Pro Pool 2026 Reviews

I have 2 issues with this game.

First, english doesn't appear to have any effect for shots under 2 bars of power. This probably makes sense to most people, but a skilled player can draw it without hitting it hard. I think the issue is that the game doesn't consider the relationship between the magnitude of the effect of the English, and the distance between the cue ball and the target ball.

Also, the scaling on the power bar could use some improvement. Most shots need less than bar of power. This game could be improved by scaling everything up so you have more variability for shots that require finesse

For whatever reason, the paid version only works correctly on my iPad, and there is no way for me to buy it again (which I shouldn’t even have to)anyways) on my iPhone. It still works, but I have no paid features. Great game otherwise, just a little bummed about getting approximately 75% of the game I paid for.

I like ProPool2026 for its attention to detail but I am about to uninstall ProPool2026 because it wastes my time showing me ads for other apps that I will never, ever get. I will never get them because they have annoyed me into hating them. That’s a strange way to attract customers. Annoy them until they submit? It doesn’t work for toddlers so it won’t work for you.
Some things about the game that also annoy me are the “chalking” regimens. This game will make you miss your shot and turn over the cue if you didn’t apply chalk, which of course, you only get by watching an ad.
There is an ad after each rack. An ad after each match. An ad to enter a game or tournament. An ad after everything. Since the makers are probably not from America, they should know that this is Very insulting to Americans

This is no doubt the best pool game on line l purchased all and every thing they had and they taught me to be a professional player and they can never beat me. they have taken all the games l paid for off all me devises. You guys have treated me very bad and l want you to restore my games as they were when l paid a lot of money. If you don’t you are cheaters lm am not stupid l will get my money back.

Good game . At times doesn’t respond the way I think it should after playing for 50 some years . ( English & speed ) Also I just had the issue that it is a foul if 4 balls do not hit a rail in a 9 ball break . ( I’ve always thought the game doesn’t start if a ball isn’t pocketed or 4. Alls do not hit a rail . ) Which means the breaker breaks over again. ( no foul ) .
I’m in agreement , computer prevents you from making eas shots . ( like the pockets are 1 1/2 “ with shelf covering the opening ! Lol ! Tough competition though !

Good game, but serious problems with reality. Most glaring is that somehow using high English on a cut shot will stop the cue ball! Also the spin doesn’t get affected by friction. Any back spin will turn into top spin after some distance depending on the amount of spin, speed, and distance.
And rolling forward in reality is really easy with a slow shot. In the game you have to hit very hard with full top to get the cue to go forward.
And “fast” cloth is too slow, “low” pocket bounce is still way too high (like a pinball table).

As the title above, ive been playing this all year and it was the BEST POOL GAME BY FAR, UNTIL: When i went to find their website in ProPool2026 store, there was no such thing as ' pro pool 2018 !

I wrote tonight to complain about all of a sudden you cant play a rack now without commercial playing , before u can move to the next rack! Gimme a break. It is so aggravating i really will look for another pool game.

I can’t imagine playing another person and watching them sunk every single bank shot they shoot. That is exactly what happens in thus computer game, regardless of their supposed skill level. It is truly amazing to watch this happen. Can’t happen in real life. It makes you have to shoot a tremendous game in order to beat the computerized game.

Good graphics, but they could be much better. And there are bugs. If you break and sink a solid ProPool2026 will point you to a stripe. After a break the graphic showing what balls you have remaining doesn’t show up soon enough. Fine-tuning aim is very tedious but required. Either the game cheats OR you must aim a dead center shot every time to avoid a corner bumper.

From someone whom has played billiards for 25+ yrs and read the last 15 reviews before purchasing ProPool2026 and paying $3.99 all inclusive; this is a great format that has been built for the gamer of pool! The BIG negative I can see is the AI; as the first 3hrs of playing quick games and tourneys at the lowest amateur level, the competitor has made the most amazing bank shots, 9-ball breaks to win (which most amateurs only make 1 out of 50 breaks), and also ran more than 3+ shots in a row consecutively! Is the amateur ranking a pro level amateur, or a beginner with minimal skill? If they are pro level, then I can’t imagine having to keep playing and never missing a shot too succeed or progress against better competition when already losing to a supposed amateur on multiple occasions after running the table at a beginner level! Just asking?!!!

App is outstanding on my iPad, and is gorgeous and runs fine on iPhone X, but on the X is is a tarpit...there’s no exit! On earlier phones and the iPad you exit with the Hone button, but the X doesn’t have one and so you are trapped! If this happens you can get out if you have Siri enabled. Hold the side button until Siri appears, then say “launch mail” or some other app and swipe up slowly to ProPool2026 switcher and kill Pool. I’ve deleted it until this problem is fixed.

ProPool2026 is closer to reality than the rest and I love the addition of 14.1. Two issues
One is that getting any effect from a follow shot requires way too hard of a hit. The other is that 14.1 is a call shot game, yet the computer opponent just slams into racks when breaking, often ignoring the break ball, and keeps shooting if anything slops in. This is not how the game is played. Of course when the opponent does this and nothing falls he pays dearly as It leaves me open for runs of 50,60,70 or more; missing in an open rack is fatal in straight pool! You should fix this. Otherwise it’s great.

I love this game, I really do, yes I wish that you could access the league plays and tournament without paying but that’s not the point. I really am asking why the heck people say the “computer is too hard”. Well maybe if u were good at billiards in the first place then it wouldn’t be hard. Trust me, if u download this as a billiards game, u will not be disappointed. Again, yes I wish the tournament and league u you didn’t have to pay for, but that’s the developer’s choice, not mine. If u download ProPool2026, good for you, if not I don’t really care.

The game plays really well .It was really hard to change the settings once you start playing a game. I am pleased at the accurately the shots can be. The aiming ability is so awesome .
I have a really hard time putting the game down once I start playing.

I have played pool for over 60 years and this game is addictive and challenging. Although you are playing against a computer, it sharpens your skills and enjoyment for the game. I manage to win 90% of the games, computer or not. I highly recommend you try it!

Thanks for the recent updates. Unfortunately, I’m experiencing a flaw. When I go to cue up to break, I go to “cue ball control” and put some top or bottom spin on my break. Now, when I touch the cue ball control on the bottom right, it immediately takes the pool shot instead of letting me put any control on the cue ball. What gives??

Easy to learn. Really like being able to practice, and I especially love being able to play against CPU players and not forced to play against people online unless you want to. Great graphics, and love all the options available for customization!

When playing against the computer it impossible to win regardless of the level. I kept bringing the level down but the “computer” always played at an advanced level. Also it’s impossible to see the table with a view that gives me opportunity to see from any angle without the “ADS” in the way! Last but not least, it is entirely too hard to make out which balls are high or low when utilizing the “table view” icon!

Really good interface. I like the graphics. It’s great that there are several different Kinds of pool to play. It is hard to see the balls in multiple games. This one allows you to look around the table and get a better view. Fun!

I truly love this game! I love to play pool (real and virtual) and this game does not disappoint. The only criticism I have is that you can't see what ball is made after a break. You can always count the balls on the table but that gets a little challenging. There are so many ways to customize your experience that the possibilities are nearly endless! Love it!
