Channel 4 was great (as usual), keeping us updated on Dorian constantly here in N E FL! My only suggestion would be to include areas of Fleming Island more often, as we’re just across the bridge from Jacksonville. Been preparing for hurricanes since before Dora in 64. No electric or school for 8 days & my brother & friends got around in a canoe in our neighborhood where we grew up in Riverside.
Don’t know why they named the storm Dorian because it seems like all the D storms are bad (Dora, Diane, Donna etc)
During Dora every teen was only worried the Beatles wouldn’t be here on their 1st American tour😂! They brought them in by helicopter, so the show went on as scheduled!

Finding out when a hurricane is coming, its Category and finally its strength is imperative. Being prepared can mean the difference between life and death.

WJXTHurricaneTracker updates every hour - at least when hurricanes are in the viewing area. This is especially helpful when you're out getting supplies and don't have access to a TV for news updates.

I'm not sure if it's showing the European model, the US model, or a split of the 2. Regardless, it was closely on track.

This is the most complete storm tracking app I’ve found so far. I live in Florida and I highly recommend anyone in a storm prone area to download WJXTHurricaneTracker. It has shown me the most information in a user friendly app. I especially like the “Tropics Watch” aspect. This shows you the areas and the percentage that the area has for a storm to be born. I love WJXTHurricaneTracker.

For full disclosure, I work for Channel 4, which produces WJXTHurricaneTracker. But even if I didn't, it would be my go-to source for all things tropical. The tracks and information are easy to understand and update immediately with each new release from the NHC. I consider WJXTHurricaneTracker a must have for anyone living in Florida or other tropical-system prone areas.

I love Chan4 news. It is the only channel I watch. I feel like the channel 4 reporters and anchors are part of my family. My Dad who passed away in 1995 loved watching George Winterly. I have watched channel 4 since I was a child. Keep up the good work guys. Channel 4 news is the absolute best news channel.

I had to uninstall WJXTHurricaneTracker because I kept getting notifications on my iPhone of Eta which happened two months ago. If we are still living in a hurricane zone next season I will reinstall at that time. It did provide good information.

WJXTHurricaneTracker should be on every device available to anyone who lives or cares about individuals who live in areas prone to hurricane effects. It is kept current and contains information organized in an easy to access format. Should be part of every hurricane kit.

WJXTHurricaneTracker is pretty good. However, it needs some improvements: I should not need to tap on the images to make them zoomable, it needs more images showing rainfall, wind, etc., needs animated images, weather videos and news, past storm trajectory, animated graphics, etc.

Mike and his team are the ONLY source we use for weather and hurricane information. Their up to the minute forecasts keep us safe and let’s us know what to expect and when. No better storm and weather coverage from any other source!

I’ve checked out several weather apps and this is the best one. It is easy to use and has simple, colorful graphics that quickly give me all the info I need to know to keep my family safe when a storm is approaching.

I discovered that the local radar function is superior to other radar apps I have tried. I live in Michigan and really like WJXTHurricaneTracker for tracking precipitation.

This station has consistently accurate, reliable weather products which are relatively easy to access and use. Recommended!

In our house, we rely on WJXTHurricaneTracker and the Weather Authority during storms. If we have evacuated, we watch from Georgia to stay up with developments in Saint Augustine.
I’ve seen the criticism of over hyping . Well, if I am warned and prepared and then dodge the bullet, I’m thankful. Hype away!

Sometimes it’s hard to tell the old info and the new info. Can you please date the images so we know what’s old and new? Thank you

Outstanding radar coverage of current weather and also great for tracking tropical systems.

When all the weather reports claimed Dorian would slam into Florida, this site gave the European and US storm tracking models showing this hurricane would come close but not land on East coast of Florida.

I would like to be able to see a map of where all are as I sometimes have to click all to locate the storm

You should update your app and remove the storm that has been there for a month.
I love WJXTHurricaneTracker for tracking local weather as well as during hurricane season.

It’s good to get quick updates on storms. All you get is weather, so you don’t have to search through all the other junk to see what you want.

I downloaded WJXTHurricaneTracker. way back when I lived in Fl. I’ve relocated to Va. and this is the best no nonsense hurricane tracker. The info I need to plan and not too much more. I don’t even bother with any of the big name sites, too much fluff.
