I hope the developer will continue to support and develop GuitarChordProgressionSongwriter. It has the best selection of chords, is easiest to play, has midi out, pretty great. I would prefer that all of the features were in one screen (maybe tabs instead of entering and exit gin screens), but so far, that's a small complaint for the quality provided.

I got new iPad Pro 4, invested $20, but now it crashes all the time and the UI is broken too, buttons doesn't work as expected.

I think it's due to iOS 10, hope it gets fixed asap. Otherwise I would've increased the rating as well.

I am so impressed. This is one of the best purchases I have made. So fun and so easy to use to make really really good music. Buy this!

It’s a decent app but it’s obviously amateur and to unlock any features you need to pay $20!
This is a $5 app at most, not a $20 one.

i got this to experiment with chord progressions for song writing but there’s an extremely limited selection of chords and you have to pay $20 to be able to get more??? it doesn’t make sense

Unfortunately, it arbitrarily deletes songs.

Ill keep this short, if you play guitar or want to write songs, what do you have to lose ? get GuitarChordProgressionSongwriter NOW! Yes if you want to change key or export you'll have to pay a couple of bucks but chances are like me you'll upgrade after only a few minutes.

There is so much packed into GuitarChordProgressionSongwriter that it was initially overwhelming. I recommend watching the video a couple of times to really understand.

Oh and two gotchas I only discovered after a while:

The little pick icon strum buttons can be scrolled. And if you press and hold on one then touch another finger on a chord name you can lock that chord to that strum style.

To the developer please add email sharing as I'm finding iTunes a little cumbersome.

I'm a long time guitar teacher. One of the best things i ever did for myself was learn how drums work by programming a drum machine to play songs i knew. I'm still looking through this thing, but it looks like a great way to really learn how songs and accompaniment are put together - if i dig it over the next week, i'll even drop the $20 for the full version - it will export midi for me to drop into pro tools :)

This is the best app I've run across for creating and nurturing a guitar based song idea.

Creating strum patterns, picking individual notes and selecting or building absolutely any chord you would like makes it super simple to try out different progressions and ideas.

Best thing out there for what I need - One-handed use and ability to go through the entire diatonic chord progression with the addition of pentatonic nodes of chord usage. Helps to memorize all the songs I work on. Thanks guys for putting this out - the ability to record is just a nice bonus for me!

The stupid thing says I have the pro version but when I try to use all the features it says pay for upgrade. Then when I try to pay for it, it will not allow me because I have the pro version already. Someone help!!

I'm a songwriter at heart, but besides loving music & carrying a tune, I have no musical abilities. This made it SOOO easy to put music to my lyrics! Very easy to navigate & use, even without knowing a stitch of musical theory!! Thank you for this amazing app!!

Get idea and execution- plenty if help and even a 4+min tutorial- not exactly or even remotely what is an looking for but certainly worthy of a positive rating and high marks considering. Thanks!!

It's nice for brain storming and everything but there is no way to print it out or export or share a file

I haven't used it that much, so I can't give 100% confidence to may 5 stars, but so far, it looks really promising.
