I made the mistake of buying the in-app purchases to use the advanced features with my Pioneer app radio. ECTouch crashes constantly and the author doesn't respond to emails 99% of the time. He responded once pointing me to directions on how to send crash logs. I sent them and got no response. Emailed again and got a response telling me to try the latest version. I did and it STILL crashes!! I emailed him 3 additional times and received NO response. ECTouch works great when disconnected from a pioneer head unit but crashes constantly when connected to my Pioneer Avic Z150 BH which defeats the purpose of using ECTouch . It is pure crap, a waste of money, and I will be complaining to apple requesting a refund which I'm sure I won't get. Avoid ECTouch, do NOT buy the in app downloads. If the author ever decides to respond and fix ECTouch I will update my review to reflect this.

I was a dummy and bought the in app purchases of ECTouch a year and a half ago when I purchased my nex4100. ECTouch has always been a broken app. 50% of ECTouch Works 25% of the time. Never have I had a smooth experience with ECTouch and got everything to work. The weather never works. No cities ever pull up in Florida when I search. Except for Puerto Rico Florida. Where ever that is. One time Long ago I did get Tampa Florida to show up. Just another failure with pioneers app radio

Serious I want a refund!!!! can the developers please respond to this review because there is no other way to get in contact with them! By far the worst app I’ve tried I just purchased the upgrade and it doesn’t even work literally crashes on me every time. Looking for a refund however the website for support isn’t even available anymore.... I’m so frustrated by now!

Worthless it’s costing me money cause your app says it works on my stereo wrong I have no intent on updating iTunes cause I’ll be damned if you charge me for something you should have not cause like I said it app don’t work says can’t play video over usb when I do it already with out you worthless app

Paid $6.99 for the advanced paid in app use. Weather won’t work. maps don’t work and when I tried to get a refund was told a non working app was not a good enough reason. Waste of money and do not recommend anyone to use it.

I don’t really think this is an app! Most looks like an icon to me! Its frozen all the times not working at all paid 7$ for app my pioneer stereo and ECTouch are both going to trash can!!

Don’t bother. App doesn’t work. If it does, it shouldn’t be this difficult to figure out.

Tune in radio doesn't stay connected it last for like a minute or two and then shows a option of disconnect or try reconnect
Can u please fix it , and if possible unlock the ability to have a fully working web browser. Tanks

I was honestly ready to return my Pioneer Appradio before I discovered ECTouch. If you're looking for a way to listen to music & use navigation like Waze or Navfree at the same time, THIS IS IT! I have two critiques: there doesn't seem to be a way to search for music on a connected ipod/iPhone, just alphabetical sorting. Second, the integrated maps are totally useless.

Web Radio worked fine until I switched phones. I uninstalled and reinstalled it hoping it would correct the issue but now I back on the trail version.

i like how everything is being controlled through the head unit. I did see a few bugs. Like the video player. it has no controls. i had to play around with it and noticed u can forward parts by pressing underneath the video. The videos also are not full screen. N the worse is to exit the video player your going to have to quit ECTouch and open back up because there is no home or back button.
But besides this its a great app. Has lots of potential. and way better than the stock app radio app. i recommend it. By the way all the features are going to cost you in app purchases. 3 dollars for the video player, web browser, Facebook, and 5 dollars just to be able to use the tune in radio app.

It really was a good app until the latest version. Every time I listen to my preset radio stations it will stop 3 minutes into it. I have to connect again and it is continuos. What is going on because it is aggravating. For the other reviews I can work waze and other apps. Ensure you have downloaded app radio to use with ec touch. Especially if you are using a pioneer.

This is ECTouch that Pioneer should have used! Large icons, easier to use, more functionality. This is now my 'go to' app. One big suggestion is that they should make the top left and right buttons (basically the 'forward' and back' buttons, much MUCH bigger. and move them down away from the edge of the screen - it's very hard to hit them in a moving car.

ECTouch worked great with my appradio 2. I upgraded to the new appradio 3 and ECTouch does not work.
The icon shows on the screen but when you try to use it, it just goes black. You need to hit the home button to get out.
Please try to make a fix and make it compatible for the new appradio 3.
This could be awesome again!

Cool to see some outside development for ECTouch radio. UI looks awesome. I'd pay $5 for it if it worked with SiriusXM internet streaming! Gave only 4 stars since I don't see a lot of value in paying for google maps that are already available with the pioneer app for free. Wont be purchasing yet but definitely has a lot of potential!

I like ECTouch , great idea but I bought the NewsBlur add on and it does not work, I get a login error when trying to log in via EC, but logging in via newsblur works. I’d buy the Navi addin if I knew it would work.

I like the overall simplicity but at the same I hate it because it does feel simple to use. Love to be able to see my Facebook feed. Seeing my cars logo. Accessing my contacts and music and videos too. The part I hate is that I can't access actual web pages so I can interact with them. Sure I can access Netflix on easy touch but I can't log in because it won't allow me to. That's why I have it 4 stars instead of 5. New updates are making it way better!! Thanks EC Touch

I download ECTouch mainly because AppEx (app radio extensions, for jail broke devices) isn't updated for iPhone 5S/iOS7 yet.
I didn't know what to expect from ECTouch, as I have never heard of it.
I must say I am extremely satisfied with it!
It doesn't have all the features AppEx does, such as texting from the radio, email, ETC; BUT this is a HUGE step in the right direction!
if you want to gain some more functionality from your AppRadio I HIGHLY recommend ECTouch. 5 STARS!
