Today is Tuesday, May 6 2025 andI have not received the Sunday newspaper which is supposed ti be delivered on Monday .... one day late. This i frequently happenening and I am flat out tied of this. I have stopped the mail carrier more than once complaining and asking why I do not have the newspaper. They blame you all for not delivering it to them. There is a great amount of confusion as to who is supposed to received the delayed newspaper. Why are they not better informed? I want this issue taken care of we are paying for a service and expect it to be resolved. This is happening all the time anymore. The mail carrier was ONE OF THE WORSE IDEALS YOU ALL CAME UP WITH. They can't get our regular mail delivered on time like bills...how did you possibly think they could handle getting the newspaper delivered accurately. Anyway get it resolved or we are quitting the paper ALL TOGETHER. We have been a loyal customer for years with you all. I expect a credit for Sunday's undelivered paper.

Regarding Account CJ9136483. On October 20, 2024, we placed our CJ subscription on a vacation hold. You stopped sending the paper right away (our neighbor checked to make sure we were no longer receiving the paper). YET, every month, you send me another bill for $40. We are NOT going to pay this bill, so stop sending it and credit my account for every charge since October 20, 2024. Do this by the next billing cycle or I will permanently cancel the paper which is nothing but a sad, adjunct paper for USA Today in any event.

I told you to cancel my subscription to the C-J because you told me that you no longer have the weekly TV schedule, which I paid separately for. Now today, March 5, I got delivered the newspaper AND the TV Guide, which two separate people there had told me you no longer carried. You also said that my last delivery would be February 26. Please explain. If you are still including the TV section, I do not want to cancel my subscription.

We don't receive our delivery issue of the CJ as much as we do. receive it. I have reported the non delivery many times. and sometimes get the issue the next day. That is no good to us. I realize you no longer want to do home delivery but that is still an option that many of us choose.

App is nearly useless in managing your account

I want to put a hold on delivery of my print edition, I was able to sign in in one try today, though that alone is usually a frustrating issue. Once signed in, there is no option I could find to manage my account. It only has a manage my i-Tunes account. My subscription is not through I-Tunes. I tried through the website and it’s not working properly either. I get errors or page missing messages.
Another complaint- the privacy settings cannot be changed through the app. It explains what they are, but does not allow options.
Can’t figure out why a huge media company like Gannet can’t get a decent working website and an app to work properly and actually be useful.

HORRIBLE!!!!! Do not subscribe. It hangs up all the time, all the stories' images are impossibly-high resolution (I want the text of the news, not pictures of it. Fine in a printed edition, not fine online.), at least half of the stories have a video component (again, if I want video I'll watch television.) and the writing is horrendous. Most of the reporters and all of the copy editors should be fired. None of them can spell or construct a grammatically correct sentence. Who the heck do these managers hire to write and edit a former Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper? The CJ management appears to have no journalistic pride anymore.

Errors galore

I can’t remember how many times I’ve found errors in this paper! Misspelled words, incorrect grammar, and believe it or not, a story on page 1 that said was continued on page 6, but the story was not there...or anywhere else in the paper. Guess the CJ is too cheap to have someone review the paper prior to printing.

Last week, instead of saying U of L, the title said “U off L”. I sent a message to both the accuracy email and the Editor’s email and never heard a word. No correction was ever made.
