NewsLeader is total trash that promises so much utility if it would simply work. Since updating to iOS 14 NewsLeader continues to fail and fail and fail. The text literally falls off of the pages when you load a page (downloaded or on-line reading). If I page forward or backward then reload the page it MIGHT keep the text on the page but most of the time closes NewsLeader .

I have emailed the editor of the paper with my problem which he/she acknowledged as an known issue. That was weeks ago with still no resolution.

I get Apple rolled out iOS 14 with essentially no warning; but that was some time ago now. Couple that with the fact I am paying for the daily-edition via NewsLeader and you can see I am clearly getting the short end of the stick.

If you intend to pay for a subscription to their e-edition and use NewsLeader SAVE YOUR MONEY.

It is not kept up to date. I want the version back that was like the actual newspaper. There are stories on this paper today that are from 2020. There are stories that have been in this version for a week Somebody is not monitoring the online version at all. And yes I am a paying customer

The News Leader app is by far the worst app that I’ve ever owned. I have signed up and pay my monthly subscription to access the paper digitally. I then sign in and it asks me to keep signing in even though it seems like it just accepted my sign in. Do not buy this. It’s not worth the frustration.

If you want to read the news on a next day basis, this is NewsLeader for you!

Was good until recent update. Now, when changing page size, it will often crash.

It is nice to have the news in my hand and at a moments notice. Half my news intake is from my phone while waiting in line or while I have a few minutes to spare here and there.

Had a hard time trying to temporarily cancel my subscription. Also, can't read comments or comment on app.

Overall, it does what it's supposed to do, but a few changes would be helpful.

App does not line up with email updates-
Searching is clumsy
Customer service is some foreign country where I find myself repeating the same requested info every time I call.

I will use the web site rather than NewsLeader . Too limited in available articles to read and no ability to search. Why bother with it?

I have the actual paper in front of me.
Not easy to find same section on this site! Seems it would be a simple click away!

Will not let you sign in or remain signed in. Requires you to sign in each time after 5 stories! Worthless!

I do not like the layout of NewsLeader. I prefer the iPhone app that shows complete pages of the newspaper, ads and all.

Where’s the Faith section

Rarely agree with their editorial viewpoints, but love the accessibility of NewsLeader for finding what I'm looking for.

I have had difficulty getting NewsLeader to work when I other apps work fine so the issue is with he app. Also NewsLeader has limited content with only 10 articles per heading. If you don't check the top stories multiple times a day you will miss some articles that are part of the print version. Ideally several days worth of stories would be available so this would be a complete info source. Lastly I love the article covering a Cardinals game from 11 days ago listed among today's sports stories instead of coverage from last night's game.

NewsLeader loads faster, is easier to navigate and has more content. NewsLeader also allows access to more content without subscribing. You can save stories for later reading when you are offline.

Love the news-leader and app. Push notifications are good, but not annoying or too frequent. Great source for in-depth local news. I feel like I always get the full story through the news-leader, and NewsLeader is easy to use.

This is a pretty usable app, but it lacks two elements for readability and better usability: subheading formatting and a search feature.

Heading within stories are formatted exactly like the story, which is confusing and reflects poor design.

There is no search feature at all… not sure why, as that has become a basic feature of content-driven apps.

Great way to keep up with the news when you're on the go. The push notifications keep you up to date with breaking news.

App works well. Makes it easy to check for major news while out of town or during the day.

Some articles appear in app ahead of the paper publication. I love the in-depth format of newspaper reporting. I need the local focus provided by the News-Leader. Breaking news notifications are a plus as well!

Best local news app hands down, for the content to the variety to the breaking news. Worth a download, for sure.

I really enjoy using your app. It puts everything at my fingertips. I travel frequently so using your app helps me stay current with what is happening in Springfield.
