The last version was better. There were graphics and video. Now none of that is available. Comparing LeafChronicle to the print edition app, the print addition app offers more current information but crashed before you can read it. I would cancel my subscription to the digital if I could but it is tied to the print version which my wife needs to line the pet box.

Yo Gannet, I've looked at all your apps, and come to a conclusion. You either need to get out of LeafChronicle -making business, or seriously listen to your users and make improvements.
The very few of your apps that actually have written reviews, are mostly negative. You don't have a single app rated above 3 stars... That's a sign.
Read it, and take it to heart. Then change everything for the better.

Bought LeafChronicle, and used the digital key from someone else's subscription. LeafChronicle doesn't update like it should meaning that I saw a " breaking news case " on the radio or tv before it ever made it in the paper. I see why the news paper is a dying thing and why they are trying so hard to go digital, but which crap apps like this they won't make it to far.

Over the past few weeks LeafChronicle freezes. Cannot move forward or back. Only option I've found that works is completely close LeafChronicle ; wait for several minutes then try again. At times I'll have to do this several times to be able to continue reading the paper

I enjoy the Leaf. However I wish they would update their sports section more often. Same pics and stories for weeks. Do some basketball. All new coaches and players there. Got to be some news their somewhere.

The Leaf app, in addition to all other Gannett paper apps, works wonderfully and delivers what it advertises. It's also handy when breaking news happens and it shoots you a notification.
