It works better now that it was updated but is still a bit glitchy here and there and not the most user-friendly.
I would suggest when you click to get more info on something and it takes you to the web, limit how wide the text area is so it works better when you have to zoom in (the words start out super tiny so you have to zoom in).
This is an older iphone 8 with IOS 15.6 if that helps.
Also, it's a little irritating that this is the pro version but still has areas to spend money to upgrade the app.
Usually when you upgrade an app you don't want to feel like you're being pestered to spend money and still upgrade it even more as if it was still the basic version.
Overall, I do like this app better than the OEM calendar for viewing, but the stock calendar is still much easier to use for entering data.

I love that you could add a picture for special occasions like birthdays and wedding anniversaries. The only thing I have trouble with was adjusting the pictures much lower, so that I could still see some added events on the monthly view. Other than that, love that you could choose different colors on days and weekends and that you could actually turn off repeatable icons to save some space (except for the set Holidays). All in all, I love how my calendar turns out, very colorful and easy to look at. Thank you!
Huge boon to family organization

The boss and I have had this app for years (a review is long overdue!) and it has helped us organize our life far more than anything else ever did. It has also prevented many arguments.
Each of us, including the kids, have a different color. Work events have another, and it is easy to set reminders. It is easy to quickly see what is going on and who is responsible for being there…and when!
The functionality and user-friendliness of MyCal Pro far exceeds the native calendar that is on our devices. Additionally, the developer, John, responds to questions and/or addresses issues quickly and courteously.
Stop vacillating about having to fork over a few bucks to make your life better! You’ll be happy you did!
