DuoMaps Directions & Traffic Reviews

Since I got my first iPad some years ago, this has been my favorite app. Its design makes it much easier than any other map app to use for navigation, street view, and my profession/hobby of geology. Having satellite from both Apple and Google is great because I can choose the one that displays the best view of my target street travel or geologic feature. The street view control is easier than other map apps, and the labels are a good size. Very legible, but not so big they obscure the map.
I know several users are unhappy about the new subscription, but it was necessitated by an increase in costs that are beyond the developers' control. It was not a case of greed. Having looked at similar apps, I was delighted by the low price of the DuoMaps subscription and feel that it is well worth the price of two lattes for a year's use of street views. It sure beats the possibility of losing DuoMaps entirely.

Have to keep deleting and reloading to get it to work. Otherwise the best on the internet

Every day I have to make quick judgements about how to get to a location, and what I’ll find when I get there. DuoMaps Is my most-used app, after Mail & Camera. It helps me avoid problems and helps me earn every dollar.

DuoMaps implements Street View in a superior, intuitive way. Better mapping information, accessed more quickly, and with a better user interface. When a problem crops up due to unexpected changes by either Apple or Google, the Developer tackles it quickly — and gets it fixed. I have no reservations: buy it!!

I have had DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic for a long time but rarely use it. Now I see the message and reviews about a subscription? My husband loves DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic and uses it all the time. He will buy an annual subscription. Do I understand the subscription correctly? DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic permits family sharing except for “in-app purchases. In order to buy the necessary subscription you have to buy it within DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic . Therefore all family subscribers must also individually BUY subscriptions??? And the data still comes from either Google or Apple.

I guess I don’t “love” DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic enough. I can use Apple or Google Maps.

Restores the beloved Google Street View to iDevices, lacking only a few features; there's no compass function on the photos, so one can't tell in which direction the image is pointing. Hopefully that nice touch will come in a later version. A definite positive in the MobiMaps is the greater ease of removing pins; given that a wandering finger can so easily drop them, it's nice to clear them out with no fuss at all.

I love DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic! We are self employed and can't do much traveling and very limited time so I make DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic my way of traveling!!! I love going to the street view and pretend I'm there. Sometimes it even allows me to go inside some places!!! Thank you street view!!!!

I really haven’t had a chance to use it but it seems pretty easy but I gave it 5 stars any because it loads incredibly fast and I can say I like that already keep up the great work

I have never looked for a place that I was not on able to fine… Gives you a total visual reference to the location you’re trying to locate!!!

No great review needed the map specks for it self. Location made easier to find plus a picture of the location with it.

I want my money back. This worthless map does not give you turn by turn voice directions and it won't let you choose as a starting point your current location without entering an address. I deleted my google maps to replace with this and was sorry I did. I re download google as soon as I could and deleted this piece of crap.

You now want to charge a subscription fee to people wanting to see street viewing when other apps are allowing this for no additional cost? No thank you! I liked DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic but paying that amount to just check a certain street is asinine. Sorry, but I must delete DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic.

So now is the time to ask your costumer for monthly subscription after we pay $1.99 for DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic ??
So is time to rip off people money for street view that option was already included in my existing package before . About keeping your existing customers happy leaving our existing purchase they way it was ? Cmon Google . 👎

It’s all about the money now. Used to be my favorite app for street view, heck that’s why I downloaded it!! I’ve had DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic for over 4 years, and now with the recent update they want a monthly subscription just like a typical money grabber app. Looks like I have to go look for another app now 🤷🏻‍♂️

You won't regret DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic! Perfect for my iPad and iPhone. It brings street level view in clear and perfect ! Great price too.

Great program as is but it would be even better with more detail on the African continent.

I find this application very helpful in planning my journeys. I use it several times a day.

Works pretty good. It does close up on me quite a bit, but it's better than not having a full screen view. I was reading reviews and saw a lot of "how to get street view to work". 1. Open app. In top left corner tap on the little lines. Switch to Google maps.
2. Tap arrow in bottom left. That brings up little man. 3. Gently drag him to where you want street view. To move down the street tap the arrow. Each tap takes you about 50 feet down the road. You know you can also get a half screen street view. To get it, do an Internet search -how to use google street view. - Go to the section that says where is street view. It's a working map, tho only uses half the screen. ( and free).

I bought DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic and after a time I could no longer get direction to or from. Cannot get support through DuoMapsDirectionsTraffic because their email is an invalid address.

Don't waste your money

Wasn’t what I’d hoped. And that’s ok. But I could get a refund 12 hours later. So that’s a bit upsetting. Oh well.

This is the best street view apps .I am so happy with this version
