When i initially downloaded CycleWorldMagazine two years ago the network timeout was very low and the server speed couldn't accommodate their timeout period. The download would never finish cuz it would constantly time out. Needless to say I couldn't even download one mag until they fixed this problem months later.
Customer service responds with standard emails they send to everyone with problems. I sent them an email highlighting the problems only to receive a generic solution using the same steps i had mentioned i already tried.
This hold true to this day. Since the recent upgrade for iOS 8 CycleWorldMagazine is blank,unusable, and won't load anything when clicked just a completely blank screen.
Not only did contacting them not resolve my issue but instead of utilizing my user feedback for development, they sent me a generic email telling me to try everything i had just mentioned to them. No customer service once so ever. Bonnier may have been a good company at one point but they made a mistake using a separate company for their ezines. Shame that a long time subscriber and huge fan of their magazine content is so fed up that i will make sure apple and iOS users know of this scam application. Don't get played like I did. Warning: This is an illegal scam of an application! Do not download!

CycleWorldMagazine works fine and is reliable, but you can only use it in portrait orientation. It'd be nice if you could see two pages side-by-side on landscape for those two-page photos. Also, can you add the ability to send bookmarks to iCloud or some other storage? If you get a new iPad, all the bookmarks have to be redone.

I’ve been a print subscriber for 10 years and a digital subscriber for the past 3 years. Like another reviewer, I’ve been unable to access subscriptions I’ve paid for and no help from Bonnier or the magazine staff. Even though I’m signed in to CycleWorldMagazine , it keeps prompting me to sign in again...a constant do-loop. Deleting CycleWorldMagazine and reinstalling doesn’t work either. I doubt I’ll renew my print subscription when it expires.

Even the support request feature is broken. This is literally the worst app I've ever seen. TOTAL SCAM.
I really wish I'd read the reviews before subscribing. They must be running their server on a single obsolete PC because it won't allow me to download a single issue. I've made repeated attempts, and it's just plain broken.
A total waste of $12. I can't believe they can get away with this. Go F#@K yourselves Cycle World.

Installed CycleWorldMagazine to read a magazine on a flight the next day, and spent the next 12 hours attempting to download the newest (December) issue of the magazine. It will get to some random point - between 20 & 80% done, and then say 'Download failed. Please try again later.' My internet is fine - something on the server side is goofy. Can't give an app that you can't use anything other than 1 star.

Always good content in this magazine, I especially enjoy the "Service" articles. App is working fine now, download a new mag in 3-4 minutes max. I'm using an iPad 3.

Takes your money, but doesn’t give you what you pay for. App crashes while downloading magazines and then will not work at all until you uninstall and reinstall app - then rinse repeat. Would like my money back now for my annual subscription - as this tells me no one’s taking care of CycleWorldMagazine.

Can only view latest downloaded magazine issue. Lost button to go back to “library” to select older monthly publications since ios11 update. Contacted App developer 2 months ago and was told they were aware of issue and a fix would come in about 2 weeks. Still waiting.

This needs to be fixed. First they go from monthly to quarterly without extending or reimbursement to long time subscription holders they put out a app like this. When you ask for help there is no response ever I have tried numerous times. I just hope the quarterlies get better so it would be worth the wait.

After downloading and, of course, immediate payment to them they say “wait a week or two to download the current issue (you get no back issues). A week in, still can’t download anything. Completely ruined this whole brand for me.

App consistently signs me out, then refuses to let me back in and doesn’t recognize my account, and there’s no phone support. A lot of wasted time when there’s a print edition available at the same price.
