  Crappy app and waste of digital money.

  Bought this app, and used the digital key from someone else's subscription. The app doesn't update like it should meaning that I saw a " breaking news case " on the radio or tv before it ever made it in the paper. I see why the news paper is a dying thing and why they are trying so hard to go digital, but which crap apps like this they won't make it to far.

  Poor design

  The last version was better. There were graphics and video. Now none of that is available. Comparing this app to the print edition app, the print addition app offers more current information but crashed before you can read it. I would cancel my subscription to the digital if I could but it is tied to the print version which my wife needs to line the pet box.

  Does what it promises!

  The Leaf app, in addition to all other Gannett paper apps, works wonderfully and delivers what it advertises. It's also handy when breaking news happens and it shoots you a notification.

  Truth Hurts

  Yo Gannet, I've looked at all your apps, and come to a conclusion. You either need to get out of the app-making business, or seriously listen to your users and make improvements. The very few of your apps that actually have written reviews, are mostly negative. You don't have a single app rated above 3 stars... That's a sign. Read it, and take it to heart. Then change everything for the better.

  The Leaf Chronicle/USA app is much better than its predecessor. Totally surprised with the new version and its features. If you're a subscriber, get this app...you can't beat the price!

  Love the new layout.

  Many improvements. I like not updating until I want to. I like being able to chose USA Today headlines and the Stewart Houston section. Good job!
