WHAT S UP Reviews

Year after year “this app” tells us all they are working on English language support and it never comes. Either they only have seasonal interns working on it or they honestly do not care. This is the slowest app development in history. And now with the biggest tourism boom the country has seen in a long time, they still do not support English as a bare minimum. The competitors offer English 🤷🏻‍♂️.
Also on the website as well as on WHATSUP , there is no customer support. They miss manage data and double book your purchases and in the end you only get half of what you paid for. Simple automation stuff. Not to mention the 50text messages you continuously get, bombarding you with useless information and specials. Bravo OTE ta kataferete pali.

Apparently they have the best esim service in Greece but WHATSUP isn’t in English soooo I guess I’ll never know. Don’t bother downloading if you don’t know Greek!

Useless if you don’t read Greek. In this day and age it should not be beyond the developer skills to have other language options. Or even an embedded language translator software.

Very difficult for non-Greek speaking customers to use.

If you don’t read Greek you’re lost with WHATSUP.

I had a difficult time a using this as a traveler who doesn’t speak Greek

For years Cosmote has been promising to provide WHATSUP in English. Nothin just promises. Vodafone offers instructions now. Goodbye Cosmote

WHATSUP is poorly designed with no English functionality, although it says there’s an English version in the description. The majority of people buying this SIM card are international travelers. Furthermore, I am unable to add more money to the account and am stuck without internet until I can buy another SIM. I would highly recommend purchasing your SIM through another provider.

Please consider adding English language as many residents dont speak greek

Why there is not English language???

The apps works well, however English version is needed. Contacted couple of time their team in Facebook but so far no English version is available. Hope the developers will listen to the needs for the customers!

Looks like a good app which has been ported into Greek, pity there are no options to change language.

WHATSUP works well but I wish there were language options.

Good app but hard to navigate, is the an English version to select as my greek is a bit rusty.

WHATSUP will be fairly easy to use for the most part, it has a clear breakdown of categories and easy to use interface to add more to the category you want.

Because “What’s Up” is the most favored choice by most travelers to Greece I am puzzled why there is no English support let alone support for any other language. It seriously harms the usability of WHATSUP ; it’s absence is especially surprising considering the 1314 What’s Up hotline at least had an English phone tree

App works fine but it’s only in Greek language, all notifications come in Greek too so it’s almost not useful for tourists 🙄

I used this app for the first time. It is so easy to see your balance and customise a pack to individual requirements and needs. So simple and easy.

2 Executive decisions have limited WHATSUP only to locals, possibly a strategic ploy?

First issue is no English!
Second issue is the SMS received from app is not compatible with Google translate.
Third issue you need a Greek friend to help you navigate WHATSUP .

The internet is global, this apps language is local 🙃 SMS from WHATSUP can’t be translated by Google.

In a country where English is used more than Greek, WHATSUP has missed its target!

I love that is makes having to call to hear offers and reload data obsolete! I just wish it had an english translation
