I use this app daily. I keep six different translations with original Greek & Hebrew/Aramaic (plus LXX/Septuagint) texts open for every passage read in morning devotional, using the lexicological aids for word studies. This often allows me to formulate alternate translations that illuminate ... Show more passages beyond what the Amplified Bible offers.

I especially like the simple, unified interface for searching words, phrases and book&verse addresses, which is able to decipher attempts at book abbreviations without colons or other customary punctuation.

I gave only four stars simply because nothing is perfect. I believe the interface can be made a bit more intuitive. Plus, I would like to see a few of my favorite translations made available, namely the KJ2/Jay P Green, NLT and Living Bible paraphrase. I would also enjoy seeing parallel links to Haley's Handbook and reputable verse-by-verse commentaries, such as Ironside and Chuck Smith.

I have tried a number of bible apps in the past, and this one has become my go to for personal study. So far it has worked flawlessly on my iPad. Show more as gone into this app and it has been a blessing to work from it.

So if I had the power to build an app it would look like this with a couple of additions. 1) Include the Phillips New Testament in Modern English (a wonderful, insightful translation). 2) there needs to be an E. W. Bullinger Companion Bible. Either integrated into this or a separate app. Have all the notes and verse references linked, appendices linked, etc. That would be a wow!

Overall though this app is 5 stars all the way. Thank you for providing such a wonderful, rich app that will impact people’s lives in ways that cannot be measured.

One of my favorite features is the “Word” and “Verse” drop-down study. I have to take Greek and Hebrew for my degree and they have made the translations very understandable and usable. It offers the text translated phonetically with proper tense explanations. It works very well and I think it has been a real asset to my GPA. If you are looking for a great tool that is simple to use to help you glean more from the Bible, this is the one to get. It’s not complicated and you will be happy with the excellent benefits of understanding God’s Word.
