I was excited when my company switched to these knowing it would mean no longer mailing in badges and now submitting via Bluetooth. Unfortunately these badges and InstadoseCompanion are terrible quality. The badge stops working frequently, the all is highly unreliable to send transmissions and the customer service is the worst. It took me 6 months to get a replacement badge after one stopped working and it wasn’t until I got my company involved since it was violating guidelines.
Not only does InstadoseCompanion fail to live up to the most basic promises, but the tech support this company offers is basically non-existent. I’m forced to use this product thanks for my job, however, I’m doing everything in my power to ensure others don’t make the same mistake. Stay away from InstadoseCompanion/company if at all possible.
App shows my login is not valid but I can log in on the website. Reloaded InstadoseCompanion and changed my password. Still no luck. App sees my badge but does not upload the info.
I mean did anyone even open this up and try to use it before they put it on InstadoseCompanion Store for public use?
Used this 4 years ago. Was way better. Now it’s literally crap. Doesn’t sync automatically or manually.
This is the worst app! Complete and utter garbage! If you forget your login information you’re S.O.L.! After a few tries you have to wait 10 min. Seriously?!? Makes me question if the dosimeters, InstadoseCompanion supposedly reads, actually work.

Important, InstadoseCompanion is pure trash. Never syncs if updates. Crashes when you do manual sync, it’s just abysmal. Would give negative stars if I could.
I’ve had the same experience. Auto reads never work. Manual reads never connect to my mobile phone
Often doesn’t connect and when you manage to it says it has sent info but it actually hasn’t. Terrible terrible terrible
This application is quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever seen. Can’t use it without it crashing at least once. If I could have given 0 stars I would.
The previous iteration of InstadoseCompanion (radar blip) was very limited in intuitive features. Somehow they made it worse. Apparently my last several badge readings never transmitted? It shows the badge number when synced then nothing.
How is it that this is a medical app?!? There is zero QA done to InstadoseCompanion. Crashes constantly, home page does not refresh, will not read badges, after a “successful” read it won’t display the results. This is trash, whoever pushed it out to public should be ashamed of themselves.
Takes forever to connect and transfer. Crashes constantly….. have to try and manually send at least 2-3 times for it to maybe work. Go with Landauer if you’re considering this crappy company.
InstadoseCompanion is only useful to read your badge, however you are unable to obtain quarterly or yearly exposure summary from it! That is the information I need and I should have to log into the desk top version for it! Please fix and I will change my rating!
This really is a horrible app. I don't get a choice in who we use for this but I fight with it for an hour plus each month and often end up reinstalling it each month just to get it to read my badge so that I can stay compliant. I'd leave negative stars if that were an option
Why is it literally zero EVERY. MONTH? This product is terrible. I wish we could get out of our contract. I would never recommend this company or product to anyone.

It works well and is very easy to setup. Armando was very helpful setting this up.

Looks like they fixed the crashing issue, app stays open while I read my badges. this is the greatest thing to be able to read the badges while on the road.
Need to ensure Bluetooth is on and data (cell or Wi-Fi) is on.

The Instadose® Companion mobile app wirelessly communicates and securely transmits accumulated dose data from Instadose®+ and Instadose®2 digital dosimeters to Mirion servers where dose information is archived in the wearer’s legal dose of record.
Automatic dose reads are performed on an established calendar setting (set by your account administrator) and manual dose reads can be performed at any time by pressing the button on the back of the dosimeter for 4-seconds.
Dose results, history, and wearer/dosimeter information can be immediately viewed (by the individual wearer or admin only) directly on the app after a successful transmission.
Now immediate dose reads can be captured by internet enabled computers or smart phones and tablets.
