Hi. I’m sure you’re job is very hard. And I’d like you to I watch the weather reports like I read the Bible. But one thing I would like ALL weather reporters to know is a lot of viewers plan their daily plans and weekly plans due to weather reports. I can’t even count how many times you all have said.., and I quote “NOT A GOOD BEACH DAY”....Or .. “ The weekend is going to be “A WASH OUT “. And it doesn’t even rain. MOST times not even a sprinkle. That puts me and ALL my co-workers standing around not making ANY MONEY because there isn’t ANY Customers coming in for lunch, the pool,or the BEAUTIFUL BEACHES we All live here in south Florida. If I may suggest PLEASE don’t tell people about rain. Maybe tell them to DEFINITELY TAKE A CHANCE... if it rains there are MANY WONDERFUL RESTAURANTS that they can ALWAYS duck into and watch for RAINBOWS OR maybe come dance in the rain with all the GREAT server. as long as there isn’t any lighting. Anyway it’s just my thoughts that you you asked for LOL

Love MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG! Yeah it doesn't really give you any hurricane info that you couldn't go online and find yourself, but the convenience of having all the latest info and updates all in one place, is awesome! It puts everything you need to know, right at your fingertips! And it even notifies you of the latest advisory updates! Along with personal suggestions and information right from Max Mayfield, himself! And anyone who's been thru a south Florida hurricane knows exactly who Max Mayfield, ex-national hurricane center head honcho, IS!! A+++ Channel 10 & Max Mayfield for collaborating on this on together!

Great app to keep up with storm tracking... only gripe for me is too many notifications. Asking for local storms only does not seem to limit notifications for storms that have moved hundreds of miles away. I like the notifications for approaching storms but why the constant stream of continuing notifications for storms moved hundreds of miles away, some a thousand miles from us and dying out. It's a small issue but aggravating when it fills the notification list with useless notices for storms that passed by days ago. Let me know if it turns back for some strange reason, otherwise end the notifications when it passes. Otherwise I'd consider it an essential app for us in SoFlo. The plan and prepare section with contacts for shelters, govt assistance numbers, etc is also essential.

I moved to Miami in 2011 and first saw Max Mayfield on the ABC Channel 7- WPLG Weather reports. I was impressed with his explanation of Hurricanes and the information information related for the public’s knowledge of what’s coming our way. I downloaded the “Max Tracker Hurricane WPLG” app in 2011 and today, in the 2020 Hurricane Season, MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG continues to provide critical information for Hurricane Tracking from the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico as the storms head our way and making landfall on our US Coast.

Hurricane part of MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG is GREAT! But Your Weather App Local 10 News Max Tracker does not give FUTURE radar forecast like other Weather Apps! You only show past hour weather radar! I have already seen this looking out the window.
Also your Tv Weather station for south Florida rarely shows or gives us North BROWARD residents any weather forecast. We need to hear our weather report to. You focus mostly on MIAMI Dade area & South! Please help, BROWARD county has nothing for News Or weather Stations. Palm Beach county covers only Palm Beach County Not North Broward County! We need to watch for you weather to! Help!!

This has been absolutely wonderful for us we reside in Port Orange Florida but have been in Spain for the summer and you are our only communication besides family members so everything we see your videos you’re everything has been a tremendous help and some sort of relief or non-relief or whatever that we need just not knowing has been so terrible!! Thank you so much and the more current you can keep it the better and hopefully you can go up the coast and let us keep us informed of things that are happening

A couple of years ago, I had to move back home to Maryland from Pembroke Pines. My daughter has lived in South Florida (Miami) for many years. Channel 10 guided us through a couple of hurricanes, with the utmost accuracy. Although I live 1100 miles away, I still use Max Tracker to get accurate updated weather forecasts for south Florida. It’s the only weather channel/app that I use to prepare and ensure the safety of my daughter.

I find MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG confusing and not giving the information I’m wanting.
If you want weather, only weather., you have to listen to Volkswagen ads, or Sears Blue Crew tackling dust bunnies. When the ads are over, you get a message, “Live Feed! We’ll be right back”.
The stories they post, three days now, same stories. A picture of Beryl going below Cuba. Betty Davis in the same red dress, three days?!
Just give me a weather report. Current, detailed.

This is a great app which has been extremely helpful. I have been keeping an eye on a hurricane coming towards where I live and MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG has been giving me frequent updates that help with my planning decisions. It allows you to see the hurricanes path, where it has been, and where it will affect most. It also gives you updates on the categories of the hurricane. I highly recommend MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG to anyone looking for a great hurricane tracker!

MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG is the easiest hurricane tracking map I have found. The updates are timely and easy to find. Max lists the important information clearly without any sensationalism. It is simple to see all the proposed tracks, current cone, wind speed, etc. I used MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG through the 2020 hurricane season and it worked perfectly every time.

MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG has successfully gotten me through 2 FL hurricane seasons. I follow MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG first; last year Max showed the worse of the hurricane was going to miss our area, & it did. This year it warned me we were in the outer bands of Irma, so I prepared accordingly, & again Max was right. I also check the ‘local radar’ daily to see how long the rain will last. I recommend MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG to everyone who wants to be informed.

This weather app is the "go to" hurricane watch Tracker. I check weather several times every day. I have 4 locations that are must tracks. These locations are places where my family is located and I want the peace of mind to know what the weather is where they are at any time of day.

I like having this tool at my finger tips! I can easily see what is happening with the weather quickly! I don’t have to search and hope I’ll get a site with accurate information.. it’s clear and trustworthy!

It’s been two years since I have been using MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG. I have never been mislead or disappointed. When using MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG last year I knew that danger was bearing down on me with my visit to Dominica. Everyone told me otherwise but MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG said “danger is coming”. I decided to be crazy and follow MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG and got early flights out. Well the rest is history. If it’s huricane season I follow MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG every day. It works for me.

Like MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG but I get frustrated because it shows a map of a large area of the ocean and where the storm came from but not the area on land where the storm is heading in the US. We can’t even pinch to show the larger surrounding area.

Please can you show a larger area where the hurricane is heading more clearly? Otherwise it’s a helpful app.

I love to show my friends how MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG will show me the weather and the landscape all over the World. Use it to show what the Mosque in Mecca looks like or the Sydney Opera House. It’s never raining in Mecca and usually raining in Sydney when I look.

I also use it when I travel to see if it will rain where I want to go. Wonderful App!

Evacuated across the country from Florida to California because of Hurricane Irma. MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG helped keep me up to date. I was also able to share information quickly with my family and friends in Florida once they lost their power and internet and let them know where the storm was going.

I moved to Miami over 40 years ago and have tracked Hurricanes ever since. This is the only one I go to and rely on, day in and day out. From live local radar to emergency weather alerts. My grown children have now all switched as well, and love it.

Living in S Florida, it is a “must have” app. It’s extremely accurate and has helped in countless times predicting foul weather. I have family in LA & TX so it’s spot on to watch that part of the country as well. Lastly I use it in the Bahamas on our boat and it has helped tremendously.

The main advantage is within seconds you can see the current status of a storm.
It still needs to display the time of the update.
I have looked at all the other hurricane apps. All the others do not compare to Max. This is the only hurricane app I now have on my phone.

We love Channel 10.
Channel 10 is the only news and weather channel we have watched in (We don’t know how many years)

Very quick app wherever you may be. Think it might rain? Want to locally check and track a storm or hurricane? Within a few touches you can check the weather in your area. I've had it on my phone for 3 years now and love it.

I enjoy using it to track the storms in the Atlantic & Pacific oceans because is a quick way to picture the position, the path and magnitude of them. I also like the legend provided with each of the maps. It’s very accurate and Max Mayfield knows his job really good!

It’s the best tracker out there! I try all the others to compare, and it’s no contest. I love being able to check radar several times a day to see what’s up near us, plus being able to check other areas fast and easy. Max Mayfield is first rate. 💕

4 years of following MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG’s forecasts has made me a dedicated follower! Correct forecasts & warnings make our family aware of storms w/o exaggerated hype. Notifications also are a comfort allowing us to prepare in time for our safety. Living along the coast is definitely more predictable for us!

Any time there is a storm, I pull out the Max Tracker to get a better idea of the size, intensity, duration, and path of the cell. My only complaint is the new interface removed Max Mayfield’s picture. Part of the reason I use MaxTrackerHurricaneWPLG is because Max Mayfield is a legend, and I want him honored accordingly.
