Why did they ruin their own app? Whoever thought redesigning Amerigo was a good idea should probably just be fired. I can’t think of reason why you didn’t just make a new different app instead of replacing this one? Anyways, when I accidentally end up updating Amerigo I will more than likely just delete it because of this awful decision made by the creators/owners.

Amerigo used to downloading ad videos from websites. Since 3.0, this feature is gone. This was the main feature I used. I also used the hide from time-to-time. Luckily, that is still there. Bring back downloading and I’m a happy camper again.

You had good features to browser and download video / audio seamlessly. That with file manager would make good app. Most reviewers are disappointed you completely removed key feature paid users got Amerigo for. It is now a matter of trust and I can’t trust Amerigo.

Dear dev team the only reason i was not on the new iOS was Amerigo because of fear or losing Amerigo i decide not to upgrade to ios 11 but now you have taken Amerigo from me this all new UI is not bad but without the download feature i don't see why i should keep this anymore please return Amerigo feature or return my money thank you.! (<,!.)

This used to be a very useful app that could download videos from websites. Then, without warning, the last update removed the only feature that made Amerigo worthwhile. After the update, it is literally a completely different app. The developer has stolen a useful tool from the users and replaced it with an inferior app. Would not recommend this new version to anyone. Massively disappointed.

Purchase Amerigo when it first came out was very happy with it.. I can understand due to copyrights you had to change it... Unfortunately I no longer need Amerigo or recommend it.. It’s easier to download Firefox and share things through Files ... best of luck from a once happy customer. To the design of the original version of Amerigo “thank you” for creating magic...

When I “Tag Editor” on any song I have downloaded, it becomes unplayable. Please please fix this bug. Also, if I try to jump to a certain part of a song, it just plays the next song. Very annoying please fix these bugs

Amerigo used to be great, but now ALL WEBSITES have downloads disabled. It claims that downloads are disabled to comply with that websites terms of service, but there are literally download websites (e.g:soundcloud) that let you legally download songs, that are blocked. You press the official download button on any website, and this app says it's blocked. The website lets, but this app doesn't. And then this app lies about it.

Regarding the previous review that expressed concern about the loss of the scrubber to scroll through videos: I've had some luck with using a triple finger double tap to bring it up. Sometimes takes several tries before it responds, but it works. You'll get a "Done" button, which will restore the previous un-dismissable title bar and >> to bring back the sidebar. Until we get a better fix, this will at least let us get the scrubber up, if really needed. One star ding for this little glitch, otherwise, as they say in Italy, "FANTASTICO!" Just hope it doesn't get taken down again, I've downloaded tons of stuff with it!

Recent update was nice and fixed most of the issues. Only thing I’m annoyed with now is that gifs are always in minimized view and zooming in manually if you want full view.
Nonetheless, keep it up devs, you’re doing good work.

For a while was unable to open app due to IOS 11 issues, and patiently waited for the developers to update and I have been a supporter of Amerigo for YEARS. Great app. Have used to more than one phone. Even better for business needs.

Yes they added some awesome new features but looks like it was at the cost of those features that we all originally had downloaded Amerigo for... totally not worth it!

After update this is not the application I had and more like file manager which I could download better app than this one if you planned to change Amerigo you could do it new app and let the old stay the same you make me happy after I saw the upgrade and very sad and disappointed after. and i used Amerigo for last 10 years or more thank you for last 10 years.

The developer really disappointed us you know i had this application for more than 4 years and when ios 11 come it was not compatible with but i keep it waiting for an update and at the end the update is this bad application what a pity

do not even think about updating Amerigo, before you could even download videos and any types of files, now if you update it you will not download certain files such as videos and mp3......don’t even think about updating Amerigo because before it was amazing. i still have the old version myself.
