Great app

I am quick to give negative reviews, so I thought it high time to give credit where credit is due. This is a great free weather app. The looping for the satellite and radar is longer than any weather app on the store. The variety of satellite enhancement curves is great. Lighting is also provided. All this for free, it is one of my go to apps. Thanks so much guys for this wonderful app and all the dedication and hard work you have put into it. Again thanks so much for the long loops, this is so advantageous for seeing storms in a fluid motion.

Hurricane Tracker

You must fix the lighting tab because when you click on the tab HurricaneTrackStormTracker goes off. That is not supposed to happen. I just downloaded HurricaneTrackStormTracker and I give it four stars. Can you also have in the radar maps Atlantic and Pacific areas. Can you also go through the entire app and see what tabs are work and which one are not working and fix then all. Make HurricaneTrackStormTracker more realistic on everything that is in it and possibly add new features.

App Modified To Cover Pacific Ocean

Fantastic app! It has become the best iOS tool for DEM and Hawaii State Civil Defense during Hurricanes Iselle and Julio. I approached this developer a month ago to modify HurricaneTrackStormTracker to cover the Pacific Ocean region, the results has been far better than expected. That's why it's in our tool box now...
Update:
This was the only real time hurricane app available to use during Hurricane's Iselle and Ana that covered the Pacific Ocean. Thanks for being there for us!

Hurricane Track for IOS: Best so far

I need to keep track of tropical systems because I live in an area that's prone to them. Hurricane Track for IOS is the best app so far, and I have quite a few hurricane apps. HT allows users to view 8 different radars that show tropical system movement in a variety of colors. My favorite one is the Rainbow radar. Also, HT provides current up-to-date information.

Good thing it's free, it crashes and slow loading

For a free app it's good, but on the Projected Path when I hit the arrows at the top, which I assume is to switch between the current storms, it crashes. Now I can go the Storm Info area and look at other storms but only the current ones. It would nice to be able to look at at least the storms for this year but even better to see the archives and see the older storms like you can at NOAA's website where it's pull the info and images from anyway.
Also it takes a long time to load.

Completely USELESS

With Hurricane Sandy about to make landfall in New Jersey, the 'Radar' page only shows the Caribbean and the East Coast up to South Carolina.
'Local Satellite' flashed a tri-state area map (NY NJ and Conn) then zeroed on a static outline of North Jersey with a pixelated fuzz that never changed.
The biggest hurricane to hit NJ in that last half century, and it didn't work: couldn't track it, no projected path, no estimated landfall, nothing!.... and I guess hurricanes don't matter to anyone once they're in the North Atlantic!!!!!!
If I were a sailor in the Caribbean, it MIGHT be useful, otherwise you're better off with the Weather Channel or ANYTHING ELSE.

Weird Icons, No Text Titles?

As a Pilot who keeps his eyes on the weather - I like this Apps promises. However, I find the variety of Icons colorful but the lack titles. How am I supposed to remember which Icon gives me WHAT results? titles would be nice.

but sO would the ability to ZOOM the pictures, using typical finger Gestures, on my iphone = Result, Pictures TOO small. Cute, but TOO small for serious use.

I'll be waiting for fixes. Kiddies love it, though.

How do I control it?

I love the time lapse cloud cover part, but it goes by way too fast. I haven't found any way to control the speed of the loop, or any way to get to a help menu, or any way to contact the developer to ask questions. I'd love to see the cloud cover radar for the last month or even year made available in one continuous loop.

Exceptionally good and important app

Downloaded a few hurricane apps to track Isaac. This one best by far. Great images. Good speed (with wi-fi) when other apps failed to load at all. Could use some icon explanations but overall crucial info is accurate and timely.

No problems...

I'm not sure what everyone is having a problem with. I loaded HurricaneTrackStormTracker the first try and had no issues navigating the different options. I do agree a tutorial would be good and I will give 5 stars once I get a storm to test.

Decent App

Does what it says. Nice. Hasn't crashed or run slow, for me, yet. Could be much better if you make an ad-free version and add an option to hide the menu bars to enlarge the maps to better take advantage of the iPhone screen space. Right now, too much screen space is just wasted.

Worst tracker every

With a Cat 4 storm approaching Florida it only show track of a tropical storm off shore that is not a threat to anybody.

Only gave it four stars to move it up the chart if it had a -4 stars I give it that. Ads cover up selection bar for Atlantic/pacific

Junk, don't waste your time.

Ap slowly downloads images

App opens to radar screen and you must wait for images to slowly download. Even if what is desired is to see the latest forecast path.. And then you must wait for the paths to load. App needs to use compression to reduce downloads, needs to only download desired data, needs to work well without requiring wifi.

OMG! Prepare to be impressed!

Wow! Amazing - and useful, too. Absolutely spectacular, running graphics of several contemporaneous aspects of hurricanes.
And this is a free app?!
Get this one.
This is the best free app I've encountered thus far. Really outstanding job from HurricaneTrackStormTracker developers. Thank you.
👍👍

Hurricane track For iOS

I had high hopes for HurricaneTrackStormTracker, but as of now it is pretty much useless. No text in the advisories, slow loading, and ... Believe it or not, with Irene bearing down on the east coast...NO tracking! At least 1/2 the features do not work on my ipad2. I am removing and going with the old reliable "hurricane"! The 2 stars is for the radar which is very good after it loads.

By

When It Loads

The idea, layout, etc. is great. Two big problems: each map loads loads slowly...bigger issue is that HurricaneTrackStormTracker only loads 3 out of 10 times. I downloaded both the iPad and iPhone versions and both have these issues. Also the developer has not responded to my inquiry about this.

By

As-based

The screen shots for HurricaneTrackStormTracker didn't show the ads. I realize an app needs to make money, and I'd gladly pay for such an app. But, I was disappointed to download HurricaneTrackStormTracker and see it has ads without a purchase option.

Won't Load

Update: After deleting HurricaneTrackStormTracker twice and reloading, it now works great... Loads everytime. Has a satellite loop. Loaded once, had info directly from NOAA. Looked ok, accurate info. NEVER WOULD LOAD AFTER THE FIRST TIME! Needs alot of work.
