TVB新聞 used to see live of the news, but not anymore. Why?

Not to mention the annoying ads, it’s an extreme disgrace that this so called news reporting team practices self censorship for public opinion manipulation.

The whole company is eagerly demanded to be completely shut down by the mass majority in Hong Kong. And hopefully this will happen soon one day, for the bitter fruit it planted. The whole team of the department should also deserve their doomsday trial, for allowing this misfortune continues while staying ‘neutral’ and indifferent.

I am surprised an official app from this company try to show so many ads. I once suspected if this is a fake company just trying to get some money from ads. Come on, you are not a individual developer who needs to make a living from the ads. Even if you want to show ads, show less please. You show ads more than any game I played.

TVB新聞 forces you to watch a video advertisement every time before watching any news clips that are less than a minute long. It’s so painful when you want to watch news in loops. I had to uninstall it.

Release note says performance tuning, but actually removed the video stream for U.S users. Why can’t they be honest to users? Now I know why so many Hong Kong people don’t like TVB. Well done.

Cannot watch like regular news after updated. Terrible! Hope they can make some changes soon. Otherwise they aren’t get 5 stars!

Very annoying ads keeps on popping up as soon as you tap, I haven’t even get to watch anything and saw like 3 ads already, uninstalling

The playback only has sound while the video cannot be played. The livestream is working.

I thought TVB is the best HK channel, TVB新聞 has been offered in US App Store, and was working great until the latest update....

It blocked the US region and now cannot steam video, only audio for TV channel...

What good is a TV app that can only steam audio.
Hey TVB, please stop advertising that your app works in the world, because it doesn’t !!

The smooth streaming, professional and elegant presentation of news and programs, and great quality of picture and sounds make it one of my favorite apps! I have been watching these channels for many years. They have become a part of my daily life. For the ads which another reviewer mentioned, I don’t have ads for my usage of TVB新聞. Not sure if it’s because of the region in which the user is in, and in my case, I am in North America.
