came from.
Entering time is super tedious, it is a one page form for each day for each time record. On top of that the job selection fail every time so you have to filter and tap search jobs before it works.
As much as I hate the online experience it is at least better than DeltekTouch , it still super irritating that I have to change my password so often and even more so that it saves a new password with characters that their site doesn’t save correctly or accept as password characters. So next time you login you get an invalid password error and ultimately get logged out (and no I didn’t forget my password I use a password manager and this has happened multiple times and to my co-workers)
As a software developer I must say DeltekTouch as well as the website are both very disappointing. I already hate having to log my time and this experience makes it 10x worse
Deltek are notorious for writing terrible software - this latest version is a true testament to that point.
New version prompts you each time to set all your credentials again...
Keep up the appalling work Deltek - maybe in a few years you will develop something not to be embarrassed about?
My company requires us to use this - could not hate it more. No support, just errors every time I try to use it. Can’t get past the server screen now. Another late timesheet thanks to Deltek which affects my comp.
Can't even get past the first screen. Can't paste a URL. Can't see the URL when it's entered. Give it one shot and then give up if it doesn't work.
