It's ok. Could be a lot better

Like other reviews, the accumulation of cards and pieces makes no sense. If the game asks me to use a wildcard, I just do it as I have no idea how it works. The coin / gem system is lame. Everything costs something. For example in challenges I win one of three games and in order to claim the prize I need to pay 100 gems. That's not a prize but a purchase. Why would I purchase 2000 coins for 100 gems. It takes ages to accumulate gems. Currently there is an award for obtaining 300 gems. That will take quite some time to complete. Im only getting a wild card. The wheel spin is another farce. You can eventually get the 200 gems if you spend 12,000 or more coins to spin. Don't tell me sink 20 more balls for a spin but then that spin costs more coins. The reward playing this game is almost non existent. If my reward is to tap my way to early arthritis then this game does that. Pop ups to purchase are annoying and the are you sure prompt (another click) is equally as annoying. If I clicked No or close, that's what I meant. I'm not changing my mind. I may just find another pool game that keeps it simple. Like I said, it's ok but it could be A LOT better. Hope you guys take these comments and make changes that make you want to play the game. I could go on but I'm annoyed now just writing this.

Solid, but tainted

This is a good game with a good mechanic that’s fun to play. Unfortunately it’s almost ruined by all the stupid “rewards”. You end up spending more time “opening chests” (why are there treasure chests? This isn’t a pirate game) than playing the game. There are gold, gems, blue square, blue hexagons, cue parts (including conch tears, wine of Dionysus, and a Japanese paper fan? Like ZERO internal logic or consistency), and chalks, among other strange, incongruous things to keep track of (hint, I don’t… I have no idea what most of those do or how I’m earning them). I know they want to lure you into spending money or watching ads, and that’s fine, but do it in a way that makes sense. Lose 90% of the rewards system (Wheel of fortune? Bingo? Daily? Journey? Star rewards? It’s all waaaay too much) and 20% of side games and you’d have a really solid game. Make rewards for winning games money and experience only, which you can spend on chalks, cues, tournament entries, etc. That would be a great game. As it is, it’s occasional fun fluff with way too many distractions. Suggestion: get pool players to help design instead of slot machine designers.

Match3d

Great game! Playorca keeps it interesting by creating new game pieces. What is AWFUL, are the ads, anywhere between 20 to 45 seconds long, with tiny little X’s that if you don’t hit at the correct angle, repeat by throwing up an intermediary wall which you must deal with again and again and again! They have cunningly clever series of ads which need some sort of interaction, ie, the intermediary wall, and then its another 15-20 seconds to clear the next ad or having to wait while they cleverly circle the x before you can push it, or simply waiting for the x to appear! Complete waste of time, and strings out the wait time between levels. No matter if you go for bonus points, or not, you will be watching lengthy ads that repeat ad naseum! There are many other items that waste your time such as series of buttons you MUST PUSH, then wait, push another, then wait…to get from the ending of one level to actually starting the next level of play.

Love the game

Love this game but why can’t we put in our own name and picture if we don’t have Facebook? Not everyone has Facebook.. and you can’t really get to another level quick it takes to much time and gems cards etc

** hate the update idk what y’all did or why y’all did what y’all did in the game when it’s time to play we aim and shoot and the cue ball just goes crazy!! WTH did y’all do! There was absolutely nothing wrong with that part of the game!! And why can’t we use coins to buy anything why is it that we can only use gems that we don’t collect much of?!!

By

Could be better.

Too many weird glitches. Especially charging your account & never getting the gems! Also when the opponent “fouls” and then it still gives them another turn?? That’s soo annoying!!… Needs to be able to write in our own custom phrases for chat. Not their pre-written ones. AND ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ONES… When you get to a higher level (20+) I feel the 8 ball wheel should have MUCH BETTER options. Like 50 gems & more rare & epic cards! Not stupid “common cards” that we just pay 6,000 gold coins to spin for. Prizes should be made “appropriate” per level. 5 gems & 10 gems for daily collections every 12 hours is STUPID SILLY for someone who has supported your game long enough to get far above level 20!!! Show some appreciation for your loyal players!!!

Cash grab

Here to reiterate what a lot of others reviewers say. The game itself is pretty solid. However, it’s severely hampered by a nonsensical reward system and a gameplay that is set up to make you pay to advance. You win chests when you win a match, but the chests take 3-6 hours to open (unless you pay). I’m currently stuck on level 5 because I need 3000 coins to pay for the upgrade. Each chest yields 15-ish coins, so I’ll be stuck here for a long time… The game encourages you to make purchases and watch ads at all steps. And gameplay is slow and often rigged. I like the mini game where you have to pot all balls and don’t have to wait for the bot you’re playing to fiddle around before they make a shot. However, you can only play the mini game once per hour. If I could play the mini game more I would stick around. But this game is going in the trash.

Better than most

Love pool, i come from the age old yahoo pool era. Gotta say Infinity8Ball is better than most. There are some issues you would have to put up with though.
1. Glitches, balls disappear during gameplay
2. Crashes/disconnections - not too often but it is annoying cause it takes 1-2 minutes of your time
3. Graphical interface slows everything down, you have to wait for things to pop up and sometimes click multiple times before it activates what you’re clicking on cause the graphical videos have to play (offers/stars being added etc)
4. Lots of bots, there are days where you will play with bots all day, and they all play the same way so its easy to tell.
5. Most annoying of all is when you are participating in a challenge and strike out, it gives you the option of paying crystals to continue or - get this - “give up”. And after you click give up, it then asks if you are sure, so you have to click give up again. This is a poor way of getting people to spend crystals by attacking their self esteem. For this, you get minus two stars alone. I dont know about you but it doesnt feel good clicking on give up constantly throughout the day just cause i dont want to use crystals to continue…

Expectations

I expected so much from this game and they did not fail me. I am a casual pool player but I have wanted to improve my game and Infinity8Ball has allowed me to do just that. My hubby use to play pool on a regular basis and whenever we played together he would tell me “watch this shot, the ball will end up here” and it did and I was impressed. I guess it’s called “shape the shot” but if I’m wrong I apologize. Nevertheless this game has allowed me to play a better game and for this I am truly great full. Thank you to the creators!!!

It’s ok

I like this game but why can’t we set up our own name and picture and play friends we know that some of us do t have Facebook and don’t want it. And I think we should be able to buy gems with our coins cause we basically can’t get anywhere without gems and you can win more coins then gems and I think we should be able to communicate more then what we can with the little bit of words that are given its a fun game but why should we have to purchase things to get ranked up it takes FOREVER TO RANK UP I think that’s why we should be able to buy gems with our coins. But it is a fun game to play.

Not enough, for enough money spent

When you pay money for in-game items, there should be significant rewards. When you buy into a weekly rewards program the rewards should be significant. Everyone loves to play pool. This game makes it easy for people who can’t play pool in real life, to play pool. And play it well. Eventually, everybody gets tired of spending money. This game leans toward spending money. You can only advance so far, then you have to spend money. This will be the deciding factor for people to stop playing.
I will get tired of playing this game without advancing and I’m already tired of spending money on this game with not enough coming back. Without enough rewards to keep me happy, I’m almost gone. I’m literally on the way out.

Too many bots!

I was really into this game for a few days until I put 2 and 2 together to realize that too many of your opponents are not actual players, but bots. That’s fine if you just want to waste some time on a decently entertaining game but you’ll soon realize that your “opponent” begins missing shots that any one should be able to make… especially with the shot guide they provide. You can see your “opponent” line up a shot that will obviously miss and there is no adjustment, they just take the shot and it misses. Again, entertaining enough if that’s what you are looking for but you are mostly not playing against another actual person. Due to that, I’ll stop playing this game.

Keeps loosing my award amounts and no advancement

I love this game, been playing it for weeks (maybe months) now, but I am deleting it because I have come to a point where I can no longer advance without paying. I’m willing to watch all the ads they want, but now I still have to pay. Also, and mostly, Infinity8Ball keeps taking my gem awards. I had over 800 gems (which are hard to come by), used them three times (20 at a time), then it showed I only had 60 gems. Where’s the math in that?? This is not the first time it has happened either. You have a great game here, but come on, keep a good tally of award amounts and let people advance in the game with watching ads instead of having to pay. You get your money with the ads, why should I have to pay?

By

Love the game but the ranks & rewards don’t make sense…

I started playing a few weeks ago and am obsessed but after more 300 wins was stuck at rank 2 and baffled as to why! The game only has one vantage point and the orientation is vertical both of these features are advantages over other games. It usually goes quickly and it’s very addictive if you love pool! Other pool apps don’t compare.

** CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR Infinity8Ball IS NON-existent so don’t bother. I would suggest not purchasing anything with your CC for this reason. I have made purchases with gems (free in game) and didn’t get the items so be aware.

Good program BAD support

This is a fun program to play, but it constantly has network issues with their server since their last update. I’ve notified them several times , but their response is to turn of my iPhone off and turn it back on. This doesn’t solve it , so they suggest you remove it and reload. This will work for a few games then you continue to get network issue of reconnecting, but it never does. I have to reinstall constantly because I can’t get the game to start. It starts by checking for updates, but gets stuck on trying to connect to their game server. Yet, I can start and run any other program on my iPhone without a network issue. This is their problem and they need to solve it.

Awesome game WITHOUT forced ads!!!

I love this game. It is fun and challenging and a great way to relax. There are several different games you can play beyond the regular pool table. My favorite feature of this game is NO FORCED ADS!! There are all kinds of rewards for watching ads so if you want to watch you can. You also do not need to spend real money to play the game either, while there is all kinds of stuff to buy so if you want to spend money it’s completely optional.

Almost 5 stars

This game is great and I love it but watch your gems I noticed this morning when I started my game I had six gems I played a game Then at the end it offered me a chance to double up on the 20 gems that I won I watch the video now in my math 40+6 is 46 I collect my 40 gems I go back to play another game and there’s only 40 why are my six gems gone so this game would get five stars but it kind of ripped me off so just be careful I sent a notice to the developers and I’m waiting for a response if they give me my six gems back it will be a five star game

Confusing prizes

I enjoy this game to a degree. Not sure what all the categories of “prizes” are or what to use them for. It’s definitely set up to get the player to buy buy buy chalks, other stuff. It seems you hit a level and you’re stuck there unless you “buy in.” I find some of the competitors immature and less than good sports. Like with the “I never miss,” gloating comment and sunglasses emoji. And, the earned money just up and disappears. No idea where that goes. Anyway, for lack of a better pool game, this one is okay. Could be simplified and improved. A lot of annoying bot competitors, too.

Love this game until I woke up this morning

Been playing this game for a very long time making a lot of progress loved it have been laid up for six weeks spent more time than you can imagine playing this game woke up this morning to start my routine and collect my prizes and every thing I had was wiped out when I hit the button for Infinity8Ball it went to the tutorial and I had to start all over very disappointed don’t know if there’s anything anybody can do but I’m hoping if there is you’ll be able to find me on Facebook because of this review

I love this game!!!

This game is addicting! Doesn’t take long to play a game and the next thing you know, it’s been 30 mins. Not a big fan of all the “extra” things you have to do to collect free coins, gems, etc. It’s confusing. You don’t know what you’re collecting things for or how to use all the bells and whistles. However, the way the game is set up is a lot of fun. If you’re interested in pool, even a smidge, you’ll enjoy this one.

Needs a lot off work

First off the timer thing has to go but worst off all is if you are trying to take a shot on the right side your pool stick is covering the power shoot thing and wile your lining up your shot it shoots before you line up your shot. This is terrible and happens at least two or three times a game. You have to touch that area otherwise you can’t move your stick and it automatically shoots before you even move your stick. This kills all the fun because I’ve lost countless game because of this. That’s why I gave it two stars. You need to fix that or I’m just going to Delete it.

Good game, but designed for pay-to-play

I like the game overall. It’s fun to play and offers many additional challenges like polygonal tables, so you can practice your skills and earn additional “currency” if you do well. I especially like the Daily Challenge and the Journey that lets you earn journey coins to exchange for wildcards to then exchange for items needed to upgrade your cues.

However, what I don’t like is that the game is designed to give a significant advantage to players that purchase a weekly gold pass or other offers. There are tiers that you can climb, but they don’t reflect the skill of the player. They reflect how much you spent in the game. I was able to advance to the Master division without buying the gold pass, but it’s getting nearly impossible to get further without the gold pass. The new Kingdom mode is even worse. It’s designed to require you to purchase to progress to the next level.

So, my suggestion to Playorca is to design the game that allows skilled players to get promoted. It’s ok to give some advantage to people who are willing to pay, but if you can’t get to the top without paying then good skilled players will abandon your game and go elsewhere. Your leaderboards are not reflecting skill at all. They are only reflecting how much someone paid you.

Power bar location

Love this game. However, if I could change anything it would be to have the power bar automatically switch sides if your shot is on the side you have the power park set to. All too often, I’m trying to aim and finger and stick kind of cover my view of the power bar. So while I think I’m lining up my shot, I’m actually adjusting the power and then accidentally shoot the ball. 99% of the time I miss that turn because of course the shot is way off. When if the power bar jumped to the other side if I’m shooting where it normally is, that mistake could easily be avoided.

I agree with some of the other reviews in that the two competing players should be able to chat. Of course that would need some kind of monitoring or chat rules so people don’t get outa hand, but it’d be good to say things other than the quick phrases allotted.

Unlike other users, I never have issues with too many ads. If you want whatever is offered for an ad, watch it…if u don’t, don’t! Simple as that! Some other games I won’t even play anymore because the amount of ads is just insane. This one is decent and ads aren’t interrupting aggressively so you can’t enjoy enough actual play time.

If it weren’t for the power bar being in the way on the right side when you’re shot is there, and the fact players can’t converse, I would totally give it 5 stars!

Thanks for the game! Keep up the good work!

Starts off good but gets crummy.

At first the game is fun, the play is nice and pretty much unlimited, the music is repetitive but calming, and graphics and sensory vibrations are well done. although there's too many side quests and mini games... but after a couple weeks it gets frustrating.
You start getting less and less starting breaks (instead of 50/50, you get about 1/10), and a lot of players break and run, so it's a huge disadvantage. The bots are obnoxious and slow down the game a lot. You can recognize them by a very deliberate step motion around the table until they find a ball, almost like the hand of a clock. You'll also start getting many more misses and scratches that are hard to explain. if you're trying to figure out why, the reason is the directional arrows become skewed or misrepresented. I was getting a little irritated, so I tested this theory with a straight edge of a business card. I would line up the shot perfectly, but the ball would go slightly left or right of the intended direction unpredictably. I'm assuming this happens if you don't spend money on the game, but it's definitely shady. It's not just the target ball, the cue ball will carry a different direction than the line shows as well, and then roll way longer than it should, right into a pocket in a way that makes zero sense.
Rigging the game isn't going to make me spend money on it, I'll just delete it off my phone.

Rules

This, this is a great pool game, but have a few questions. First it has different pool game rules for instants. Once a person breaks if a ball goes in that’s the seed you get, in this game you have to pocket at least 2 to 3 balls and that still doesn’t give you the suit you thought you got. The second thing is our question is the aiming rods aren’t consistent and hitting the ball and where it goes sometimes it goes in the pocket and the player does the saying hitting aiming the same way in the ball still does not go in. Two mini awards and you do not tell us what we can do with all these awards and the shapes that we get to choose from. Doesn’t explain how we can use all the points that we have one. One WONE the next or the point system thing is you have won. Does it ever get to the point where I can increase numbers that you give me such as going from five to level six and you pool stick explanations? It’s impossible to go to the next level up other than that it’s a great game if you like playing pool and don’t worry about the awards and the point system. Please inform the thousands of people who play this game and I have befriended no at the beginning of opening up the game. How does certain works?.

Great game…obnoxious players

I love this game. It’s a regular go to for me if I’ve time to kill. It deserves five stars, but I’m giving it four as a warning to future players. Some of the people who play this game think it’s cute to drag out their shots by moving the cue stick back and forth like they’re some kind of 1940s radar operator, slowly zeroing in on their target. Once or twice, sure, but on every shot?! Similarly, even though you can simply tap the screen to quickly point the cue at a different part of the table, the new time-wasting game seems to be, instead of shifting one’s aim a few degrees left, they use the cue to rotate their aim the other direction, usually really close to a full 360°. It’s a slow, unnecessary act, and seems to be growing in frequency and popularity with some players. This kind of behavior drags out the game, and kills a lot of the fun. Given you’ve got a about a 60 second shot clock eat shot, you can end up sitting there for almost eight minutes while people inconsiderately waste your time. I’m not proposing people rush through their shots. Take all the time you need. But, don’t take more time than you need. We’re both here to have fun, so let’s be considerate of each other, please.

Love/hate relationship

I will only give this addicting game that I love so much 4 stars. The first issue is you have to pay for your own rewards especially if you want to keep advancing. you have to pay coins to spin the rigged prize wheel so it makes it harder to level up. You quite literally have to pay for everything besides that horrible infinity chalk. There is a HUGE issue witch hacks, though I admit it is pretty cool seeing the Egypt Pool stick being used on the Sakura pool table or on the Alps table. All the money people do put out on this game, it could be updated big time, allow people to talk without having to pay gems for little phrases that you don’t even wanna use half the time. You really have to pay to say “hi”. The emojis are limited and lame unless (again) you pay. The 4 stars go to the excellent challenges, the awesome people who are good sports who make it even more challenging without using mods or hacks to get promotions, and the designs of the pool sticks, and the new challenges that will match a theme of some sort.

Great challenges

This game overall is a great app to look at challenges on the billiards table. But that being said, some of the items that you try to acquire are really hard to get. Infinity8Ball really relies heavily on spending gems in order to succeed in various parts of the games, and it takes a LONG time to gather up enough to make any sizable effort on the games. (Of course that is w/o) having to literally pay for large amounts of coins or gems to get really interesting pieces within the game. The kingdom challenge isn’t really worth the play style, due to you can’t really rank up higher than a knight, it does show the other levels, but some “cue parts” are impossible to get, so you are basically stuck on the knights level and can not progress no matter how many games you win or chests opened up. But that’s not it say other games on Infinity8Ball aren’t just as fun. Overall the game is great fun, and is highly recommended by this player.

Very good game

Very good game, no forced ads. Watch ads if you want to but you can play as long as you want and not see any if you choose. There are offers that cost money but, again play as much as you want and don’t spend any money at all unless you want what is offered. The game play is good. You usually play against other players so the game play is challenging and isn’t static. If I sound like a fan, I really am. The initial screen isn’t obvious as far as play options go but it doesn’t take much time to figure out. Then it’s pure joy playing opponent after opponent. The other players seem friendly. Sometimes it’s apparent you’re playing against the computer, though. Game play is similar although the computer seems to miss a few more shots than a skilled opponent would, but it generally plays very well.

Game is extremely rigged and is copyrighted really hard

This game seemed fun at first, but then just makes you feel like it’s not even worth it to play. When I first started, I was dying of laughter of how much they’ve copied Clash Royale 🤦‍♂️
The fact that they have cards from CHESTS to upgrade, a battle pass looking almost the exact way as CR, the home menu doesn’t have much difference from CR since they have tabs on the bottom which takes you to the challenges, “play” otherwise known as BATTLE, upgrade section with the cards, a store and a friends/connect section just all makes it sad to know they barely put any effort on making their own game just to make money.
If they actually didn’t just copy another whole different game and didn’t rig the entire game to wait for you to spend money, then the developers could actually make way more money…
The game is rigged on how often you’ll get to break, which is almost never. And it’s also rigged on where the ball actually goes since the arrows can be perfectly aligned and you can still miss 🤦‍♂️

By

Love it

So I’ve been playing for a few weeks and I really like the game …..there are no intrusive ads like most games. There are ads but you chose if you want to watch them. You do not have to spend money to win and you do play other real people. The graphics are really nice and game play is very life like. The reason for only 4 stars is for the annoying pop ups I truly hate when game’s constantly try to get you to pay money for perks. You definitely play bots frequently and can tell because of there style of play and they do not use emoji chat. It is sometimes fixed when you play a bot but it’s so slight you wouldn’t notice unless your looking for it. The bots will miss an easy shot once in a while to let you win and make impossible shots so you lose but it’s so slight it doesn’t really bother me enough to stop playing the game. I do recommend this game it is very fun.

Addicting

The game simulates the mechanics of pool very well. It you like pool or want to learn how to play it it’s a fun game and you can learn some of the trickier shots many people don’t know.

It is NOT completely “geometrically accurate” and will purposely cause you to scratch and get hooked behind balls at times (this happens in real pool too of course) so it’s a matter of learning the games “eccentricities” and playing around them. Be prepared for some frustration.

You’ll be playing bots a lot of the time but they seldom beat you. Their purpose seems to be to stretch out the game. I actually like this because I can then try some trick shots (banks, kicks, caroms, etc) with little fear of actually losing.

There are ads, naturally. But you choose to watch or not and you get paid if you do, with rewards that enable you to progress in the game. It’s actually pretty cool, and a fair way to do it.

You can pay money for stuff if you want (and eventually you will want to) but I’ve got 5000 matches under my belt in 4 months and haven’t paid a cent. You can keep playing pool forever for free, and you can make progress to the upper levels too, it just takes more time to collect the cards, coins, and gems needed to do so.

Very unhappy

I do love playing the game. But I have now been screwed out of 1000 gems. I save my gems to make larger purchases in Infinity8Ball and use my saved gems. And yes the do have a place on Infinity8Ball to send them a message, I did so a week ago but I never heard a wood back from them. I sent another message just now, let’s see if I hear anything. So with all of that said do not buy anything that costs actual money. You will probably get screwed and start randomly having stuff pop up and then you have no choice to say no I don’t want to use my gems to buy it. This last time it was 2000 or so common wild cards. I already have over 20,000 common wild cards, I would have never pressed buy now for that. Remember don’t spend real money on any of the packs they sell with coins, gems, wild cards, pool cue parts and treasure chests because you will have problems with stuff popping up and you being charged gems for something you never bought. Yes I am mad about this, but as I said there is nothing I can do because they never get back to you.

By

Hesitant

I love the game, I’m completely addicted, first thing I do when I get up, last thing I do before I go to bed. However, in my opinion it’s all mucked up with confusion. There are too many different cards/coins to obtain and you don’t know what you need or how to obtain them. You can trade some thing for something but you’re never sure why or how to do that. It appears that you’re making progress and then you go backwards. You never really sure how to make progress. And I’m sick of playing the sicko bots, who appear to be more interested in blocking me instead of hitting their balls. The guidelines for bank shots are sometimes way off. In addition, I belong to the FB group and hear other players complaining of glitches. I just wish the reward system could be simple and clear.

A favorite game but not without issues

This is definitely my favorite game.? It is well designed and is the best pool game in the store. My gripe has to do with its somewhat deceptive ways of presenting ads and “gifting” awards.

1. Ads are presented very rapidly and positioned such that clicking-to-buy buttons overlay other click-to-play buttons or areas. In the playing mode, it’s easy to click too fast and find yourself at the point of buying offers. This is a terrible intentional design and practice. How many players ended up purchasing junk they did not want to precise because they clicked too fast? Aside from purchasing with money, the same approach is used for getting the user to use up game resources (game money or gems, etc). I understand supporting development and making profit, but do not appreciate the deceptive ad-servicing model. This is my biggest gripe with this game.

2. Sections of the game are obviously rigged. For example, the “wheel of fortune” never lands on the 200 gems at the start and very rarely later. The distribution of these “awards” are not randomized as they would like people to think, another deceptive practice.

Overall, it’s a fun game, but players, slow down and be aware of your clicking.

Too many ads, unreasonable price to remove

Great game overall but definitely finding myself playing less since the update. Great gameplay, very realistic physics on the shots, excellent ability to play with friends and match globally. Used to be ads were supported to get daily deals, chalk, coins, etc. which was fine and truth be told I ended up watching and clocking on waaaay more ads than I ever had for a mobile game. Now with the addition of banner ads and unskippable ads between rounds, the game is contested. It takes away all of the aesthetics and makes me disinterested in playing another round after a game is completed. There’s an option to remove ads which I probably would have paid for if it wasn’t seven dollars. Honestly not sure why they didn’t keep the old model of opt-in ads. Probably good in the long run though honestly, at least I’m on my phone less now

Starting over

Great game, it’s just I had it on my old phone, when I switched to the new one there was an error. So I then had to manually move all of my apps, to the new one. I had the game for several months on the old phone, but couldn’t even ever figure out how to change my user name. I then wasn’t able to figure out how to secure my account, so now I’m starting over. I think I was finally getting close to them allowing me to change my name. But I don’t know, others seem to be able to change their names, maybe my account could of been secured and saved. But there is no help option, to ask questions or frequently asked questions answers either, to look through. There is probably a simple way to change your user name, and to secure your account, but I just can’t figure it out.

Fun but…

If you’re playing just to play it’s fun, but it’s definitely a rip off if you’re wanting to place rank. You rotate through… maps/campaigns? Not sure what to call them, but there are themes for the tables where you earn cards to get enhancements on your cue and level up through the leagues. And you rotate through them for an allotted amount of time. You packages that can level you up with coins and gems, but as soon as they switch maps/campaign, you have to purchase all over again.

Then they make you pay to redeem rewards… call me crazy, but it’s not a prize or reward if you have to put money on it.

And the worst part, is when playing against a competitor, if you pot a particular ball, especially more than one, so say 3 stripes, but the next shot you make is a solid, then you’re a solid and your competitor got 3 free balls… it makes me livid.

Absence of Empathy is evident

Empathy is all about thoughtfulness in helping others. So many players still don’t know they can Tap to Aim, so frustrating watching someone drag the cue stick 360 degrees and all the game programmer has to do is to suggest to these players the option of Tap to Aim every time this happens, or just plainly have a pop up whenever player is dragging a 360 to aim, and there are so many rewards and trophies for useless other rewards, none of which are interesting or actually useful, yet there is no reward for a Rack and Run, such as deleting one of the losses from the scoreboard, not even a trumpet sound, if they want to truly make this game addictive, reward it properly, a Rack and Run deserves deleting a loss from scoreboard, so that my winning can come a little higher, make a trumpet sound, make a bell ring, something. Other than that, it’s a cool game, only needing programmers with empathy.

Fun and realistic

I like this pool game since it’s realistic and mimics an actual pool table. I like getting “promoted,” though I don’t know what process is used for that. What frustrates me is the gems. I wish you didn’t need so many gems or have to pay for them because they seem to be used up very quickly and I feel like they are a waste of money. I really enjoy the chalk variations. I just recently figured out that they help you aim and shoot. Also, I get pretty annoyed when the cue stick is on the bottom behind the chalk area as it makes it hard to aim it in the right direction. There’s simply not enough room to maneuver. Why not put the chalk icon off to the left, out of the way? All I all, I really enjoy playing this game despite its shortcomings.

My favorite game

I love this game. I have missed playing pool. This has given that back to me. The game in general is good. The way it is set up you have opportunity to play with others and against yourself with many different challenges. It helps you get better. The only thing I don't like is so much is pay to play. I can't afford that so I am held back. My game often freezes up and when that happens your opponent often wins automatically. The slide of how hard to hit the ball gets in the way often so its almost like having the challenge of a wall in your way on the right side. It would make the game much better if you were able to move that for certain shots. Also I often time out when trying to select the right angle. Another 5 seconds would be greatly appreciated. I do understand why its timed though. I just typically finally get the right spot and it times me out before I can actually shoot so a couple more seconds and I would get the shot in. It just creates more of a challenge which can be good just irritating for now. Still good game. Love it. Addicted to it. I was actually sad and glad I got locked out for a week. I needed a break.

Get ready to watch a bunch of commercials!

This is a fun game with nice graphics, but it really has more drawbacks than it is worth. First thing- the commercials! My gosh for every little thing you have to watch a commercial. There are chests that you have to watch a commercial to get & then you’re offered a bonus, but wait for it…..because to get the bonus, you have to watch another commercial!!!
Second problem is that if you don’t play everyday & keep up with all of the side games, you actually get demoted in ranks. I realized the amount of time that I was spending on this game trying to keep up with all of the “special” games & not to mention again the commercials, it was just clearly too much time invested into a game on the internet.
Count me out on this one!!! At first I really enjoyed it, but after a while you guys really wore out your welcome. I just wanted to play pool but, I’ll be deleting this game.

Super fun, but ads not loading is a drag!

I love the graphics and the gameplay, but to get the good stuff you have to watch the ads. Unfortunately they rarely (and pretty much never) load the first time. I always have to press the “play ad” button twice, if not 3-5 times. What a bummer! Why not pre-load several ads into the game, then play them from inside the game and then they won’t have to load every single time!

Also here’s a fun suggestion: since it’s a video game, you can make up new rules right? How about having some feature where you can sabotage your opponent? Like send a lightning bolt, or add a temporary bumper to block a winning shot? I get bored just watching my opponent run the whole table and I can’t do anything and never even get one shot! LAME!

It’s okay

There are things I just don’t get when I make the exact combo and rail shot I expected and it takes my turn away. It seems to only allow you to call a pocket and accept the shot if you shoot it directly in the pocket without combos, banks or touching anything else. There isn’t any way to call your exact shot so that you do not loose a turn.

Otherwise it’s good for slopshot and people that are less experienced. The one thing I hate are those I call the circle people. For some reason many players move their cue only counter clockwise and thus to do a shot they can be right on the ball they want to hit and yet turn 359 degrees to make each shot. It drives me nuts and many times I just quit because I can’t stand watching the cue circles. Do they not understand you can point the cue any direction? Ugh!

Fun but inaccurate ball movement

I really enjoy playing this game for the most part. I also really appreciate that the ads are not forced and only are there if I choose a reward and want to watch a video. However, the ball movement in this game is not very accurate. An example would be that nearly every shot. I shoot whether I use spinTo the sides or back, the game shows where the cue ball will carry them to end. It almost always, is a scratch or close to a scratch for me. However, when the opponent shoots, even though they don’t put spin and the car meter shows that the cue ball will go right into the pocket it almost never does, and they rarely ever scratch.
So either your metrics for spin or your metrics for Karam are not very good. And I’m telling you this as someone who has played pool, my whole life and I’m pretty good at it.

Not enough gems

When I first started to play this, it was fun. The ads where far and few between. But the longer I played it the gems became less and those are the biggest things you need to play the special games. The ads became more and more. I had to watch an ad just to open a chess that I knew on the last number to hit, number 1, that it would be another ad. You would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that I have to watch an ad just to watch another one. Once the ads started they were like 5 second ads. Those I could deal with. But playing the special games, and not getting enough gems, and having maybe a 5 minute ticket to play that game sucked. Time was spent more on watching ads than playing a real fun game. Since all this happened i was forced to delete the game but I wanted to try it again just so I could express my concerns. I know these games cost but keep the ads out of the openings of the chess. It got to a point I was watching TV anyway and not paying attention to the ad. Sometimes, less is more and more is too much.

Infinity 8 Ball

I’ve been playing this game for years and I absolutely love it.. You don’t have to watch any of the ads, unless you want to get game add one and coins to use for in-game purchases. You don’t have to pay any fees, unless you choose to. You’re not tricked into anything at all. This is a high-quality game that is free. Sometimes, I choose to buy add-ons. You can buy more gems for a reasonable price and you can use the gems to buy different things to help you along in the game. It’s just a great game. They don’t to con people and say that you can make money. Because you can’t. it’s a great game and I recommend it to anyone who likes to play pool on line.. One thing that is a bit annoying is, the advertisers are not always honest. Especially about playing Solitaire for money. You can never make money playing Solitaire. It’s just impossible.

The game play is fine, it's all the extra stuff that is annoying. Everything costs money. I have no idea how to upgrade cues because it's entirely too confusing. You can buy stuff with money, coins, gems, or a mixture of them but it costs a lot of each and takes FOREVER to accumulate them through game play. At this point, I just stick to the playing a few games vs other people or the Star Challenges. This game has potential but it just takes entirely too long to upgrade ranks and cues.
