Like the title says “ Good app too have “ like the traffic notifications and how each one is constantly updated till it’s cleared up. However when letting the public know too take another route/way be more specific name a route/way some folks sure could use the extra heads up. The weather notification is good as well especially living up here on the mountain. I’ve had KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield for a few years now and never had any problems. I don’t anticipate having any issues in the future. Other than the pop up adds.

I can check KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield during the day and am up to date on current affairs. It is handy and informative. I can also check the weather and see if there is a storm and where it is going. Great convenience!

This is the best way for me to keep up with the news. Local and state when I am out of town by just tapping KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield . I have tried other local stations but I find ,for me, this is all i need to keep up with the news

I didn't get to see the fight with McGregor and when I got home to see it and looked up at my phone because of a different notification they announced who won with a push notification. I didn't want the score spoiled and they ruined it for me. KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield is gone from my phone. On KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield I only wanted breaking news and weather notifications. Started using KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield when the Scrips/DishNetwork dispute started. The morning, on air anchors are great. It did provide some information for a while. However, the online writers, and curators from other sources are HORRIBLE!

Too often there is a short, "developing story" article with no follow up.
Too often there is an Orangeman Bad article written by someone with stage 4 TDS.
Too often there is an article fluffing for some leftist politician with absolutely no counter argument giving the whole story.

When the local media management returns to balanced journalism, I'll give it a try. Until then, I'll find other sources. I suggest you do too.

KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield concentrates more on reporting news that have more to do with city council meetings, local re-elections, community rallies and other not-very interesting or important news. As a Delano resident it is very sad to see that Fresno ABC 30 app is far better at reporting NEWS THAT MATTER.

Also, the channel 17 KGET app is more insightful.
KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield takes a lazy approach to its news. Additionally, much of the news is old news and updates on news are slow or last amongst other available apps.

One star for nice looks. But looks are rather deceiving in this case.

Some posts like maps or help us identify this person type of posts have pictures which you can't zoom in to take a closer look. 17 news app does allow you to zoom in. 👍🏼

Deleting KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield due to the reporting is not accurate or objective. They have used a lot of subjective reporting without researching the details. I will delete KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield and get NBCs instead. Hopefully true journalism is still alive somewhere in this town.

The format is terrible, news updates are slow and and too many of the stories are written like a high school essay. Repeating lines or paragraphs, spelling errors and punctuation errors are rampant.

Great to get the news wherever I happen to be.

Before I can even get frustrate with waiting, push notifications tell me exactly what's going on and why I'm stopped. KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield is so easy to navigate and so easy to get information. Best news app ever. Seriously

I am looking for an app that not only covers local news stories, but also gives you developments within Bakersfield like the local section of the newspaper. Would like to read about new businesses coming to Bakersfield and when they'll open here. Or local businesses closing, relocating or expanding. So far, KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield has current news which I love. Make it a Bakersfield news and local business app : )

I love the ABC23 alerts coming to my phone, especially since I work in Bakersfield now. I live in the neighboring mountain community and as the crime rate up there is much slower and we are much safer, I worry working down here. ABC 23 gives me peace of mind with their alerts, as I can go right into my app and check it so I know where not to be. Thank you ABC 23!

I’ve been having trouble with KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield for the past few weeks. I’ll start to read a story and the screen goes white (no text). I’ll close KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield , go back into the same story, am able to read a few sentences, and it goes to a white screen again. Very frustrating. I’ve stared using other local news apps more frequently, but do check from time to time to see if the issue has been fixed, but to no avail. I’m disappointed bc I really did like KERO23ABCNewsBakersfield for news info, weather, road reports, etc.

They keep me informed by alerts to my phone. If I don't want to read about a specific thing I just clear the alert. I like that they are right on top of what's happening, sometimes even before it appears on TV.

Best local news app by far. Only drawback is news updates tend to slow to a crawl on the weekends .
