$9.80 for each issue?

$8.99 per single issue is way too much. And how is a subscription at $9.80 per issue a “savings”?
Derp.

Major issues

Can't get a subscription without it crashing just trying to get an account!!!!

Insane cost vs. Value!

Really? You’re jacking up the price of your measly 4 issues per year from $31.99 to $48.99?? $17 for what? News that’s already 3 months old when it arrives? And it’s a digital mag so it’s not the rising cost of paper. I would have kept the sub at the original price but this is just a money grab like CBS All Access, which I begrudgingly already pay for. Get your act together CBS. You do have control over your licensees.

$$$

Wayyy too much money for the subscription

Crashs

During create account step, apps crashes. Saw the same comment back in jan, so they must not care...so I moving on.

Won

I tap StarTrekMagazine and it shows me the initial splash screen and then nothing. Says for iOS 4+, I have 4.2.1 so I thought it would work on my iPod. Nope.

Doesn't Work

Tried to subscribe 3 times and it crashed all three times just when it asked for my age.

Bad

It's a trap.
And a wast of money.

Much too expensive, especially without a preview...

I've read the print version quite often, but IMHO, digital should cost substantially less, especially as a large part of this magazine's high cost - I assume - is the thick, glossy paper it's printed on.

A free or reduced price preview issue would also go a long way - lets see how well you translated it before I fork over!

Not biting for now. Sorry.

Crash happy

Been trying to get StarTrekMagazine to work since the last update. I've restored my iPad, updated it, deleted StarTrekMagazine and reinstalled from both the backup on my computer and the iCloud and it won't even open. Can't begin the figure out their useless support page. Shame really. Needs serious work.

WAY too expensive!

Really? $8.99 PER ISSUE for a digital magazine? Even though it's quarterly, it still should be no more than a couple bucks.

New device

Upgraded to an iPhone six and cannot restore my purchases. I'm unable to view my subscription.

Flush

Dosnt work and app support site/page is terrible.

Re: great magazine, but.....

Way too expensive!

Well, it's mostly functional. App has flaws.

1: the bookmark function is *not* accurate; it jumps to a page a few pages away from where I set the mark (& where it is displayed). This may be because...

2: there are pages which load "interactive content." They look like ads to me. I already paid $8.99 of in-app purchase for a magazine & do not really want ads, thanks. (I hope they don't break StarTrekMagazine when I'm out of wifi range...) These false pages may not be being accounted for properly by the bookmark function.

3: there's no "library" button to get out of a magazine. There is only "store." The organizational abilities for keeping track of stuff are probably rudimentary at best. What is this "trash" button? Will I be able to re-download, or is this a way to lose $9?

3.5: no help/instructions easily findable.

4: no wish-list ability for back issues. Have to remember which one you want when you have the budget to blow $9 just to read a few pages of Star Trek Online fic. (I wish they'd just made a STO-fic issue...) Annoying as a whiny Krenim with a timeship.

5: it's basically a PDF reader. Tap to zoom in. Zoom out to turn a page reliably. Eh, it's okay.

Amazing

This is a really good magazine but its kinda expensive. :(
Minus two stars for being over priced

Very pricy!

Really excited about StarTrekMagazine but the magazines are WAY too expensive

Lettering Too Small

I like the magazine, but the digital version’s lettering is too small and it won’t allow me to increase to a more comfortable size.

Good app

Befgef

Great mag

Love it, but have you quit publishing?
