There was a multi agency fire in Cathedral City last night...12 Engines responding. Nothing about it on NBCPalmSprings this morning. Last night at eleven pm, KESQ led with the story, with a reporter on scene...KMIR, oops sorry...NBC Palm Springs ... led with old news.. Same effort put forth on NBCPalmSprings apparently..
When was the last time this news was updated?

awful, I'd give NBCPalmSprings negative stars if it was possible, why even have an app if you don't update it and delete old stories. nothing about NBCPalmSprings is good

It’s now July 15th and the headlines section hasn’t updated since July 6th. I downloaded NBCPalmSprings for KESQ and it constantly updates with the latest news.
NBCPalmSprings has not updated in two months. It is not news.
I liked NBCPalmSprings could hit the headlines button and see what’s going on. Apparently nothing they quit updating the news in July 5th. A news app without news is pretty worthless
I turn to your app for current information, but often find old news, especially on the weekend. Example - RV fire at Stagecoach was in your top three stories for 5 days! Become a tool and resource for Coachella Valley residents, and visitors. Make this a priority.

I allowed notifications for NBCPalmSprings. I want to get news about Palm Springs. I don’t want to get notifications about every single Olympic event. As far as I can tell, there’s no way to configure NBCPalmSprings to send me only what I want. As a result, I have to turn notifications off, which will reduce my number of visits. And, if I’m not the only one who feels this way, that may affect ad revenue because of the reduced number of visitors to the site.
The news doesn’t change from day to day, never seem to be any updating…frustrating!
While this valley news app exceeds the others, still the urgency of adding new items is lacking. I too often check for "news" in the morning and evening with nothing new reporting. It's almost as if NBCPalmSprings does not have an assigned reporter, but gets secondary attention. I'm keeping it, but ...
Most days the “watch live” feature does not work, has glitches, or interruptions. I mainly use NBCPalmSprings to watch the live news, but mostly it’s disappointing and frustrating to get news with NBCPalmSprings. I will be switching to a different local news app to see if it’s any better.

My morning routine is to get my iPad and checkout the weather, news and then Twitter and Facebook. NBCPalmSprings would be excellent for checking the news and weather only; however, it also includes my Twitter and Facebook on the same page. This makes for an easy and smooth transition, and I love it!
